Regina grinned as she applied nail polish to ashylnn’s newly done nails as they chatted about different things and how the haunted house will be a success.
Ashylnn frowned after a while while her nails were drying and Regina was holding up a dress to her body showing ashylnn, “hey reggy...” ashylnn said catching her attention “yeah?” She replied setting down the dress and sitting on the bed next to her.
“Why did you join the council?” She asked, Regina smiled “because when you joined you looked like you were so happy...and like you fit in...I wanted to know how that felt and so I joined..” she explained.
Ashylnn sighed “I should’ve known...” she mumbled before smiling “if you felt left out you could’ve told me” she said. Regina chuckled sadly “I didn’t know how to...but now that I’m in the council with you...it makes me happy” she smiled.
Ashylnn sighed and smiled back “now. Tell me how cute this dress would be if I wore it to promm~ “ she practically sang. Ashylnn laughed “gorgeous absolutely gorgeous!” She grinned.
Ashylnn hummed along with the soundtrack of six while doing her daily run. Damon yawned sitting by the window of his room reading a book, he glanced out spotting ashylnn jogging down the street her golden-blonde hair billowing behind her as she ran.
He sighed knowing she was staying away from him for a reason but he didn’t fully know why all he had said was “I love you” and now she was avoiding him.
He groaned and put down his book grabbing his coat and sprinting out of the house trying to catch up with her, he inhaled before exhaling and grabbing her wrist.
Ashylnn’s eyes widened as she whipped around slapping him right in the face “ow...” he said, she stared frowning and wrenched her wrist from his hand. “What do you want?” She mumbled.
He frowned and let his hand drop “why are you avoiding me?” He asked, ashylnn frowned and looked away “I’m not.” She lied going to turn away.
“Where are you going? To avoid me again? For gods sake Ash! All I said was “I love you” and now your avoiding me for some un-god-known reason!” He shouted after her. She clenched her fists before whipping around tears forming in her eyes.
“You wouldn’t understand!” She yelled back before turning and running off, Damon stared “wait ashy!” He shouted trying to chase her but tripping and falling face first into the sidewalk. He growled and slammed his fist against the concrete

Ashylnn skidded to a stop out in a field farther into the country before falling down to her knees and tears poured from her eyes. Damon was going to far but he didn’t know, she inhaled shakily and exhaled before standing and walking to a falling apart barn.
She sighed and set her phone on a nearby banister and pressed played now way by six starting off slow with a gracefully sweep of her feet into a turn and when the song speed up she was stuck in the music and dance.
Damon huffed finally catching up his hands on his knees as he huffed and puffed out of breathe looking up and seeing ashylnn dancing her heart out along to the beat of “good for you” from Dear Evan Hansen.
She held in her breathe as the ending came and she did a double spin before ending on her knees. Ashylnn sighed as she walked into her house to see her dad and mom standing there. Her dad was Looking at his watch tapping his foot annoyed and her mom was biting her nails worried “hey...what’s wrong?” She asked.
Her mom and dad’s attention snapped to her before ashylnn was pulled into a tight hug, ashylnn stood there shocked “mom? What happened?” She asked again. Her mom looked her in the eyes “honeys...Gabe...he...he’s gone missing...” she mumbled.
Ashylnn’s eyes widened and she backed away her eyes filling with worry and shock.
“w-what...”
her mom frowned “he went to his friends last night...but he didn’t come home today like he said he was...so we called the friend he was staying with and...he wasn’t there...he said that he dropped him off at the station and then he stopped answering his phone...” her dad explained in despair.
Ashylnn stared “I-I have to go.” She grabbed her bag and ran out the door “ASHYLNN!” They yelled in union she could still tell her mother was crying.
Ashlynn ignored their yell and ran down the sidewalk as the light of day started to disappear and she jumped over a fence to someone’s backyard.
She choked on her own breathe and noticed the bell was gone from the rope and she frowned looking around for a rock. She spotted one and threw it at the window causing Damon to jump and drop his Shinai, he raised an eyebrow and walked over to the window seeing ashylnn standing there looking up. He met her eyes and frowned before turning away and grabbing his Sinai twirling it and practicing jabs in the air.
Another clank on the window and then ashylnn’s voice rang out “Damon! Please open the window!” She cried desperately. He sighed hesitantly before opening the window “what.” He snapped.
Ashylnn looked at him his kimono was off halfway the top hanging down at the sides revealing his upper half of his body. She frowned “the rope....please...?” She said in a pleading tone, he sighed and threw down the rope ladder before walking away from the window.
Ashylnn climbed up carefully and cautiously, before swinging her leg over the edge and hopping into his room. He was standing there with his arms crossed “what.” He asked, ashylnn looked at him and hugged him causing them to topple over slightly onto the ground and he stared as tears started to fall from her eyes.
“I’m sorry...I never meant to avoid you. I never meant to join the council I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry” she sobbed into his shoulder.
He stiffened before pulling her close in a sitting position hugging her “shhhh it’s okay. What happened? “ he asked. Ashylnn shook her head crying harder.
“He’s missing...” she choked out, Damon tensed “what? Who?” He asked urgently.
