Izlokrox's ships swarmed down on the panic-stricken natives. And as they shot aloft again, many an Asternoid ship carried a grappled native.
"Hmmm---" said Izlokrox. "We have captured only one hundred and forty-two slaves. Not enough. Fly on! We'll raid another island."
They approached Forgotten Island!
Two of their ships spied Alda and swooped down to capture her.
"Caramba! They're shooting magnets at me!" she declared.
They did not pause to tie her up. Instead they towed her along with them.
When they reached their base and saw the destruction, Izlokrox was in a rage.
"I know you were with him!" he shouted at Alda. "I shall destroy him---and I shall do so through you!"
