"I don't hear anything. No screams. Maybe they are still alive," Cheongsan said.
"You sure you want a woman like Nayeon to survive?" Jimin asked. Cheongsan sighed, "Maybe Ms Park is alive then."
"Is that our fault that Ms Park decided to walk out?" Jimin asked.
"Yah, stop being a bitch. Honestly, you and Nayeon are the same," Hee-young grumbled.
"You have no saying in this. You are also one of the main reason they are gone," Jimin spat.
"Hey, watch your mouth will you?" Chang-Hoon spat as he looked at Jimin in disgust, "Yah, Hee-young, are your classmates nearly all a bitch?" Hee-young shrugged.
"Yah, who the fuck are you calling bitch? You are an asshole!" Jimin shouted back.
"Hey. I feel weird saying this, but-" Hee-young elbowed his stomach, making Suhyeok groan in pain.
"Then don't say it," Hee-young muttered.
"You didn't need to do that. You are making it even worser," Suhyeok said, holding onto his stomach, "Does anyone else have to go to the bathroom by any chance?"
"I do," Daesu confessed.
"We have to go, too, actually," Suhyeok said.
"But we can't go out," Cheongsan said.
"That's the thing. Do you think we don't know anything? Do you think we are that stupid till we don't even know that using a face recognition just to get an emergency call," Hee-young blurted out. Some held their giggles when they heard that.
"Why are you blaming me for this? Suhyeok brought it up. Pooping's not a crime," Daesu said.
"It's not a crime, but…"
"But what? Don't you need to go?" Daesu asked.
"Yes, I do. Not poop, but, you know…" Suhyeok's voice started to fade off.
"What about you?" Daesu asked Chang-Hoon who was sleeping.
"I don't need to," Chang-Hoon said.
"His body won't do anything YET," Hee-young said, emphasizing the 'yet'.
"Don't you need to go?" Daesu asked, turning to face Hyo-ryung.
"Why are you asking me?" Hyo-ryung questioned in annoyance.
"Why are you getting annoyed?" Daesu asked.
"What do you want from us? We can't go out, anyway," Hyo-ryung said. Daesu sighed.
"I have an idea. First… The girls and the guys will take turns," Daesu said.
"Where?" Daesu then pointed at the window side. Hee-young's eyes looked like it wanted to pop out for the first time.
"You're crazy," Hyo-ryung muttered.
"Stop it, man," Wujin said, sighing at Daesu's stupid suggestion.
"Why? The girls can wait in the other room, and the guys can just pee out the window," Daesu said innocently, demonstrating it to them.
"What about… poop?" Joon-yeong asked.
"Poop. Well… You can take off your pants and hang out the window. Like this. Outside. Like you're taking a dump at the edge of a cliff. Like this," Daesu said, demonstrating again.
"What is the kind of reaction is he hoping for?" Wujin asked. No one responded, Hee-young looked at him and shrugged, before lighting up a cigarette.
"Stop being ridiculous," Hyo-ryung said.
"I suspect that this two are in love with each other," Hee-young mumbled. Chang-Hoon and Suhyeok looked at the two before looking at Hee-young, thinking about what she said was very logical.
"But someone has to hold you, so you don't fall," Daesu said.
"Who's going to wipe your butt?" Hee-young blurted out. Everyone turned their heads at her. "What? Just stating facts. By the way, I am not going to help y'all that." Then she took another drag.
"I mean it is logical," Joon-yeong admitted.
"See, someone who thinks that I talk logic," Hee-young said, slightly smiling, having Joon-yeong, Suhyeok and Gyeongsu to blush a little.
"She is so cute," Gyeongsu whispered to Wujin and Cheongsan who just clearly ignored him. "Yah, give me some responses." Gyeongsu continued to look at the two.
"Uhh, not bad. The choice isn't that bad," Cheongsan confessed.
"I mean it is true though. She is very pretty," Wujin mumbled.
