"What have you done?" Amaris stared at her in confusion, although the suffocating air said otherwise.
Hanako could not speak since the air around them only grew hotter and thicker with every passing second. The surrounding trees in the woods slowly began to die due to the intensity of Amaris' heat. Arlo fell unconscious after being unable to withstand her deadly heat. Amaris could not believe her eyes, she gave them numerous chances to follow the path destined for them both. Why did they disobey her? She tilted her head back while narrowing her golden glowing eyes.
"Answer me, now." Amaris hissed through gritted teeth as she kicked Hanako's side, which sent her flying across the woods.
She stepped on Arlo's head when she walked in the direction she sent Hanako in. No one could stop her rage. Iria had returned to the Abandoned realm, Laura had been forced to sleep, and neither Carter, nor Alice could face her. If only they had listened to her then she would not be like this. They were at fault for the rage that consumed every ounce of her being. Lost in her own thoughts, she did not realize Hanako used the last of her power to trap her in her dimension. There the twins, Alexander and Alexandra, met her upon feeling her rage hundreds of miles away. They began to fuse together to form a being capable enough to subdue Amaris. This caused Amaris to glare at them with a deranged expression. Their new form towered over her by two feet, they stared at her blankly in return. Alexander's face rested upon the back of their form's head while Alexandra's face stared at Amaris. They used one of their four arms to smash Amaris into the ground as if they were squashing an insect. Amaris lifted their hand as she climbed out of the crater. She still held onto their hand and spun in a circle before releasing them.
"DO NOT INTERFERE!" Amaris furiously roared in a distorted voice as her flames engulfed her body.
Alexandra opened her mouth, but Alexander's voice spoke, "You are breaking your agreement with Master Elam!" He boomed.
"I DO NOT CARE ABOUT ELAM! I DESIRE TO SEE HANAKO'S HEAD RESTING UPON A SILVER PLATTER!" Amaris roared again before charging at them at full speed.
They held their arms up to shield themselves from Amaris' powerful strike. She continuously punched their arms until one of them made a beautiful cracking sound. Alexandra cried out in pain when she broke both of her arms. Amaris grabbed Alexander's arms and pressed the soles of her feet against his chest before pulling until she dislocated his arms. Afterwards, she hit the palm of her hand against their chest and sent them flying once again. Their body rolled across the ground as their form came undone due to the several injuries caused by Amaris.
"Amaris."
Amaris whipped around only seeing red, "What the fuck do you want?" She sneered at Iria, who stared at her blankly.
"It is in the past, there is nothing more we can do than rely on our own fates to undo Hanako's mistake." Iria sighed while running a hand through her hair.
"THEY DISOBEYED ME! I WILL SLAUGHTER THEM ALL AND WAIT ANOTHER THOUSAND YEARS FOR A NEW BEING TO TAKE HER PLACE!" Amaris roared, her flames were only fueled by her frustration and rage.
"Amaris, return to the Academy and concern yourself with your own fate. I am as upset as you about this whole ordeal." Iria stated in a calm tone.
"I AM NOT UPSET! SHE MUST BE PUNISHED." Amaris screeched.
"And I agree, she must be punished. Now is not the time, she is severely injured, Laura needs to be reassessed, and you need to focus on the present and future." Iria said.
Amaris scoffed, "You are a worthless Earth god, I do not have to listen to you, nor anyone for that matter! I will do what must be done!" She growled with a deranged expression.
Iria groaned while running her hands down her face, "Amaris." Her tone became firm.
"What are you doing?" Amaris blinked, her flames were extinguished.
"Amaris."
"I command you to stop!" Amaris boomed when she realized Iria had learned about her only weakness.
"Amaris."
"STOP IT! YOU MUSTN'T—" Amaris yelled before Iria chanted her name for the third and final time.
Amaris felt herself being reset, her rage disappeared and her control returned to her. Amaris screamed in agony when her flames burned her from the inside. Iria watched her seize until she fell unconscious. Chanting Amaris' name three times lead to her being incapacitated as if she were being touched by Chanmi. Her flames, most likely Amari, would reprimand her by making her flames become unbearably painful until she collapsed. This would work only once per person, so Iria saved it for emergencies only. Amaris told her during her entrance exam when one of the Vita students used their gift to make her honest.
Hanako's dimension immediately collapsed as she regained conscious and her injuries healed themselves. She held her aching head while slowly standing up. Iria slapped her across the face after appearing before her without a single word. Hanako held her cheek with a deadly glare.
Iria stared at her in disgust, "This is nothing for what the Earth has in store for you. I advise you prepare yourself for your crimes as well as Arlo's. You shall carry the weight on your shoulders alone. Laura and Alice will receive their punishments when they return to the Abandoned realm." She turned sharply on her heel with her nose in the air.
"I will not become her dog!" Hanako sneered venomously.
Iria turned back around and quickly walked towards her, "Listen, you ungrateful brat," she grabbed her by her collar, "you will do as the Earth's says from here on out! Otherwise, you will bring an evil upon us all!" She snapped.
Hanako laughed dryly shoving Iria away from her, "I am not afraid of the Creator or Amaris! I will change my fate as should you, you worthless Goddess!" She yelled in frustration before disappearing.
