Andrea showed me how to remove the header scripts. I never knew it was possible, so definitely getting more people is good. We have a few more things, a lot of hope, and might try to find more scavengers in the future. Strength in numbers.
I have a new goal: I want to steal some history books. I want to figure out when this all started. It had to be the 40s or 50s, as everything since then has kind of blended together but been so heavily fractured at the same time. New this, new that, you buy a phone and find it's obsolete by the end of the week. The 4M screen cannot keep up with the new 12M ones that just came out. Why anyone needs more than 3932160 x 2211840 is beyond me. It just becomes numbers at that point. I've had to use monitors as low-resolution as 15340 x 8640 for work before and I couldn't tell the difference between them and anything above that. It's just excessive at that point.
Anyways, I am getting off track. Ever since then, everything kinda melded into one large arms race of spectacularly idiotic proportions. But there was a world before then. I need to track down some sort of history on the subject. The name was really, freakishly common sounding, I remember that much. The man on TV always, always looked smooth and confident, and forced everyone else out of the race. President of some company. Now he's long gone, but his impact on the world will never be undone.
I don't think I'll pursue much more of this tonight, I barely remember many of the details. I just need to find a library or bookstore in the area and take what I can. Until then, folks.
