Captain Space opened his eyes and saw a young woman in a white radiance bending over him.
"It's not your time to die, Lucien.The Telemartian's have decided that you are to be a sort of Wandering Jew.For another few millennia you'll have to live with all the trouble you and him caused."
She looked back at the Helios.
"With everything in the universe to choose from, you had to come up with a toilet.?"
She shook her head and smiled at him.
"You don't recognize me?"
"Kylee...."his heart thudded in his chest.
"Shhhh..... They've given you a new body.How do you like it?"
He hadn't realized it.
He looked at his hands and they looked-
"Young.....I'm used to varicose veins...."
"And handsome,too,"his wife said,laughing.
She looked up at the sun of Nefarious and her light hearted expression turned grave.
"I'm afraid you have doomed this entire system, Lucien.You had to meddle in affairs best left alone and now billions will die.She only has a few hours left.The Crystal damaged it beyond hope.Time itself is safe,but things will never be the way they were."

"I'm taking the Time Crystal back with me.It shall never fall into the wrong hands again."
Another woman stepped up next to Kylee and smiled down at him.
"Hello, Captain."
"Holly!"
"She's joining us in the othersphere,"Kylee told him."It's the least I could do after the agony you put her through."
"Holly, dear child-"
"Shhhh! That's enough! You don't deserve her forgiveness, husband.Your punishment is to live with the weight of the dead.For the rest of your days you will see them staring back at you."
Holly gave him a thoughtful look.
"She loved you,you know."
"Yes, I know.I couldn't love her back.That's why she left me."
"She so desperately wanted a child.But she was born barren.You could-"
"Shhhh!" Kylee silenced her angrily."Do not interfere, Holly.That's how all of this started in the first place.Because of my husband's foolish compassion.We have to go."
They began to fade and the Roman could only watch helplessly.
"When you look into the stars,beloved,we shall be looking back at you,"Kylee said gently.
And then they were gone and he was alone on a dying planet.

The planet Nefarious only had about twenty minutes of life left to it.
In fact fifteen other planets only had about twenty minutes left.
