"Onjo, don't worry too much I'm sure Suhyeok will be just fine. He's a great athlete and super fast," Isak said. Onjo sighed. Hee-young stood at the side, looking out at the window.
"Chang-Hoon, what if I become one of them," Hee-young said as she looked at him.
"You won't. I won't let you be one of them," Chang-Hoon said staring at Hee-young, "I can't let that happen." Hee-young sighed, was her cold attitude going away already?
"Isak. Why are you so cold?" Onjo said out. Hee-young and Chang-Hoon turned their head, facing at the two.
"So cold?" Isak questions.
"You hand is really cold," Onjo said, a worried tone could be heard.
"What about my hand?" Isak asked, still clueless.
"Isak, are you..." Onjo's voice trailed off. Isak shook her head.
"Really. I wasn't bitten. I mean it. I really wasn't bitten," Isak said, trying to make them believe. Hee-young looked at her, blood trickling down her leg.
"What's going on? Did you get bitten?" Nayeon shouted.
"I said I wasn't!" Isak shouted.
"Calm down, Isak," Hee-young said, remembering that when she saw Minji and Coach Kang got angered or worried, they turned very fast. Fear is the key to turning fast.
"Onjo," Isak said walking closer to Onjo. Cheong san pulled Onjo away from her.
"Isak," Onjo muttered.
"What are you doing? Get her out of here right now!" Nayeon shouted.
"Shut up, you are going to get them all in," Chang-Hoon shouted.
"Shit. They're going to climb over," Gyeongsu shouted. Isak's nose started to bleed. Red crimson blood slowly flow out of her nose, non-stop.
"Throw her out the window," Nayeon shouted, "Hurry! She's turning into a zombie!"
"Yah shut up," Hee-young said, slapping her.
"Isak, please don't," Onjo said, tears flowing out of her eyes. Bones crunching could be heard. And soon, a growl could be heard. She fully turned. Hee-young quickly ran towards Isak who was going for Onjo and Cheong san, pushing her out of the window.
Onjo quickly held onto Isak's hand as she tried to hold on.
"You have to let go," Cheong san said. Onjo kept quiet as she quietly sobs, memories of her and Isak were flowing in her memory.
"Let go," Hee-young whispers softly as she held onto Onjo's hand, slowly letting her hand off Isak's, before Isak fell to the ground. Onjo led out tiny sobs. Hee-young sighed before hugging her. "Yah, cry now. Don't cry later. Let it all out." The class were looking at them, Hee-young showing care and affection to Onjo. She showed it to them for the first time. Chang-Hoon let out a tiny smile as he saw Hee-young finally ready to open up to others.
"We're not gonna last here longer," Cheong san said, after everyone calmed down.
"Where would we go?"
"The hose from earlier," Hee-young suggested, "It could be a rope."
"Open it just a few inches. Enough for the hose to fit," Cheong san said.
"Isn't it better to wait for the rescuers to come save us?" Gyeongsu said.
"We might all die by the time they arrive," Cheong san said.
"If I turn into a zombie, I'll bite you first," Gyeongsu said.
"He got it!" Hyo-ryung shouted.
"We need to tie knots," Cheong san said as Gyeongsu and Jimin went on to help him. Hee-young looked at Chang-Hoon where he was smiling at her.
"I could really use a cigarette right now," Chang-Hoon whispered as he reach for her pocket, taking out the box, lighting up one.
"Yah, we are in an apocalypse and you can still be smoking?" Nayeon shouted.
"Yah, people are stress," Hee-young shouted as she looked at Chang-Hoon who was taking a long drag.
"Insane," Wujin whispers.
"Yah, give me some," Hee-young whispers to Chang-Hoon, he blew out one before handing her it to her.
"Thank you so much," Hee-young said, taking a drag.
"Gyeongsu, go first," Cheong san said.
"Yah, how many times you want me to die?" Gyeongsu asked, "Fuck."
