A sudden motion from behind them caught their attention.
It was a cyborg rounding a corner.

The silent alien fell into a crouch and took aim.

His laser tore a hole through Strelky's stomach.You could see right through it.
She screamed and fired back.
The cyborgs head exploded and his corpse fell backwards quivering.
The woman fell to her knees and put her arms around Spritzer,her most cherished friend.
"Get going,"she said weakly."I will kill anymore who come this way."
Brail hugged her and cried like a baby until the Captain extricated her.
"Take this,"the Strelken told her,handing the girl a palm laser."Save the last bullet for yourself."
The last they saw of her she was snuggling her face in the lizards kneck,her friend to the last.
