It's been a year since I escaped that place… what was it again? Liber... Liberatio? Liberation? Well, who cares!

I was surfing in the open sea! Freedom is the best!!
In the past years, I’d been visiting many places that I read in the book
At some point I was climbing the Everest mountain at another point I was diving inside the sea
What? I’m only a thirteen years old child there’s no way I can visit those places alone? Well with a tweak a bit on my height, face, and my striking peach-colored hair and…. Ta-da! the adult version of Livia appeared, it’s only a visual illusion thought but… who cares at least I had fun!
I tasted the cakes! That was so damn delicious!! I wish I can eat that every day but there are too many things I wanted there’s no end to it, one year has passed but there’s still a long list of things that I wanted to do.
Yup this is what happened once a bird who lived her entire life inside the cage was released, luckily I had the information from miss J about the hidden World, I can kill monsters to get some money.
There’s an underground market or guild something like that, I’m sure they had been ripping me off my money from those monsters I killed, it was that kind of place in the first place, but I still get the money to get by, killing a monster was no big deal for me too, so I don’t really care about it.
As long they didn’t step out too much that is…
Today, I was surfing while looking for my target today… it was a Kraken! Do you believe that! It was a Kraken I’ve only read in the fantasy book and I’m going to meet it face to face today, woooooooo!
I can’t hide my excitement!
Before I only knew that Silent World around me was caused by my over-excess mana, but now I knew a more detailed explanation about it.
it actually soundwave or vibration when those kinds of sound waves approached me it accepted and reduced to zero by my mana, because of that only I can hear inside the Silent World and the reason why my hearing heightened so much that I can even hear the smallest soundwave inside the Silent World, the same principle applied as why I can hear right my ears right on the border of the Silent World range, any soundwave that touched my over excess mana accepted by me and reduced to zero

As for why my mana had this ability I didn’t know that much I can only guess that this is my mana special attribute, a human doesn’t have attributes as they can use all elements but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a specialty, the same as a baker can bake any kind of cakes but had one kind of cake which they did the best
Aaa~~ I want to eat cake again~~
Somehow I felt I really had a messed up personality now, but wait if I can think like this maybe I’m not that messed up? Like a crazy person would not think of themselves as crazy?
Anyway back to the topic, once I knew the real identity I didn’t need to enclose my over-excess mana inside me like before which is a bit dangerous… and of course for others, not me as I can easily control my mana
I just need tad a bit of tweaking here and there on the Silent World so that it doesn’t reduce to zero and Ta-dah! Silent World changed into the range where I wouldn’t miss anything, so I didn’t need to be afraid of ambush again. What a happy circumstance!
Hah! do you think I would say that! I suffered too much because of that!!
If it wasn’t because of Silent World I wouldn’t be sold out to some kind of freak! And I didn’t need to go through all those kinds of experiences, but maa~ those kinds of parents weren’t something I needed anyway, in the end, there’s only myself to blame, the coincidence of over-excess mana and this kind of attribute

I screamed in delight when another big wave come then…
“Oops! <Shield> and <High Jump>” I made a small piece of compacted air shield under and my foot and made a big jump from it

The next second tentacles emerged from inside the sea right under my position before, then the Kraken a giant octopus appeared on the surface of the sea, I smiled when I saw that. The Kraken looked around on the surface of the sea as if it was looking for something
Well it must be looking for its prey which is me
Then when the Kraken saw me stepping on the air shield in the air about 10 meters above the sea….
“groooooaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!” the Kraken roared right to my face
“whooaaaaa!!” I exclaimed in excitement that’s how Kraken's roar sounded!? it’s like the Giant Monster I faced in the past before and as the Kraken tentacles whipped and flashed approaching me at high speed.
“<Field>” I made a barrier around it big enough to enclose the Kraken right on the surface of the sea
“Grooooaaaaaawwwwww!!!” the Kraken roared again when it realized that he already caged inside the barrier

The Kraken whipped its tentacles to the barrier wall again and again trying to get out of the barrier, I looked at the Kraken struggled in amusement
“kukuhaha, you can’t escape anymore! Accept it!” then I thought of something
is this how those freaks looked at me inside the White room?
!!?? I stopped my thought immediately, Kuh! I’ll end it fast, it was then I realized
“hmm?” as if the Kraken understand my words it stopped whipping around with his tentacles when I thought so….
The small bit of seawater enclosed along the Kraken turned into the Kraken extra tentacles
*Bump *Splash *Pound *Bump *Bump *Splash *Pound…
The Kraken started to attack the barrier wall again with much more force than before
“phew~” I sighed in relief looking at the tentacles made out of seawater
I just didn’t want it to escape that I enclosed it inside the barrier like that, who would’ve thought that it become my advantage instead, just thinking it had inexhaustible seawater to make that kind of tentacles… it must be a pain to kill that thing, well I won’t lose anyway
“I’ll end your suffering”
“we the one who stepped on the path of providence, we the one who knew the truth of the World, thou the one who lead the path of providence, thou the one who judged between the truth and the false I, Livia Lacrimosa commanded, with thou hands, bring the punishment to this pitiful being of this false World <Judgement>!” then a streak of golden lightning sprite dropped down from the sky blinded the whole area
*boooooom
All that was left was… the now immovable black Kraken and the burnt smell lingering in the surrounding
Phew~, mission success! Time’s to back home…

