Looking at... yourself, the first thing you notice is your feet. Soft, dark grey fabric is covering - by the wiggling the appendage - a pair of toes on each foot. A bigger piece of fabric, in lighter shades of grey, is tied around your chest.
The next thing you notice is the fluffs of hair curling around your neck, ears, and head, in the same colour as your feet-fabric. It's dry and soft by now; you barely feel it touching your skin.
It doesn't seem... right, for some reason. Somehow, you just know that you looked different some time ago. You try to remember, but only shifting shapes in the darkness paint your mind. Something is missing, examining yourself this much has told you so.
The only parts of you that hold any amount of vibrancy you see is your chest and stomach, which has a thin layer of yellow fluff, and little pads on your hands and six fingers in the same colour. They're quite firm, yet squishy, and sometimes you couldn't help but squish them or play with your fluff as an activity.
In fact...