"Stop right there. Don't tell me you are going to be stealing her away from me... How dare you do that to your best friend," Gyeongsu whined, overreacting.
"What? You told us to give responses. This is my response. I am not lying," Wujin said in defence.
"Someone else should," Daesu said at the same time.
"What is he saying?" Hyo-ryung said.
"Let's just hold it. If the rescuers come-"
"It'll take a while for them to get here. It may be the same outside of the school." Hee-young sighed.
"I don't know how long we'll be stuck here, but my dad always told me to separate the bathroom from where you sleep if you find yourself stranded. Where will we create a bathroom and how?" Onjo said.
"Now I think there is actually someone who talks logical in your class," Chang-Hoon said. Hee-young shrugged before glaring at him.
"Are you implying that I don't talk logic?" Hee-young looked at him in disbelief.
"No I am not. What makes you think I will say that?" Chang-Hoon said, getting ready to defend himself.
"Namra and you guys, try to look for something to cover the window," Onjo ordered. Namra nodded her head and the girls went to help.
"Cheongsan and Joon-yeong, make something that can absorb urine and faeces to use as a toilet," Onjo continued. Hee-young and Chang-Hoon looked at each other and just shrugged, they probably don't have anything to do.
"And then the rest of you… A screen," Onjo said.
"A screen?!"
"Yes a screen to block," Onjo replied.
"Fuck it honestly," Hee-young said, as she walk towards the window, "What is the point of living? We won't survive for long anyways."
"Shut up. If I hear you speaking that again, I will make sure to throw you out of the building, feeding you to those zombie," Suhyeok threatens. Hee-young looked at him, slightly pouting. Suhyeok's cheeks immediately started to heat up. It has been so long he saw that cute face of hers.
Onjo looked like she was going to burst out in a few moment time. She looked at the two, they were so close to each other.
"Why don't you just stay inside?" Suhyeok shouted as Jimin groans.
"It isn't that bad," Daesu defended.
"If someone like Hee-young can't even stand it, it means it is very bad," Suhyeok said as he looks at Hee-young who was pinching her nose, breathing in the fresh air from outside.
"Just sit there," Hyo-ryung said, giving up hope.
"No one's coming here to save us," Namra said quietly.
"Why do you have to be so pessimistic?" Jimin questions.
"Don't you know my mom? She would've torn the school apart looking for me, but she isn't here yet," Namra stated.
"So, what do you want to do?" Jimin questions.
"She is stating facts," Hee-young said. Jimin glared at her before rolling her eyes.
"We should just wait and get help," Onjo said.
"There are lots of choppers flying around," Gyeongsu said as he continues to stare at Hee-young.
"Maybe it is just dark. It is night time so maybe they can't see us," Suhyeok stated.
"Ok, this guy has logic finally," Chang-Hoon said.
"You are an extra," Hee-young said
<><><NEXT DAY><><>
Suhyeok slowly opened his eyes, as he sees the light flashing through the window. He lightly groaned as he shifted his position a little, only to realise that his hands was touching something. He looked to his left and sees Hee-young, sleeping soundly. His hands were wrapped around her waist as Hee-young has her hand on his chest, gripping his shirt tightly.
He lightly smiled as he sees the girl sleeping soundly. He tuck her long fringe behind her ears as he continues to look at her. "I like you. I'm sorry about what I did," Suhyeok mumbled, carefully not waking her up. Then Hee-young lightly groaned, Suhyeok quickly closed his eyes. Hee-young's eyes fluttered opened as she looks around, realising that her hands were gripping Suhyeok's shirt, her cheeks starting to burn up. Suhyeok opened his eyes, realising that Hee-young was looking at him.
Unknowingly, they didn't realise that their classmates were already awake, staring at the two.
"Yah, stop looking at me," Suhyeok finally mumbled out.
