It is my hope that they'll become lost in this fictional world and forget about life's pressure, demands, responsibilities, pain and unhappiness if only for a short time.
To be inspired and cultivate hope for the future and the will to move forward unbending.
Perhaps, it's silly to think a story could do that, but that's how the main pov feels, or she will over time.
Does it matter then if it's fiction? If the words are true and have heart?
I don't know. I'm on this journey the same as you, reaching out trying to change my fate, even if it's just in the fictional dream of a story.
I believe what we write is more than just words; symbols agreed upon meaning—that us writers have influence in what we say and write.
A reader's heart is big and has much room, for more then one story, more than one journey.
That's why I'm here on Penana I want to read your storys, your dreams, be taken into what you imagine, lost in your worlds; while sharing my own.
