"You better be right about this," Mijin groaned.
"We've seen so many zombies already. They're not smart enough for this," Joon-yeong said. A few moments later...
"Push for god sake," Joon-yeong screamed as the zombies started to climb up.
"Joon-yeong what did you say earlier? They're not smart enough for this? Care to repeat it again?" Hee-young sarcastically said as she helped to push and kick off any zombies that are trying to climb up.
"I take back my words," Joon-yeong whined as he continued to push, "Push harder! Push!" 37Please respect copyright.PENANAEHgW5kUEOU
"Are you pregnant or something right now? Why are you telling us to push like that," Chang-Hoon looked at him. Joon-yeong sighed before shouting to push even more.
"I don't think he understands you fully very well," Hee-young said as she slightly giggled for a moment.
"You- Your wound doesn't hurt that much now, huh? Talk so much," Chang-Hoon spat as he lightly kick her leg.
"Suhyeok, above you!" Joon-yeong quickly went to push the zombie away, not knowing whether he was the mouth or not. Hee-young quickly took out her knife before hitting it at the zombie who was targeting Joon-yeong. Hee-young looked at Joon-yeong and he looked at her before both of them looked at his arm.
"The door won't open!" Suhyeok shouted as they tried to open the door. Gyeongsu tried to kick the door which ended up hurting his leg.
"God damn you, aren't you a little bit too stupid to do that," Wujin joked as he sees Gyeongsu hopping on one foot, the other being held by his hand, trying to soothe the pain.
Onjo tried all ways to open the door but nothing was working. Chang-Hoon quickly grabbed Namra's lighter that was in his pocket and started trying to apparently melt the thing which will probably kill them all.
"It won't open! It's lock from outside!" Cheongsan shouted as he pushed the door.
"Appa..." Onjo's voice trailed off as the door opens. Hee-young continued to hold onto Joon-yeong before looking at his arm. The fading bite mark could be seen over there.
"You should've let me go," Joon-yeong mumbled.
"You and I only need to know this," Hee-young said, "You won't turn. If you did, it would've been just now."
"Okay. Are you all able to run?" Onjo's dad asked and they nodded, "Good. Okay. If you go straight through the tennis courts and pass the construction site, you'll hit the mountain. If you cross the mountain… and get to Yangdong-"
"Mr Nam!" He quickly pushed the zombie away. They started to run away, all the way to the other side where there were even more zombies coming, chasing after them. Mr Nam took out a flare before shooting into the air and blowing a whistle attracting them.
"Run," Onjo's dad said as he went to push Onjo to the side, locking the gates.
"APPA! What are you doing! Come back," Onjo screamed out as she looked at her dad who was already going to be in tears.
"Onjo, stop, he has a bite mark," Hee-young muttered as she looked at Onjo's arm, the fresh bite mark on his arm, freshly bitten. This made Onjo sob.
"Onjo, look at me... Go," Onjo's dad said as he touched Onjo's cheeks once more before looking at Cheongsan who knew what to do and held onto Onjo, away from her father.
"Appa! You promised me! You won't leave me," Onjo screamed as she sees more zombies biting onto her father's back, shoulder, leg and arm. Anywhere visible part allowed the zombies to bite into it.
"Onjo... Go!" Onjo's dad shouted once more before they were able to run away from the scene that will forever engrain in their head.
"Go upstairs!" Namra shouted as they reached the construction place
"To the second floor," Daesu shouted as they ran up.
"There's no way out. It's blocked," Wujin sighed as he looked at the place. They stepped out of the place, the platform that were meant for the workers. 37Please respect copyright.PENANAWWHIbNjiJW
"We keep on hitting dead ends," Daesu whined. Hee-young sat down and held onto her wound. Gyeongsu was literally looking around, trying to help out to find a way to Yangdong.
"How's your wound," Joon-yeong asked as he looked at Hee-young's wound.
"Fine for now. I think I can last through a few more hours," Hee-young said. Suhyeok sat beside her and looked at her.
"I highly doubt that," Suhyeok said before looking away.
"Chang-Hoon, is Namra alright?" Joon-yeong asked as he looked at Namra's arm which had a fresh new bite mark.37Please respect copyright.PENANA9J7S1JC648
"She's fine. No worries," Chang-Hoon muttered as he held Namra's hand, lightly squeezing it.
" I really think that that's the only way out," Wujin mumbled as he looked down.37Please respect copyright.PENANAEWwmwxJtcB
"No. It drops into the basement on that side, and there are exposed steel bars," Daesu said, looking at the steel bars, shivering at the sight of it.
"No way we can jump down," Cheongsan said. 37Please respect copyright.PENANAucWQE3z5n3
"The ground is filled with zombies, we'll die if we go down," Joon-yeong said.37Please respect copyright.PENANAe9JZoAG6Ds
"There's a door on the first floor that leads to the mountain. We have to go that way," Cheongsan said. 37Please respect copyright.PENANArWsGWkci4c
"But it's full of zombies," Onjo muttered.
"Unless..." Hee-young muttered as she thought of a plan. It seemed that Cheongsan knew what she was thinking.
"If someone goes to the roof and screams, the zombies will follow them. Then I'm pretty sure it'll empty out in there, and the rest can escape. I think it can work," Cheongsan said.37Please respect copyright.PENANAUrwQ9jQ70x
"No," Onjo firmly said, "Stop sacrificing yourselves."
"We said we'd all survive together," Hyo-ryung added on as she looked at the others.
"What happens if we wait till it rains one more time," Gyeongsu questions.
"We can't. We'll die. No food nor water. The heat too. Plus, it is only a matter of time when Hee-young's wound starts to get infected and get worser. If we continue to wait, when we die, we are going to decompose," Joon-yeong said.
"Do you hear that?" Namra whispered. Joon-yeong turned his head, looking around before nodding his head.
"They say to take cover," Joon-yeong mumbled.
"This is a public announcement. Explosives will be detonated at the sports complex, Hyosan High School, Future College, and Hyosan Intersection. If you hear this, take shelter in subways and underground garages."
"Joon-yeong... Are you ok? How are you able to hear something we can't," Gyeongsu questions.
"I-"
"He's hearing abilities are good," Hee-young interrupted, pulling Joon-yeong away from them.
"They'll blow up our school," Namra added on and that was when they all started to panic. Hee-young turned to look around for a moment. She felt something was wrong, like someone was behind her.
The wind lightly brushed her skin. Her body shivered. She cocked her head, looking at the once looking like a window. She heard footsteps, vaguely.