"Just go," Hee-young said as she look at him, with that Gyeongsu agreed.
"He is so whipped with her," Daesu whispered. Wujin nodded his head.
"I am going down. Fuck, fuck, fuck," Gyeongsu shouted.
"I want to go down first," Nayeon said.
"One at a time, it will snap if there are too many people," Cheongsan said.
"Ms Park is done here," Gyeongsu shouted.
"The second floor? Broadcasting room?" One by one they went down. Cheong san went over to Onjo trying to get her to go.
"I lost everyone," Onjo said, "There's no one else I like." Cheongsan looked at her in frustration.
"There are people who like you. Your dad," Cheongsan said.
"Quickly!" Hee-young shouted as she sees the door not holding on any longer. They quickly hurried down and went in. Namra took a quick look at her before she went down.
"You go down first," Chang-Hoon said.
"Go down fucker," Hee-young said, "I can go down quickly. You are the one who needs to go down first."
"But-" Chang-Hoon stopped arguing the moment he saw her angry face, he quickly went down.
"For fuck sake, I am already hated by humans, now I am being hated by zombies too?!" Hee-young shouted as she saw the door opening, zombies rushing in. She quickly climbed out of the window and jumped down, holding onto the hose.
"Hee-young, there's a zombie," Chang-Hoon shouted.
"I know. I can see that. I am not blind," Hee-young said, groaning.
"Yah! Kick it off," Chang-Hoon shouted.
"Do you not see that I am trying to do so?" Hee-young shouted.
"Why are these two bickering like they are brother and sisters," Wujin asked. Jimin shrugged.
"Just kick the face," Chang-Hoon shouted back.
"I don't want my fucking 1000000 won shoe to get dirty," Hee-young shouted at Chang-Hoon.
"Now isn't the time to bother about a shoe," Chang-Hoon shouted.
"He got your fucking shoe!" Suhyeok shouted. Hee-young looked up seeing the guy who was standing at the edge.
"I already said, I can see that. I am not blind for fuck sake," Hee-young said, kicking the zombies face, avoiding the mouth.
"But since young, you have been that blind," Suhyeok said, Hee-young send him a look which was about to kill him. "You know what. Fuck it honestly, I am coming down," Suhyeok said
"Stay down there," Hee-young said.
"Oh shit," Suhyeok muttered as he nearly fell again.
"Bare-su, look up!" Daesu shouted. A zombie was looking at Suhyeok, ready to feast him, opening it's mouth wide, blood dripping to Suhyeok's face which made him jump off the tiny cement, wrapping his arms around Hee-young's waist.
"Why are we in this situation again for the second time today," Hee-young groaned as she recalled what happened in the morning.
"Yah, stop moving. Let me get the zombie off," Suhyeok said as he kicked it off her feet.
"Yah, stop hugging me," Hee-young said.
"What, I am not hugging you... You like it?" Suhyeok asked, looking at her. Hee-young rolled her eyes before focusing on getting into the broadcasting room. Outside she looks cold but somehow internally, she was blushing.
"Close it. Close it before they get in!" Nayeon shouted, "Would you just close it already?"
"Hee-young was still out there and you want us to shut her out? Imagine what this bastard would do to us if we did that," Gyeongsu said, pointing his finger to Chang-Hoon.
"I can't stand you, welfie," Nayeon said. Hee-young looked at the two, having Chang-Hoon to cover her ears before she starts to shout again.
"What did you just call me?" Gyeongsu shouted, enraged with anger.
"What's happening?"
"You hit me?" Nayeon shouted.
"What's going on here guys," Ms Park asked concern.
"He just hit me," Nayeon whined.
"Only because you called me a welfie," Gyeongsu defended himself.
"Is it not true?" Nayeon said.
"You can't just say shit like that," Gyeongsu shouted.
"What's a welfie? Tell me. What is it? What's a welfie?" Ms Park asked.