Hmm?
Suddenly another tentacle spewed out from the sea trying to knock my body with it
“<Shield>”
*bang
A loud sound resounded at its contact with the shield, then at the same time another Kraken emerged from the sea
There’s two of it, it was outside of my range before so that I didn’t realize it
“haa~ sending yourself to death, you must have a bad brain, I’m bored, goodbye”
“<Field>” I made the same kind of barrier like the Kraken before, this time the Kraken has started to make the water tentacles unlike the first one, so there’s quite an amount of water tentacles around it
“then, we the one who stepped on… Aaaa! Troublesome! <Judgement>!” another streak of golden lightning sprite dropped down from the sky which resulted in the same way as before, maa~~ I didn’t need those kinds of chanting actually, I only do it to have fun.
I took out the Mana Stone and some part of its tentacles from both of the Kraken, then I burnt the Krakens carcass before I left the area.

I was surfing on the sea surface once again on my way back home because it’s not good for ordinary people to know about the Hidden World according to the unspoken rule, I stopped surfing and made an illusion as if I was swimming on the beach, actually I can just go to the place where there are no other people but it was bothersome for me.
“Noooo!! Somebody helpppp!!” it was then I heard a woman screaming as loud as she can on the side of the beach while pointing at the sea. “Heelppp!!” “Please help my daughter!!!” she screamed like her life was on the line
It attracted many others attention, but there’s nothing they can do to help her, it’s because her daughter on top of the swim float has gone too far from the shore and dragged by the sea waves, even an adult can’t help her, they need a boat to help her
“Haa~” I sighed when I saw that
“noo!! Pleaseeee!! Help!!” the woman cried for help again and again but no one moves no one able to move, she collapsed to her kneel because of that, with a tear-stained face she can only see her daughter slowly drift away. there are lifeguards on the beach who prepare the boat as fast as they can, the mother can only wait for that.
“oi! It’s getting closer!?” by one of the guests cried, everyone, started to focus on the child again
“you’re right!! She’s getting closer to us!” followed by another guest
“Celineeee!!!” the mother called the daughter by she didn’t face back to her, her daughter keep looking in the opposite direction.
“I’ll help you now!” someone confident with their swimming skill quickly swam toward the daughter when she near the shore enough not to get drifted by the sea waves again.
I heard all of that while pushing the child from behind, “shhh, don’t cry” I was pushing her once I heard the mother's scream, at first I don’t want to show myself, but the daughter who looks only about five years old keep bawling her eyes out. I’m afraid she’s too tired from crying so I showed myself to calm her down, that’s also the reason why the child keeps looking at the sea, she was staring right at me once she stopped crying, “good child, don’t tell anyone about me ok” I rubbed her cheeks “be careful next time” I said before I vanished from her sight.
She’s only a child no one will believe her even she said she saw someone become invisible like that. The other will only take it as a child’s imagination so it’s not a problem.
From far away I saw the mother and daughter pair hugged each other on the beach. “haaa~~” I sighed once again, this is not my first time helping others like this and I knew exactly the reason why I’m doing charity like this, I felt like I lost too many things from the things I experienced in the past, that’s why I’m doing something like this I wanted to prove to myself that there’s still some left inside of me…

A bell rang once I open the door of the tavern-like building, it was an old and dirty building from the outside but actually, the interior was good enough like a normal restaurant would be, this place is the underground guild branch on this Desstor City, this Desstor City is the place I’ve been using as my base for last past year. I said it's a base but I’ve only come here a few times it’s because I only used this Desstor City’s Underground guild to get money, this is also the only place where I touched the Hidden World.
After I get my money from here I spend my time on the secular World traveling around the World as I wished for, if it wasn’t because of financial problems I wouldn’t get in touch in the Hidden World too, Hidden World is just too convenient to get large money without any string at once unlike the Secular World, I don’t want to waste my time on trying to get money and it’s bothersome
I wore a robe with a hood that covered my entire head, these people are residents of the Hidden World, they can’t be deceived by illusion, so my actual height was viewed by them which is a thirteen years old child's height.
It’s not my first time so some of them must have seen me before, being a child in this kind of place is already unique itself, I think it’s hard for them to forget about me and added by my accomplishment of killing Rank B above Monster, except for a few people...
I stopped walking when someone blocked my way

