Theodore Vandelles - A well-educated lawyer who has a slight English accent due to his time at Oxford University in England. He is somewhat of a sociopath who manipulates his younger brother to kill for him and help him seize what he wants.
Sebastian Vandelles- He took over his father's business after his mother died of tuberculosis and his grief-stricken father retired due to Genevieve's death. Sebastian is a smooth-talking psychopath who loves to kill and he will kill anyone who gets in his way.
Percival Vandelles- The grief-stricken father honest businessman and pillar of the community who retired from the railroad business that he loved after his beloved wife passed. Slowly recovering after a few years and helping Sebastian run the Vandelles Railroad into the next century.
Maybelle Jefferson- The proud and simple maid who served the Vandelles for many years, and tried to teach Theodore and Sebastian right and wrong, but was unaware of their psychological disorders in their adult years, never showing any signs as children of their evil ways.
Reginald Blackwater- a typical con man and thief, who has the misfortune of dealing with Sebastian Vandelles.
Constable Lawrence - a very by-the-book constable who will do his best to solve any crimes is the beloved Fairhaven, Virginia
Mayor Edmond Harrington- the beloved mayor of Fairhaven whose family was one of the founders of Fairhaven, and dear friend of Percival Vandelles whom he helped to found the Vandelles Railroad.
Samuel Whitmore- head of The Founder's Association and level-headed businessman.
Abigail Jenkin - an honest town person whose Great Grandfather helped found the town of Fairhaven.
Captain William Foster - A dedicated and honored Union soldier.