"I am not. You are the one who has to stop staring at me," Hee-young whispered, "I know I am pretty. Don't need you to stare at me that much." Suhyeok's cheeks were burning up. She got to stop doing that to me, Suhyeok thought. Hee-young tilted her head to one side.
"Yah, stop scanning each others faces for the second time," Gyeongsu shouted. That was when they snapped out and stood up walking away from each other. Hee-young quickly took out her strawberry-mint gum flavour and place it in her mouth. Chang-Hoon quickly place his arms around Hee-young's shoulder, taking the gum packet away from her.
"What is with you and the boy of everyone's dreams?" Chang-Hoon asked. Hee-young glared at him.
"What do you mean by that? Are you interpreting that I am in love with him? Lee Suhyeok? My own childhood best? Why would I be in love with him? He probably likes Namra," Hee-young said looking outside. Chang-Hoon lightly scoffs as he looks at Suhyeok who was still having his cheeks very red.
"You sure?" Chang-Hoon said, looking at her. Hee-young looks like she was about to murder him.
"I am sure about that," Hee-young said, her mouth was saying that but she can't say the same for her heart. Her heart still was pumping really fast. She turned her head to look at Suhyeok before looking back outside quickly, it can't be that she liked him... Right?
Hee-young looked outside, tilting her head. She admit that she used to like Suhyeok but it was like a year ago, she dropped the love away already.
"They haven't come to find us yet," Cheongsan sighed.
"They'll come for us eventually," Onjo said.
"How long do we have to wait?" Jimin asked.
"Not any time soon, they will take longer. They might not even find us due to us being stuck over here in a room. They won't be able to see us," Hee-young mumbled.
"We can try to put up a sign," Onjo suggested.
"How?" Jimin asked, clearly not getting it.
"I remember my dad taught me a signal that's used internationally," Onjo continued. They looked at her in confuse.
"It was red and blue arranged together to create some sort of a pattern. Should we write "SOS" on a curtain, maybe?" Onjo said. Hee-young nodded her head, that was the only way for now.
"We can't last long, anyway. Three minutes without oxygen, three days without water, three weeks without food," Namra suddenly said, it was clearly true too.
"What's that?"
"How long a person can survive," Namra said.
"It's only been a day, you know. We have to try the best we can," Onjo said.
"We'll show signs of dehydration today. And we won't be able to move by tomorrow," Namra said.
"Are you saying we should go out, or... are you saying we'll die, anyway, so we shouldn't bother doing anything?" Jimin asked.
"I don't know," Namra muttered, a little bit stressed due to the pressure that Jimin was giving to her.
"Then don't say anything," Jimin spat.
"Yah, shut up will you. I don't feel like dealing with another bitch," Hee-young spat at her back.
"I think Prez is saying means we should think about anything else that we can do. Right?" Suhyeok said out loud.
"No," Namra said.
"No?"
"We don't know anything at all. We need to know something before we can make plans," Onjo said.
"Honestly, I get Namra meant. She is saying that we need food. So, we need to get food and water for us. On the other hand, we need a phone to contact the authorities. We can call... We can call my father. He probably can help us," Hee-young said, not wanting to mention her adoptive father.
"You sure Mr Lee would want to help even? He doesn't even bot-" Chang-Hoon got his leg kicked from Hee-young who was shutting him up.
"Where can we get the phone then?" Gyeongsu questions.
"The teachers office," Cheongsan quickly responded, snapping his fingers. Their faces wanted to lit up for one moment, however, it stopped after a few seconds.
"Stop being so stubborn. Two rooms across and one floor down at the teacher's office. You shouldn't go," Onjo said.
"If I can't make it, I'll come back," Cheongsan said, "Don't worry about me."
"I'm not worried about you, I am pissed," Onjo said as she looked at Cheongsan.
"Yeah... Why would you be worried of me," Cheongsan said, a slight jealous and mad tone was inside it. Hee-young looked at him, raising an eyebrow. Then Cheongsan went off.
