The following morning, i packed my bags and headed out to meet Isaac in the driveway so we could travel together to the rink. I grabbed my ice skates, safety helmet, and a change of clothes, and then headed to the front door of my house. As i exited the domain, i saw a soft blue car pull into the drive. I recognized the model as being Isaacs family car.
I walked closer to the car before reaching it and entering through the left backseat door.
"Heyyy Japser" i heard Isaac sing. He was seated next to me in the car. I let my eyes drift arround my new surroundings. Next to Isaac sat a small, blone haired girl. As her eyes met mine she gave a welcoming smile.
"I hope you dont mind....my little sister and her friend love to ice skate too, so they are coming with us today" Isaac declared.
As i took in what my new friend said, my eyes drifted to the front passenger seat. My vision settled on a young girl with dark hair flowing over her shoulders. As she turned to make eye contact with me, i was struck with a wave of realization. "Its her."
I recogized the dark haired youngster as being the girl seated next to me in the courtroom the previous day. She looked almost identical to how she had looked then. But thats all i got time to think before she looked away.
Coming back to reality, i replied to Isaac's statement, "Oh no its fine," before flashing another glance at the girl.
