Andrea Clements is only 23. Today, she is part of The Scavengers.
I'm not too fabulous with names, but my point still stands. The fort now houses two total scavengers. With that in mind, we went and picked from the big box down the road. Brought back 50 pounds of equipment between the two of us, nearly 5 times more than I ever could alone. Very proud of how this is going at this rate.
We have room for nearly 10 people right now, more as needed. Not sure how many can fit in here, or how many others are out there. Hopefully we get word.
Andrea told me that she had worked as a programmer for websites, working nearly 110 hours a week just to make ends meet. Housing prices were driven up, and she had to steal to get by. They found out and are now out for her arrest. It's been this way for a month. She'll learn quick that just getting arrested is the least of our concerns. They believe I have died, and would probably be very quick to make sure I did if I am found. Being an outspoken opponent of the Executive Party gets a warrant put out for you. Reprogrammed or outright killed. They do not deserve to be hurt just for believing they deserve better, but with enough fear you can get whoever you want to do whatever you want, I guess.