"Suhyeok..." Onjo's voice trailed off as she sees Suhyeok climbing out too.
"I'll be back," Suhyeok smiled at her. He was just about to go till a voice stopped him.
"Yah. Lee Suhyeok. Don't die. I still have some things that I want to tell you," Hee-young said, looking at him. Suhyeok's cheeks slightly turned red.
"I won't. I also still have things to talk to you," Suhyeok said, before climbing out. Hee-young tried to keep her straight face but a smile crept out as she continue to look out.
"Bare-su has always been loyal to me," Daesu said, trying to climb out.
"You too?" Wujin gasped in disbelief.
"Stop. C'mon. Get down," Joon-yeong said.
"Why?" Daesu frowned.
"You can't go out there at your size, fatso," Wujin stated.
"My size?" Daesu looked puzzled.
"Are you serious?" Wujin said, groaning loudly.
"Fuck... I can't. Namra, what happens if he dies?" Hee-young panicked, "He is always like this, wanting to save his friends first."
"Youngiie ah, it's fine. No worries. He somehow always survives," Namra said, smiling. Chang-Hoon looked at the two girls, specifically at that one girl. The class president. The way she was smiling was making him blush. Butterflies in his stomach. Then it all stopped. His smile turned into a frown, she won't like him anyways. She won't like a bully.
"Why am I even worried about him? I pushed him away," Hee-young mumbled.
"Let me ask you. Do you feel like your heart will burst out when he is close to you? Do you have the urge to slap him when you are close to him? Do you have butterflies in your stomach when you see him sometimes," Namra asked. Hee-young thought to herself. She slowly nodded her head. "There it is. You like him."
Hee-young constantly blink as she looked at the class president who was smiling ear to ear. She shook her head as she looked at her feet, swinging front and back.
"I can't possibly like him," Hee-young said, placing her hands on her mouth, "He is my childhood best friend. I have long ditched that crush on him already."
"The cold girl is not cold already," Gyeongsu said, as he stares at her.
"Yah, you are in love. I get it. You are not the only one that wants her," Wujin said, as he also stares at the girl.
"Lucky for me brother-in-law, I already like someone that I won't have any competition with," Daesu said, gleefully.
"Yah, are you trying to say that my noona won't have any suitors other than you?" Wujin said, raising and eyebrow. Daesu nodded. Wujin went to hit his back.
"Yah, can you both stop bickering like old women? It is terribly funny and at the same time noisy to see and hear it," Hee-young shouted at them. Gyeongsu still showing a loving dovey eye at her, as if Hee-young was shooting some arrow at him. Love arrow.
"Suhyeok..." Daesu suddenly said as the door opened, revealing Suhyeok who looked dead. He quickly close the door and started panting.
"Where's Cheongsan?" Onjo asked, concerned to see that Cheongsan wasn't behind him.
"We got separated in the teacher's office. I'm sure he'll be fine," Suhyeok said.
"Yah, I told you to come back but I didn't say come back without Cheongsan," Hee-young said.
"Yah, what was I suppose to do? He was the one who insisted on me going off. I can't even pull him away," Suhyeok said.
"I'm killing you later," Hee-young muttered. Suhyeok blinked continuously.
"Onjo-ah... Sorry for coming back alone," Suhyeok muttered as he looked at Onjo with regret.
"You should be sorry," Hee-young grumbled.
"What do we do? On-jo and Cheong-san are really close," Hyo-ryung said, looking at Onjo.
"They're going out," Jimin blurted out.
"No, Onjo said they aren't," Hyo-ryung said.
"No they are," Jimin insisted.
"Really?!" Hyo-ryung gasped.
"Yah, stop gossiping," Hee-young suddenly said, standing behind the two girls, scaring them.
"Aish, yah, stop scaring us," Jimin shouted. Hee-young rolled her eyes before walking to Onjo.
"Onjo, don't worry. Cheongsan is well, fast. He won't get bitten that easily," Hee-young whispered to Onjo as she sat down beside her.