"A person on welfare," Suhyeok muttered as the students didn't there to say it.
"What?"
"It means a person on welfare," Suhyeok said again, loudly, "'Welfie' for short." Ms Park sighs.
"Na-yeon, that was wrong. Don't ever say that again. And Gyeong-su. When you hit people, you're the one who ends up losing. Do you understand?" Ms Park said.
"No I don't," Gyeongsu replied clearly angry.
"Yah, you got gum?" Chang-Hoon questions.
"Why." Chang-Hoon pointed at his stomach, indicating that he was hungry.
"You should smoke instead of eating," Hee-young muttered as she took out the pack of gum, handing it to him.
"What if it all started at the hospital?" Hee-young looked up, realising.
"Fuck... Lee Alice," Hee-young whispered to Chang-Hoon. Chang-Hoon immediately understood what she meant.
"Yah, maybe it is not that hospital. It could be at other hospitals," Chang-Hoon said. If Lee Alice turns or something, Hee-young will feel that it was her fault.
"Uh, internet. Internet," Joon-yeong suddenly thought. Daesu immediately offered the chair, allowing him to seat.
"What's the problem? Why is it not turning on?" Ms Park asked, as the computer starts to load extremely slowly.
"The school's internet is very slow," Joon-yeong explained. Wujin sighed loudly. "It worked." Joon-yeong quickly went in and opened the browser.
"Search zombie virus," Daesu suggested, Wujin nodded.
"No. Try Hyosan," Hyo-ryung said.
"See what's trending," Jimin suggested.
"No," Joon-yeong said sternly and Jimin replied in annoyance.
"Can all of you tell me, what are y'all going to search up in short?" Hee-young questions as she sees them not typing anything yet.
"I'm checking the news first," Joon-yeong said. He clicked on one of the videos which made the girls scream except for Namra and Hee-young of course. "I think I'll just check Facebook."
"Or Instagram," Daesu said.
"How many followers do you have?" Joon-yeong asked. Hee-young snorted, "Probably 100, I give 150 for him being a good singer."
"Just use Facebook," Daesu said. Loads of notification starts to flow in as they log into Joon-yeong's account.
"How many friends do you have?" Daesu gasped. Joon-yeong went on to check his messages first when the hose from earlier smash the window glass. Hee-young who was standing close to the window had glass hitting her, causing some blood on her face, specifically her cheeks.
"Did anyone not make it in," Cheongsan questions as he looks at all of them. Hee-young tried going closer but Suhyeok and Chang-Hoon quickly pulled her away from the window.
"Cheongsan, don't go any closer," Ms Park shouted. As Cheongsan got closer to the window, a zombie suddenly came out, her leg entangled with the hose.
"Ah, fuck," Hee-young shouted. Gyeongsu and Cheongsan tried to get the zombie out, then Suhyeok went to use the broom, using it to stab the zombie, accidentally hitting Gyeongsu's nose.
"Don't go near it!" Nayeon shrieked.
"Yah, shut up. Zombies are tired of hearing your voice," Hee-young shouted at her as she went over kicking the zombie off, after Gyeongsu used the desktop to hit the zombie. With that, it fell down.
"Are you ok?" Cheongsan asked and they all nodded their head.
"YAH! You're bleeding! Get out of here!" Nayeon shouted or it was a whine. They all looked at Gyeongsu whose nose was bleeding.
"Really? That's because Suhyeok hit me with the fucking mop," Gyeongsu laughed as he went to wipe it. Nayeon shook her head.
"No, you're bleeding. That is what happened to Coach Kang and Isak," Nayeon said, trying to make all of them to believe her. They did started to believe it, standing back a little away from Gyeongsu.
"There's no fucking bite. Plus, Hyeok did hit him with the mop. That is very stupid actually because if it wasn't for that, we wouldn't have another baby whining coming out again," Hee-young said, defending Gyeongsu, looking at his arm. Suhyeok was internally smiling, she called him Hyeok after 1 year.
