Butterflies are fairies dancing,

Flying around in a waltz, a tango,

Fluttering in their wing made wind,

Isolation once protected me,

I studied my fairies all alone,

Away from the words of those,

Wishing to drag me down.

But suddenly the winds changed,

I changed,

the words remain same,

Not belonging,

but wanting to,

Not shining,

but wanting to,

Reject the fairies,

walk away,

When that couldn’t be done,

When I was drawn into their waltz--

Shed their blood,

Cut them to pieces,

Toss to mud,

When butterflies go,

Are gone,

The fairies follow,

Crying,

Running,

Growing pains hurt their creator,

When their god’s belief was dead.