"Ever since we were kids, he's just never listened to me. I told him not to go, but, of course, he did," Onjo said quietly.
"I'm sorry I left him," Suhyeok apologised once again.
"Mate, how about we go to one corner and talk about life?" Chang-Hoon said, grabbing Suhyeok away from the girls.
"Onjo, relax ok?" Hee-young said as the two girls look at the guys, who were whispering.
"Suhyeok likes you isn't it," Onjo said. Hee-young looked at her in surprise.
"No. I highly doubt he likes me," Hee-young said.
"We have never hated you. We ever did. Even after Nayeon spread those bullying cases, we still treated you as part of the class. Nobody hates you, well maybe for Jimin and Nayeon, along with Hyo-ryung. But most of us don't," Onjo said, "Suhyeok tried many ways to get you back. He didn't give up. He was frowning a few days ago. Hee-young-ah, he likes you. Even though I like him, I can see he doesn't. Every single time you come into the classroom, he won't stop smiling."
Hee-young was too stunned to speak. She looked at Onjo before looking at Suhyeok who was somehow looking at her already. She quickly look back at Onjo as her eyes widen.
"Bullshit. I pushed him away. He won't like me back," Hee-young said.
"Continue lying to yourself. You'll understand it one day," Onjo said. The sound of the helicopter kept coming here and there. That's when Onjo suddenly remembered of something. "Joon-yeong. Didn't you mention that your science club made a drone?"
"Yeah. You want to look for Cheong-san with it?" Joon-yeong questions. Onjo nodded her head, "But it is in the Science lab."
"We can go get it," Onjo said.
"How would we get it? It's crawling with zombies out there," Joon-yeong looked out. It is true. The Science Lab is filled with zombies. Onjo pointed outside the window, the hose. "You want me to climb up using that? But there are zombies inside there."
"Not in the supply room," Onjo said.
"She got good eyes," Chang-Hoon said, finally done staring at Namra.
"Yah, will you stop making the most random comments," Hee-young said, smacking his back.
"Will the both of you just fucking shut up. Firstly, I still don't agree that we should have two bullies in here. Secondly, I don't think Chang-Hoon deserves to stay here. He is after all from another class," Jimin scoffs.
"Yah, he is from 2-2 not whatever dog. Also, if majority agrees for the people here agree that we should stay, we respect their decisions,' Hee-young calmly said. Her anger was on the verge of bursting out due to the ignorant Jimin. Not as if she is Park Jimin.
"Yah. You- You are freaking annoying. No wonder Nayeon and her sister, Lee Alice hates you so much, you are such a bitch. A bitch who is fucking cold and will only hang out with the most bastard guys," Jimin shouted back.
"Yah, mind your mouth," Chang-Hoon shouted.
"Yah, you have no saying in this. You are an outsider. Who are you to even interfere," Jimin shouted.
"Given that you are literally shouting at my sister. I should have the rights to interfere. And when I meant sister, it means biological sister," Chang-Hoon shouted, which made all of them in the room widen their eyes. Suhyeok looked at Hee-young who was in shock.
"What do you mean by that?" Hee-young asked, "I don't have a brother..."
"That is because you are adopted. Mom and dad couldn't afford to raise the both of us so they have you adopted. They wanted you to live a better life. When I found that your adopted parents were horrible, I told mom and dad immediately. They wanted to get you back but they didn't have enough to do so. You weren't born 3 months after me... You were born on the same day as me, just different timings where you are born 15 mins later than me," Chang-Hoon explained. There was only a moment of silence.
"Uhh, Onjo, let's get the drone," Joon-yeong said out loud when the situation was that tense.
"I'll follow," Suhyeok said.
"No you are not, you have already risk too many lives. You are not a bloody cat. Understood," Hee-young said sternly at him.
"She's right. You can't just be putting yourself into danger," Onjo agreed.