"Then his hand. Explain," Nayeon shouted once more.
"I got that when I threw the computer," Gyeongsu defended again, "You guys can check it." They quickly went over to check it, inspecting it.
"It's a scratch," Daesu confirmed.
"It's not a bite, just a scratched. Thank god," Ms Park sighed in relieve, "Nayeon say sorry to this."
"Why should I?" Nayeon scoffs.
"Because he saved us?" Chang-Hoon finally butted in. It was so obvious that he couldn't stand the whiny girl too.
"Why can't you just say that you're sorry? Because I'm not sorry. I saw everything. I saw the creature grabbed you. I'm right. He could be infected," Nayeon whined.
"Nayeon enough," Joon-yeong said.
"It really did. That thing grabbed his hand," Nayeon continued to whine.
"Wait, by touching the hand, one will be infected?" Onjo questioned.
"I don't know but-"
"I touched Isak before she turned, so am I infected?" Onjo asked.
"That is because he has a cut on his hand while you don't," Nayeon said, "And since it is an open wound, it would-"
"This is fucking bullshit," Gyeongsu shouted.
"Na-yeon. I know you always hated Gyeong-su, but I think you're really crossing the line here," Cheongsan said.
"But-"
"Hey, female dog, will you mind keeping quiet? I need to concentrate on taking this glass out of my face. With you barking, it is really very disturbing. Too noisy to my liking," Hee-young suddenly talked as she was looking at the window for her to see her reflection.
"Gyeongsu, how about you go into the recording room for ten minutes? I know it is hard but at least it's better than people thinking you're infected," Ms Park said, finally coming into a conclusion.
"It is only the female dog that is thinking that. Not us," Hee-young shouted, using that as a way to scream in pain.
"Please do it Gyeongsu," Ms Park plead.
"f*ck ten. I'll do half… I'll just do a full hour," Gyeongsu said.
"There's really no point doing an hour since it takes less than five minutes. Stop overreacting. It's just to be sure," Ms Park said.
"See you in an hour," Gyeongsu said, going into the recording room. Hee-young sighed, Chang-Hoon looked at her.
"That was a bloody annoying bitch," Chang-Hoon said.
"Honestly, she is the worse of the worse," Hee-young said.
"Worser than Lee Alice?" Chang-Hoon joked.
"That Lee Alice tried to flirt with you and Gwinam. Plus, she did worser things than Nayeon. Of course, I will get angrier at her," Hee-young mumbled.
"So you do care about me and Gwinam... MyungHwan?" Chang-Hoon questions.
"He is out. He thinks he is better than Gwinam," Hee-young muttered, "Don't tell him that."
"Do you even think he is alive in this apocalypse? Bro's brain is that tiny," Chang-Hoon said.
"Don't let him even hear you saying that," Hee-young said. Chang-Hoon led out a chuckle. Suhyeok who was seating at the other side of the room, has his fist clenched. He wasn't too happy that the two were that close.
"Han Gyeongsu, I'm going to kill you," Cheongsan jokes as he looks at Gyeongsu.
"What are you doing?" Gyeongsu mouthed out.
"Thirty minutes," Cheongsan said, seeing that Gyeongsu doesn't understand a single thing that he just said, "It's been minutes. Come out." Gyeongsu shook his head, using his eyes to glare at Nayeon. Hee-young looked at the twos friendship, how sweet.
"Ms. Park. It's been more than minutes, but he still doesn't want to come out," Cheongsan sighed.
"I'll see what I can do," Ms Park said, going into the room. Nayeon stood all the way at the back, doing something. Hee-young turned to look at her, her eyes looking exactly at the handkerchief. Namra saw it too.
"He looks fine," Daesu said.
"Is he always this stubborn," Jimin questions.
"I'll go," Cheongsan said again.
