The siege of Paris was near, the only thing left to do is to make a plan of attack.
The Kapitan, Elsa, and her trusted lieutnantin, Erika, was in the assigned war room of the chateau where they used as a forward base for the invasion of France.
Along with them was another female officer with brown hair, Kapitan Hildegard Manfred, a strict and brilliant tactician that leads the 409th Vorhutpanzer.
"At exactly 6.00 a.m, we will commence our attack on the capital," Elsa explained, "Your panzers would be supporting the infrantry as they will surround the enemy positions and overwhelm them through sheer force,"
Hildegard thought about it for a moment before saying, "What about the highly fortified bunkers that surround the entire capital?" she remarked, "It will take a lot of firepower to destroy even one of them,"
"Why don't we avoid it?" Erika suggested, "Surely there is a way around them,
"There is no way around them..." suddenly, a voice spoke beside them
They turned around and saw Wölfe sitting near a pile of crates and smoking a cigarette.
"There is a way under them though," he added, "Underneath all the bunker are supply tunnels, a large network of narrow tunnels used to supply each bunker with ammunition and other essentials and also an escape route outside the capital,
"And how would that help exactly?" Hildegard asked, "Those tunnels are too narrow for the infrantry to move and surprise them,"
"Don't just assume we haven't thought about it," Hildegard sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose
"You may not fit an entire army to go through it," Wölfe said, "But you can sneak in some bombs,"
"I'm not sure that would be effective," Elsa said, "Those bunkers can withstand a lot, explosives wouldn't do much good,"
"Explosives?" Wölfe responded, "Use Napalm bombs instead,"
All three were shocked to hear the idea, especially Elsa
"You want to burn them...Alive?" Elsa repeated slowly
Wölfe nodded, "It shouldn't hurt them much and it will surely be enough to disable the defenses of the bunker,
"What do you mean, 'it wouldn't hurt them much'?" Elsa said, "That's... a but much,"
"But it sounds like it could work," Erika said
"I agree," Hildegard added.
Elsa turned to look at them with slight concern.
"If we use more... less intense napalm bombs, we could force them out of the bunkers and leave them in the open," Erika tried to convince her, "Maybe they'll surrender too,"
Elsa thought about it for a moment and turned to look at Wölfe who remained mostly expressionless
"You want to win this war don't you?" He said
"I... do," She sighed, "Very well, have an reacquisition order for napalm bombs,"
"alright then my job is done here," Wölfe said as he left the three
After he left, Hildegard walked up to Elsa and said, "You're a bit soft you know that?" and then left
Erika looked at Elsa, she was concerned for her as the past few years have weighed down on her heavily.
But for now she just left her alone.
