Paeris and Arbane stood as everyone within Wravalon remained silent for the first time in a long time. Arbane was a noticeably muscular individual, much like his sister. They both wore light armor shaded in a black color, much like the rest of the Dutai. The other similarity was their black braided hair which proved their resemblance even more.
Arbane held a weapon unlike any Kai had seen from his previous life before Faerlu, the weapon held a blade into the ground and a hilt that linked to another blade pointing into the other direction. Most of the people that knew of this weapon knew it as a Scova.

The brother and sister duo charged reactively; Kai could feel their anger begin to rise. Paeris swung one fist towards his face from the right during entry into Kais’ vicinity and as he went to swing his blade down, he noticed one blade of Arbanes’ Scova aiming towards his chest.

Quickly, he began to maneuver. As he rose his left blade to try to block the Scova Kai spun as well, trying his best to avoid the punch from Paeris. While his body turned to the left, the Scova scraped off Kais’ blade and instead of parrying the strike it led the tip of the Scova into the left shoulder of Kai. The blade of the Scova ripped out of his shoulder quite fast as he continued to spin away from where it had pierced.
Paeris’ strike had missed, but blood began to trickly down Kais’ arm as he prepared for the next strike. Arbane led this time, grabbing the nearest point of the hilt that was closest to the blade that struck Kai before dragging the other blade across the metal platform of Wravalon in a circle behind him and swinging it over head as if he held a giant axe of some sort.
This strike Kai managed to block just in time with his right blade, but this caused him to withstand a massive kick from the leg of Paeris against his stomach. The lack of attention to both opponents was apparent and those that were attacking him were noticing as well.

Kai was holding himself up on one knee after taking the kick which knocked the wind out of him. His right blade stood high still as it held back the Scova of Arbane. The crowd of Wravalon began to roar in excitement as they were eager to see the ending of this rebellion by Faerlus’ leader.

With as much force as he could muster, Kai shoved the end of the Scova he was defending directly up. This caused Arbanes arms to outstretch above his head and his body began to lean backwards as he tried to stop the momentum. During this, Kai spun on his knees and reached out his right blade, slicing the shins of Arbane. The crowd of Wravalon changed its tone and screams of ‘No’ could be heard throughout them.
A grunt came from Arbane as he had to put a hand to the ground to catch his self after obtaining his wound.

‘We have been through too much for it to end here, our whole lives we have fought.’ Paeris though to herself. ‘From being a part of the Factionless to making our lives through the Dusk Alliance, who is he to come from where we came from and to disrespect all of us like this? Because he had come from Catarei like we did, that’s why this is even happening to us now. We went from being praised to this brat showing up and ruining everything. Now Arbane is wounded, and he is to battle hungry to prove to those in the Dusk Alliance that we are not like this boy from his made-up Faction.’ Her thoughts finished.

Arbane charged, his shins showed blood leaking down to the tops of his feet as he ran. He spun the Scova above his head before swinging one end of it towards Kai, which he parried with his right blade.

‘My left arm won’t work properly,’ Kai thought to his self as his left arm dangled next to him while he gripped onto the sword, nonetheless.

Quickly Kai pushed the Scova blade back and tried entering with his own attack this time. A backslash, which he hoped would reach, barely cut the breast of Arbane as Kais’ enemy was taking a step back to try to avoid it. Once out of harm's way, Arbane took a step forward and lunged the Scova at Kai in a spear-like attempt. This time Kai met it barely, his sword pressed to his chest while the Scova scraped against it.
Pushing it outwards swung Arbanes right arm out as well, this left him fully vulnerable. Kai, who was already reaching to his left from pushing away the Scova, swung back across his body. The impact against the chest of Arbane was immediate, leaving a giant slice from the impact and causing the Dutai to catch his self with the back-end blade of the Scova to the ground.

Slowly he began to reach his left hand up as his body leaned back against the help of the Scova he held. Putting his hand in the stopping motion yet again, a tear began to fall from his sister's eye.

Arbane needs to just let me handle this, he’s always been in the way of letting me fight. Once Kai became close enough and the Scova was aimed towards his left once again, the Faerlu leader spun to his right while carrying his good arm and sword close to his chest. This caused a deflection of the Scova which followed up with the outstretched arm and sword of Kai, slashing Arbane once more across his chest. The Dutais’ weapon did not catch him this time as his body fell flat onto his back. Paeris stood, stunned like everyone else within Wravalon.