"Why would you go? If anyone should, it's Nayeon." Jimin said, giving an icy glare at Nayeon. 111Please respect copyright.PENANATKL4DSOzUG
"Why should I?"
"Because he is like this because of you," Jimin shouted.
"Was it wrong to suspect him? You did too. Everyone did. It wasn't just me," Nayeon shouted. 111Please respect copyright.PENANAQrOct3ADVZ
"I believe him," Jimin said. The others nodded.
"I can't believe I am actually fucking saying this but I also believe him," Hee-young said.
"You don't have the rights to talk in this argument," Nayeon spat, looking at Hee-young with her dirty look. Chang-Hoon instantly glared at her back, pulling Hee-young behind him.
"You remember your promise, right? After minutes you'd apologize," Ms Park said. Nayeon groaned softly before going into the room. Everybody looked at them. Hee-young looked at Nayeon's hand, which was taking out the handkerchief out, a huge blood stain was over there and she was going to use it on Gyeongsu. Hee-young's eyes widen as she started to put the pieces together. Hee-young quickly pushed them out of the way , opening the door, where Nayeon was near having the thing to touch Gyeongsu's scratch. 111Please respect copyright.PENANAOgwQWUj7fA
Hee-young quickly pushed Nayeon's hand away from Gyeongsu before slapping her cheeks. "What the fuck do you think you are doing?"
"I never liked you. Welfie," Nayeon shouted at Gyeongsu before walking out, staring at Hee-young.
"You little piece of shit," Gyeongsu shouted as he went to charge to Nayeon.
"I did nothing wrong. You only think about yourself. You said to close the door111Please respect copyright.PENANAYkN2AhXzAG
before anyone could get in. You said it would be safer for us. That's not right. We almost died when Gyeong-su pulled Coach Kang in," Nayeon spat. Hee-young gave her another slap. 111Please respect copyright.PENANAR0TNBS7haO
"That doesn't give you the rights to turn him into one of them," Hee-young said coldly, her icy cold face came back.
"What do you mean by that?" Nayeon shouted.
"Your handkerchief. You wiped it with the blood on the broom handle," Namra finally said, "I saw it."
"I didn't do it!" Nayeon shouted.
"Then take it out. Take it out from your pocket," Namra said.
"I said no. Why should I take it out?" Nayeon shouted back, "Fuck you. Who do you think you are? Class president?"111Please respect copyright.PENANABYy2WBEZFz
"You never treated me like president," Namra simply said.
"Namra that's enough. If that is true, it means Nayeon tried to kill Gyeongsu," Ms Park said. Hee-young glared at the English teacher.
"It's true. Nayeon did it. She killed him," Namra said.
"You fucking cunt. There. Happy? This is blood. I wiped Gyeong-su's hand," Nayeon said. Hee-young let out a loud scoff. 111Please respect copyright.PENANAFt25MqPbTm
"That's his blood?"
"You can't tell?" Nayeon scoffs loudly.
"Then put it on your wound. Wipe yourself with it if you're so confident," Namra said.
"You never even touch Gyeongsu with the handkerchief, how can his blood be that much even when it is just a tiny scratch," Hee-young questions.
"Yah, you fucking shut up. Don't tell me you never hated Gyeongsu before. Don't tell me you never talked shit about Gyeongsu before," Nayeon shouted.
"I never did," Hee-young shouted back.
"Don't think because they don't know what you are doing means I also don't know. I can spill it," Nayeon threatens.
"That's enough," Chang-Hoon said.
"Why is Gyeong-su better than me? That dirty welfie pushed me. I didn't kill him, okay? I could've done that if that dirty bully didn't stop me," Nayeon blurted out. It felt as though time stopped. They heard it.
"What dirty bully? Lee Nayeon, you really crossed the line too far," Hee-young shouted as she went up to Nayeon slapping her. She was about to punch her till Nayeon's word hit her.
