Sonya pulled out a chair for him. Aris was relieved to see Rachel enter the room as well. When everyone was seated and the door was closed with a gentle click and even boarded-up, both girls nodded towards Aris. He swallowed hard, figuring out where to start.
"Okay, now. We have discovered two wings. And I have a theory." He pulled down the wing from the hut, then returned to the Map Igloo. "We need more wings."
"Why is that?" Sonya asked
"Well, think about it," Aris said, attaching the wing to a vine attached to the roof of the hut. "We've discovered two wings in a span of three years. And then, a boy, me, arrived. Something's up. It could be our way out, an exit or entrance."
Sonya and Rachel exchanged glances. Sonya mumbled something incoherently, making notations on her paper, muttering under her breath. Aris began to sketch out the walls on the same paper, before thrusting down the pencil and examing the work. "There's more letters and numbers, much more, " Sonya said, realization seeming dawning on her. Aris nodded in agreement
"You're correct, I think. We just need more wings," she continued "Compare each day. We've been analyzing the Maze all wrong. We don't need to know the Wall movements, we need ade from the wing."
Aris glanced up, perplexed. Sonya handed him a paper. "We've been jotting down notes for years how the movements of the Walls, each day, when one rearranges itself, we note it down. But it's all in vain." She shifted the sheet. "Now, let's record it. Forty-five, a two, an one, three--wait, the code, it's going to be challenging to match everything togeher
-He settled down, fascinated by the way the Maze look and categorized. Sonya explained how each Walls were divided into numbers and so on. The "code" as she explained, told him could be the way out. Sonya rose to her feet, all in charge and in command again.

After her thirty-minute lecture, Aris had lunch in the Map Igloo while he studiously inspected the maps of the Walls and the code. He took a bite of his sandwich, chewing, his eyes glued on the papers. Rachel spoke to him from the kitchen. Do you see anything?
No, he said. But I'm enjoying our....handiwork and discovery. Aris smiled. I'm seeing a code...with the numbers, letters...they spell WICKED. At least one set of it does. He felt perplexed. Why would it spell wicked? Maybe they realized the Maze was just a matter of cruelty.
WICKED5478.
"Wicked? I've never seen that term," Sonya said. Aris's heart pounded, spying Rachel behind him. She narrowed her eyes. "WICKED, five, four, seven, eight? What's that supposed to mean?"
No one replied--not even with telepathy.
