Hezago shuffled through the books; for the 20th time that minute. “Um… Hezago? I could help you if you just told him what you were looking for-” Eleanora said, sitting next to him. “I've told you multiple times already, no, but thank you anyway.” “Alright, if you say so.” Hezago, even now, was still finding it difficult to reach a solution to stopping existence’s decay. Out of every single spell book there was, not one had brought him tranquillity.

Hezago abruptly stood up, making up his mind. “...Where are you going?” Said Elenora, looking up from the book she was reading. “Somewhere.” He said, rather cryptically, and promptly disappeared.

Hezago appeared at the edge of the universe, its glossy void like edge gleaming at him almost as if saying hello. Books in hand, he walked through, determined.

He appeared in the Outer Decimation Ring, where all said frozen yet decaying. All was black and white even the magma as bland, with, furthermore, life decaying into atoms right before his eyes. He strode onward, coming upon the edge of said ring, this, black as well, but gleaming and no such manner. Quite the opposite actually.

It seem to absorb all lights surrounding it, which explained the monochromatic colour scheme in the area.

Hezago stood (or floated?) there, while his inexplicably going wand floated somewhere next to him. He flipped through the exact same book this time dropping it while doing so. If that was even possible (you know space all that). He picked it up, mildly annoyed. Then a thought came to him. It would be best if he were just to go ahead and test every single spell! Although most of them would less than likely work, at some point he'd get there (hopefully).

So he opened the book (which I should mention by now was titled “Every single damn spell that his ever fucking existed; from oldest to youngest.” By Arvagador Borealis) and cast the first spell he saw; Aurora Borealis.

To his utmost shock, a portal opened.

Gleaming like no other, giving curiosity never thought possible, which is what Hezago was in at that moment, curious.

He stepped (or floated) through, a gigantic spear of light that was unnoticeably contracting behind him. He then looked ahead, and to his relief, there stood one other humongous and bigger sphere that withheld only two celestial bodies within it. A star, larger than any star to ever exist, was burning its woes away, and a single other planet, which, upon inspection, was an exact (but human-less) copy of Terra.

Joy flooded through Hezago with, again, relief among it. He had done it. He had, finally, over multiple years, done it. Completed it. Finished it. And here he was, enjoying the fruition of his efforts. He just had to tell someone.

And he knew just the person;

Zack.

Hezago appeared in the castle they now shared, ecstaticness surrounding him. He ascended up the stairs, skipping an absurd amount of steps at a time, until he reached the top floor, found Zack's room barged in, and found him reading a book, cup of tea in hand.

“Zack! Zack! Guess what!” Zack, taking notice of him trying to look at said person. He smiled at Hezago’s happiness, and spoke. “What?” “Guess!” “Erm, you found something?” “Ohhh, very close, but not exactly~!” “Hmm,” Zack said, putting on a mask of confusion. “Then what is it?” “I’ve finally solved it!”

Zach was genuinely confused this time. “...solved what?” “Existencial-” He spun in the air for a few seconds- “decay!” “Which is?” “The universe! Everything is going to die! I thought I told you already?” Zach set the tea cup down. “...no you didn't.” “Okay!” He said, still buoyant. “So basically, everything was going to die except you, me, Avada, the others, and the things I choose to recreate! The universe was collapsing in on itself, and since I didn't know how to actually stop that, I decided to see if there was any other place to go because I couldn't pass through the damn barrier! I used the portal spell and voila, I solved everything! Whoopee!” he jumped cartoonishly, joyous and filled with glee.

Zach although he didn't understand Jack squat of what Hezago said as he was talking too fast, he knew he was proud of it, so he decided the best action was to congratulate him on his discovery.

Did you know?

The presence of the outer decimation ring was the reason the universe collapsed! It would remain as such for other universes until the one and only Sol found a way to control and remove it.