"I'm following you," Daesu said, ready to climb out of the window once again.
"You can't," Wujin said. The atmosphere finally changed from the tense air to a joking and sarcastic air.
"He can't" Gyeongsu chuckled.
"The rope won't hold you," Joon-yeong said.
"It was fine when I came down. But it'll snap if I climb up, right?" Daesu said logically.
"Yeah right," Wujin said.
"So it will snap," Daesu concluded.
"Right. Good boy," Wujin said as though he was taking care of some dog.
"He's not a dog you know," Hee-young muttered out. Joon-yeong and Onjo slowly climbed down to the science lab where the zombies were all sticking their bloody face all over the window. Soon they came back with the drone, with that Joon-yeong quickly set up the drone.
Suhyeok looked at Hee-young who was quiet since Chang-Hoon revealed her being his sister. He walked over next to her and place his hand beside hers, trying to just touch her hand. Hee-young immediately froze up as she felt his warm hands against hers. Suhyeok looked away as he went to slowly held onto Hee-young's pinkie. Her cold hands against his.
"Hee-young-ah, if I die, just run away from me. I don't want to see you seeing me turn," Suhyeok said. Hee-young continued to stay quiet, not speaking at al.
"Is it working?" Hyo-ryung asked as Joon-yeong successfully made the drone work.
"Holy crap. That thing's crazy fast," Daesu said, as though he never have seen it before.
"I'll take it outside after I find Cheong-san. If I find any rescuers out there, I'll land in front of them," Jeon-yeong. They all nodded their head, obviously they want to go out and get save by rescuers. However, they are probably all very dumb because will the rescuers save the students first or will they save themselves first.
"Wait hold on. Is that an arrow?" Wujin muttered as he sees one of the arrow stuck outside the wall.
"You're right. There is actually," Daesu said.
"My sister had a competition today," Wujin said, it felt as if there was dark music happening.
"It's Cheongsan!" Hee-young quickly looked at the drone screen as she sees Cheongsan looking kind of stupid looking around the room. 118Please respect copyright.PENANAW1ujT66IiX
"Hey Cheongsan!" Daesu shouted.
"He can't hear you," Joon-yeong said, speaking facts.
"What's he doing? Where's he doing?" Suhyeok asked.118Please respect copyright.PENANAQwthRfAbhU
"Look this way! Over here! Where are you going, you stupid moron?" Daesu shouted at the screen118Please respect copyright.PENANAtvE1siYCvO
"He can't hear you, Dae-su!" Joon-yeong said once again.118Please respect copyright.PENANA5W1xkEmptn
"Be quiet, will you? You're so damn loud," Wujin spat at him. Daesu looked down.118Please respect copyright.PENANABa4GbGvshs
"Fuck, we have to go get him now," Hee-young said as she looks outside the window. Namra held onto her wrist, stopping her from going.
"Don't be reckless," Namra said.
"Didn't you say the drone is low in battery," Suhyeok asked. Joon-yeong nodded and sighed.
"Let's check outside first," Onjo suggested. Joon-yeong nodded his head as he went to look at the outside, a place that was once full of bustling people became to a place full of bustling zombies.
"It's zombieland out there," Daesu said.
"Wait a minute," Jimin said.
"What is it?" Joon-yeong asked.
"Just wait" Jimin said as her breathe starts to shake. Hee-young looked at Jimin, something must've happened.
"What's wrong Jimin?" Hyo-ryung asked.
"Wait a minute. I-I can-can't," Jimin said as she started to sob, "That's my father's car."
"Which one?" Joon-yeong asked. Jimin pointed at the screen where there was a black car with two zombie inside it. "I'm sure there are a lot of black cars like that. Hold on let me check." That made it even more worser which made Jimin cried even more. 118Please respect copyright.PENANA1sGqOFwluX
"Wrong move buddy," Chang-Hoon said, patting Joon-yeong and Joon-yeong looked at him in confusion.
