I was watching a movie in the car while my dad went into the grocery store to buy food, I forgot to tell him to get me a snickers bar so I ran out of the car and into the store I went. I was looking for my dad in the isles but couldn’t find him anywhere, I didn’t panic at first but after 5x of looking for my dad in all the isles, I started to panic and came to the conclusion that my dad forgot about me. There was more evidence because his car wasn’t in the parking lot anymore, I even went outside to check. I started crying and went up to a cashier and told them my dad forgot about me, and they comforted me while they asked me if I knew my parent’s phone numbers, of course I said no because I was just a child, I couldn’t even memorize them even if I tried. It wasn’t until like 20 minutes later that my dad showed up, it turns out that my dad didn’t realize I was gone because I left the movie playing in the back and he didn’t know until he finally arrived downtown to pick up my mom from work when he said “Genesis.” I didn’t answer because BITCH I WASN’T THERE. He turned around and I was gone, he started panicking because he realized my mom was gonna kill him if he didn’t find me before she got out of work. The first place he checked was the grocery store and thank god it wasn’t some other place because that grocery store was so far from my house (I don’t live there anymore though, got a new house) I didn’t want to go walking all the way to my house, but then again I could’ve just asked one of the employees if they could drive me to my house once they got out of work because it was almost closing time anyway. I ran to my dad the moment I saw him, when we got into the car he started scolding me BUT KARMA’S A BITCH HAHAHAHA, MY MOM SCOLDED HIS ASS THE WHOLE DRIVE HOME AND WAS STILL SCOLDING HIM WHEN WE GOT THERE.