“s-so what?!” the bandit looking man was surprised as some stranger knew about him being a newbie, and he feel ridiculed when I said that
Yea, I heard his conversation with his friend on the back table, that’s why I didn’t avoid his hand pulling my hood, even if I avoided he wouldn’t give up, caused he wanted to make his name known as a newbie. At the same time if I want to do something from him I need a reason for it, this place has no rule so it’s not like I will be punished even if I suddenly kill him here, but it’s not good to be tyrannical like that, we have respect for each other that can make this place run smoothly, that’s why I need a reason before messing with him.
“didn’t you know to respect each other and not to underestimate anyone in this kind of work?” I shrugged “Leave now and I’ll let you go” then I showed him a bit Mana to intimidate him

The battle ended one-sidedly, I won in a landslide, while the bandit looking man slumped on the ground without any injuries, I didn’t hurt him at all, at first I nullified every magic he threw at me and I pushed him back every time he tried to get near me until he was so irritated that he provoked me with CQC, like what I wanted, then I crushed him on CQC at that, the same as before I nullified his attack without counterattack and the result is… a grown adult almost beaten to tears slumped on the ground.
I didn’t have mercy for anyone who tried to cross me
After that, I went back to the receptionist and reported my job
“hmm?” the receptionist woman stared blankly at the Kraken Mana stones “there are two Mana stones?”
“un” I nodded “the second one appeared after I killed the first one, it attacked me so I killed it on the way”

the others inside the tavern started to buzz around, I don’t care about that

She’s not bad for a person in this line of work, she was quite a beauty herself, I’m sure she’s capable or had some background to be able to work in this kind of place without being disturbed by others.

Usually, she would be back at this moment, she’s taking her time today…
I looked at the mission request board while wasting my time, then I saw the poster I have always seen in this place since the first time I come, a wanted poster
“The Silent Witch” with my photo on it, it described with my peach-colored hair and the Silent World around me and there’s a bounty with so many zero to count, my hair was dyed using the secular world method without any mana, so I didn’t afraid even if someone can see through my illusion
I chuckled every time I saw that, they must set me as a witch, an embodiment of evil for other people take the request of hunting me
Let’s talk about the letter I left behind on that facility, with that letter I wanted them to believe that I escaped only on opportunity letting them have false hope, And the result was this wanted poster, Kuku serves your damn right!
It was then the receptionist woman back with another middle-aged man tagged along
“Miss Livia, this is your reward” she gave me a stack of banknotes
“oh? It was more than usual, did you guys stop ripping me off?” I asked teasingly, the receptionist woman's face froze at once
“haha, Miss Livia you’re joking” the middle-aged man who tagged alone replied to me while covered in a cold sweat, I can see he was very nervous
“well, I don’t care as long as you guys didn’t step too far” I shrugged as I warned them, he must have some kind intention with me that he showed himself like this “anyway are there any other mission? The same requirement”
“thank you, haha” the middle-aged man gave a peal of awkward laughter and pushed the receptionist woman to answer me before he went back to the room behind with a quick step.
The pushed woman looked at me awkwardly so I pushed her once again
“are there any missions? If there’s isn’t I’ll leave”
“ah, yes! Please wait miss Livia” she snapped out and quickly some kind of book under the counter “this! A request to kill Giant Lizard-Earth Dragon Rank A monster, the place was XXX”
“ok, I got it, I’ll go when I had time” then I left the underground guild

The next week I went to where the Earth Dragon is,
my heart was full of excitement, I wonder if it’s a mutated or a pure one, if it’s a mutated Lizard then there won’t be much different than the usual lizard but if it were a pure one it’s literally a Dragon like the one from the books!! I can’t help but get excited
I hope it’s a pure one, this will be my first time seeing a Dragon but when I arrived at the place told by the underground guild which should be where it’s nested,
There’s nothing in it…
It damped my mood by a lot

It was then…
“GROOOOOAAAHHHHHHH!!!” a roaring sound reverberated a bit away from this place
Nice! That’s how it should be
I quickly went to where the roaring sound come from, then I saw someone almost got eaten by the Earth Dragon

At the same time I stared at the Earth-Dragon Nah, it’s a mutated one, it’s only a Giant-Lizard with tougher body and earth affinity, I slumped in disappointment
The Giant Lizard charged at me, it only see me as a small fry a prey waiting to be eaten it didn’t see me as a threat at all
“goodbye” the Giant Lizard let its guard down and I didn’t have a will to play around by the disappointment too “<Shield>” I stopped it’s charged and gave it a gentle punch “<Echo> then <Resonance>” I added a few more punches
In the end, Magic that had a connection with sound become my specialty, I’m using vibration clashes to wreck the Giant Lizard’s organ.
“GROOOAAAAAHHHHHHH!!” it cried its last scream before falling to the ground.
Next, I went to the almost got eaten person “are you alright?” I released the barrier, and I saw a late-teenager, he must be only a bit older than me, he was handsome in the normal standard but I didn’t have even a bit interest in those kinds of relationship, so I only see him as someone with (at least it's not a face that hard to look at) kind of thinking.
