Ashylnn hummed as she made her way to class her mood a bit brighter then usual for no reason maybe it because she was able to blow off Jake for once or maybe it was the kiss either way she didn’t know.
She slipped into the classroom and sat down before pulling out her journal to sketch out her daily drawing. She knew she shouldn’t be happy about the kiss seeing as she couldn’t be with Jake because of popularity reasons but it made her happy that she had someone who truly loved her and wasn’t just using her.
Class started and she continued to doodle not realizing she was drawing a portrait of Damon sweating after a long kendo practice. “Miss Meyers! Mind telling us one of Edgar Allen Poe’s famous poems?” The teacher asked, ashylnn snapped out of her trance and looked at her English teacher.
“Oh uh...The Raven” she answered with a smug look, the teacher smiled “thank you” he said turning to write on the board as she returned to her doodle.
After class ashylnn made her way to the council room where Jake was sitting in her seat leaned back calmly, he looked up from his phone and she stopped her smile wiped clean.
“Something happen with the athlete council again?” She asked, he shook his head “no I’m actually here to talk about something...with you...” he said locking eyes with her, she looked away avoiding his gaze hoping he couldn’t read what was going through her head at the time.
“I’m sorry uhm Jake I didn’t mean to blow you off last night I was just really busy...” she lied, he frowned and nodded “I understand” he replied. The room went quiet for a few minutes “Jake.” She spoke, he looked up from the ground before she hesitated “I-I...I want to break up...” she said.
His hand twitched and his eyes widened in shock “wait w-what...” he said confused, she frowned and looked away “I just...i got a job not to long ago and we wouldn’t be able to hang out much you know.” She answered nonchalantly.
He sighed “I understand...I’ll go then...” he said grabbing his bag and leaving the room just as Damon came in shooting a glare at him. Jake snarled like a dog and that’s when she realized it.
Damon was the opposite of Jake. Jake was a big gentle wolf who cared for anyone and Damon was a black panther ready to pounce on anyone who touched the one he loved they were complete opposites in a way but with some help they could get along.
“Oh hey Damon...what’s up?” She asked waving slightly, he shut the door locking it and looked at her with a sort of lustful glint in his eyes. He smiled “nothing just wanted to see you is all” he said, she blushed “o-oh...really?” She asked, he nodded and caressed her cheek gently.
“I sure would like to relive that kiss from last night” he said his tone full of lust. She blushed and bit her lip before he grabbed onto her lip with his teeth playfully, she closed her eyes as their lips locked together fitting like a bride in her dream form fitting dress.
Damon gripped her waist pulling her against him before a knock sounded on the door “hey ashylnn!” Hailee called from the door “if your in there will you unlock the door!” She shouted.
Ashlynn blushed pulling away from Damon before he ran over to the window opening it and going to jump out “see ya another time” he whispered before jumping.
Ashylnn snapped out of it and ran to the door opening it “oh sorry must’ve locked it on accident” she lied again before walking over to the window and glancing out.
“Why did you open the window?” She asked, ashylnn glanced at her “oh uh, breathing...I needed fresh air” she lied once more.
“Uh Huh...” she hummed before sitting at her desk “anyways let’s start on the banner!” She said clapping her hands together with excitement.
Regina grinned and so did Danielle as ashylnn got distracted by Damon leaning against the wall next to the window, she smiled slightly and then joined the others.
“So do you like anyone?” Hailee asked while they were on the very cliche topic of what boys they liked “I know you were dating Jake for a while there...” she finished.
Ashylnn blushed not knowing if Damon was still outside the window which of course he was.
“Uhm...not in particular why...” she fibbed. Hailee frowned “well that’s to bad” she fake pouted, “to be honest though hailee does ash seem like the type of girl to be crushing on boys though” Danielle insulted her.
Ashylnn growled “I will literally beat you upside the head with a bat like I did your boyfriend.” Danielle frowned solemnly along with Damon outside the window.
“Ashylnn...Damon and I aren’t dating anymore...” Danielle said, ashylnn stared in shock “wait really?” She asked.
“Yeah we broke up a couple days ago, which is a shame cause his dick sure was-“ “NOPE DONT WANNA HEAR IT!” Ashylnn cut her off and the others laughed.
“But don’t go getting any freak show ideas he’s still not the one for you.” Regina butt in.
Ashylnn frowned and nodded before glancing towards the window where ashylnn could see a sliver of Damon’s kimono blowing in the wind next to the window.
‘He must’ve just got finished with practice’ she thought.
“Hey guys care if I go home? We have been working on this for about 5 hours” ashylnn said her bag already on her shoulder.
“Sure”
“Yeah that’s cool with me”
“Go ahead.”
Ashylnn grinned before waving and then running from the room past the class rep who yelled at her like usual for running in the hallway which she ignored.
She skidded to a stop outside the school doors running right into Damon who was already there waiting for her, he smirked and wrapped his arms around her the kimono mixed with his normally cold body temperature soothing.
“That desperate to see me even though you don’t have a crush huh, interesting” he purred.
Ashylnn pulled away slapping his shoulder “we can’t be like this around the school. Especially since their still there they could see us” she said.
Damon smirked “so then you do like me” he hummed, ashylnn started waking “yeah I d- NO I DON’T” she started but fixed her sentence almost giving herself away.
Damon chuckled catching up to her “well then what do you think of me” he asked curiously as they walked, “I only think of you as a friend” she answered. Damon frowned before grabbing her wrist and pulling her under a cherry blossom tree the petals blowing off in the wind making the scenery like a scene out of a movie.
Their lips locked once more for only a split secound before he pulled away and his lips trailed to her ear “then how about I earn your love” he purred seductively.
Ashylnn blushed “we can’t...” she frowned, Damon smirked “then let’s keep it a secret...sneak around...get a taste of an adrenaline rush”
ashylnn hesitated but nodded with a smile.
