We looked us up on the computer and read what it said. 'There are three types of mermaids. Oceanios, Sirens, and Aqualess.'
'Oceanios live in the water all their life. They are very shy, and never come up to the surface. They usually have gold tails. Oceanios mermaids also have gills.' "Well, we know that's not us. We're only mermaids when we're wet." said Sierra. "Yeah. besides, we come up to the surface. In fact, we're here right now!" We laughed, and started scrolling to the next paragraph. 'Sirens lure in sailors with their voices. They also try to steal Oceanios and Aqualess's powers, then get them to join their army. Sirens usually have black tails, but they can have legs when they want them.'
Sierra and I exchanged looks. 'We definitely arent Sirens." I stated, and Sierra nodded. "Yeah. We're going to have to watch out for them, though." We read on. "Aqualess mermaids have a tail, but only when they are wet. They are completely human when dry. They have powers, but unlike Oceanios and Sirens, they have no gills. Aqualess mermaids can have any colored tail.'
"That's us!!" we yelled. "What did you two say?" yelled Josh. Sierra gave me a nervous look. " We, uh, found a picture of us!" I yelled back. "Whatever you say, kiddo." Sierra gave a sigh of relief. "That was close." She said. We decided to look up the names of our powers. Apparently, Sierra had Hydro-cryokinesis, and I had hydro-thermokinesis. There were also other cool powers, like Dydrokinesis, Aerokinesis, Cryokinesis, Pyrokinesis, and Atomkinesis. "Wow.." Sierra chuckled. "All these big words." I smiled. "Yeah. But at least we got what we needed. C'mon, lets go."
