Oh Satan! I wish you would die.
I want to kiss the stars and have a good night.
This deceitful world needs to be destroyed.
People are so perverted.
All the evil never changes; it all needs to be obliterated.
Why can't they be innocent?
Oh angels! Defend me from the darkness and bring me to the light.
Lead me down childhood memories, down gravel roads and special places.
Take to the campfires of my youth and the smell of burning embers and countless vacations.
Take me from the clutches of the sins and disgrace and the things that linger.
Take me from the accusers' pointing fingers.
Tired of this existence and the evil that lives here.
Time and space turn the pages, as long as we dwell here.
The knowledge we didn't know becomes so clear.
All I know is we are here a short time, but why can't we live our lives and remain innocent?
Our times and trials are relentless, never a break, swimming up stream in a bottomless sea.
A burning hell, without a flame.
Our human minds to blame.
The fires would be quenched if we were innocent.
We need a everlasting child's playtime.
Time to get to know one another , when we are young.
All the turmoil could be undone.
Only if we were innocent.