"Go on, hit me. Hit me like how you did it to Lee Alice. My bloody sister," Nayeon threatens. Hee-young felt everything stopped. She felt stares all staring at the two girls. "What? Are you scared now? Scared that they found out who you are?"
"No wonder I thought she was shit. You and her are sisters," Hee-young muttered, "That is probably the reason why I hate the both of you!" Without a second, a punch was received to Nayeon. "You know what, it is you and your bloody sister that caused my life like this!" Chang-Hoon quickly held onto Hee-young, stopping her from punching her.
"I have no friends at all. Fuck you all. And I hope... Park Hee-young, I hope you die miserably. I hope they will all hate you. I hope when you die, they will remember that you are a bully, a liar, a bitch," Nayeon said, before she went out of the room. Hee-young glared at the girl that just walked away.
"Listen… No matter what happens, you stay alive. Also, you must never take a life. If you cause someone else to die, life becomes completely meaningless. All right? Hee-young, open up your feelings to others now, alright?" Ms Park said before chasing after Nayeon.
"Fuck," Cheongsan shouted as he punched the wall. Hee-young was still filled with anger.
"Yah, Hee-young what Nayeon said isn't true, right?" Suhyeok asked, as he moved closer to Hee-young, "You left the gang already right? It is all fake isn't it?" Hee-young looked at Suhyeok before pushing him away.
"It's true. All true. I hurt Lee Alice, landed her in the hospital. I still hang around with Gwinam. I still smoke. I still drink. I still did everything that I used to do," Hee-young shouted. Suhyeok shook his head.
"You and I left the same exa-"
"I didn't ok? I fake it," Hee-young blurted out, "I still get into fights with others..."
"Get out," Jimin screamed, "I can't handle a bully to stay here. Not even that guy!" Chang-Hoon rolled his eyes.
"I'll go but Chang-Hoon stays here," Hee-young said, opening the door. Suhyeok quickly held onto Hee-young's wrist, stopping her from going.
"We lost Isak, Minji and Ms Park already. I think that is enough of people dying," Suhyeok said.
"He's right. Plus, you after all safe Gyeongsu from Nayeon," Cheongsan said.
"No one is going to leave," Namra finally said, holding onto Hee-young's wrist, making Suhyeok's grip loosen. "If anyone is going to disagree, they will have to go through me first." Hee-young looked at Namra, Namra smiled. They all stopped arguing, it was completely quiet. Namra pulled Hee-young to the side, letting her seat, as she continued to hold onto her hand. 111Please respect copyright.PENANAQUAbQW9ghj
Chang-Hoon stood at the side with Suhyeok standing right next to him. "Yah, if I become one of them, tell Hee-young I love her," Chang-Hoon said. Suhyeok looked at him.111Please respect copyright.PENANAR4D9PJkB1L
"You like her?" Suhyeok asked, his heart beating really quickly. Chang-Hoon chuckled and shook his head.
"I'm her biological brother," Chang-Hoon chuckled, "Funny isn't it. Why would me and her get separated? My parents aren't rich. They could only raise one child. They wanted their own daughter to have a better life, since taking care of a guy is much more easier. There was this rich couple that wanted to adopt Hee-young, so my parents agreed."
"You are saying... She is your twin sister?!" Suhyeok said out of shock. Chang-Hoon nodded.
"What else do you think? I didn't want her to leave the gang. I wanted her to be with me, I wanted to protect like how a real brother would do," Chang-Hoon said, "Dad always come back home drunk, he really regrets it. I know mom always tries to be strong, I know her, she has been crying nearly every single day because of Hee-young. I promised them I would take Hee-young back to them. I guess I can't do it now." Suhyeok sighed.111Please respect copyright.PENANAyp1mW4Imgk
"I'll make sure the two of you will reunite. I will make sure of that," Suhyeok sighed as he pat Chang-Hoon's shoulder.
