Chapter 1
~Foxy’s POV~
Today was an early day in school, everything is good, besides one tiny thing...math. Math didnt like me, and I hated it, that is why my one friend Marissa is always there for me. “Yo, PSSST, Mars!!” I whispered to her beside me, she looked dazed “I need help, can you help me?” I ask with pleading eyes fixated on her.
“Or just do it for you?” She says finally out of her daze and smirking, taking my math paper and starting on it. Marissa is one of my best friends, we’ve known each other since we were just 5 or so. She helped me when times were horrible in life, you know what? She’s the best friend you could ask for, beside her boy problems anyway. “So what boy were you daydreaming about this time?” I ask, smirking at her but watching over her shoulder. “Wh-what?!” She whisper-yells at me, I laugh softly. “Mars, I know you, that far away look in your eyes, now tell who he is..”
“Fine...he's a guy I met...I love him” She says with a faraway look in her eyes. I laugh to myself a bit, Marissa hasn’t ever had good luck with boys so for her to say this is nothing new. “If you say so, well class is about to end, so i'm gonna pack up..” I say gathering my bag together, once the bell rings all my friends are hanging out by my locker, let's introduce everyone. We have Marissa who you just met, then Z, I've had a crush on him for a while. He acts like he likes me back but I don't know. Last but not least we have Jaden, he is a cool dude but obsessed with FNAF. Luckily math was my last hour before seminar and all of us are in Mr.Charles class. We walked in and sat down in our seats, Z kept taking looks at me for some reason, was something wrong? “U-uh, well how was everyone's day?” I am kinda nervous, the end of the day always gets me nervous because gym is my first hour so i get the urge to run throughout the day. “Mine was cool, me and the guys in the gym goofed again though..got week detention with em” Z says leaning back in his chair laughing to himself. “Oh..Well um- Mars how about you?” I ask before my jealousy can get to me. “I'm good, thanks, how about you Foxy?” She asks smiling
“Im-” I couldn't finish my sentence before the bell rang and the teacher started taking attendance. “Okay class, time for attendance.” She says clapping her hands together, i flinch a bit and put my headphones on to block out the noise. Soon everything was silent, I felt tapping on my shoulder and I took off the headphones. “Yeah?” I ask i turned it was Jaden,
“She’s about to call on you bro.” He says turning back.
“Okay, Preston Pierce?” She asks, I knew it was my name but I didn't answer. I refused to go by that name ever again, never again. “Is Preston Pierce here?” She asked once more, my face got red till i finally said “I-its Foxy ma’am i will no longer go by that name and you know it.” I say
“Oh..um, well sorry Foxy, i'll be sure to remember that next time.” She tries to smile at me but I look away and say “But you always forget, it's almost the end of the year..” I mumble to myself, I feel a hand rubbing my back. I looked back to Z trying to comfort me, I blush a bit and smile at him. Mars was looking at me in shock, she keeps missing school or gets called out during seminar so she’s not usually with us and didn't know. “Your name is Preston?!” She whisper-yells at me. I thought she would know that, i mean hanging with us and everything i think she would know my real name by now. “Uh, yeah?” I am kind of confused. “You haven't told me this!” She says turning away pouting to herself. I laughed to myself and went through the rest of Seminar listening to music till the bell rang and I ran out of there as fast as I could. I'm out the door 5 minutes before anyone can catch up with me so I climb one of the trees in the corners and sit there waiting for the rest of the gang to come out. When they finally do, they don't see me and look around a bit. I laugh to myself till I feel something pulling me out of the tree. I let out a little yelp before hitting what I think is the ground. “Wow hun, you're heavy for your speed.” I hear Z say, I blush in embarrassment, “Sorry..” I say back, getting off of him. He laughs at me and pulls me down again, I blush even more but he's holding me in place. “What's wrong?” He asks, smiling at me. I feel like I'm about to have a breakdown, my crush since 5th grade in my face. Right now. Holding me down. Am I in heaven or what?! “N-nothing” I say, laying my head on his chest, just trying to enjoy the moment while I can. He rubs my back slowly and I feel like falling asleep. Suddenly he rolls over to where he's on top of me and we’re looking in each other's eyes. He smiles and gets up and helps me up as well. I smile at him a bit and he hugs me, why all the affection all of the sudden? He hugs me and that's when it happened, after all these years of crushing on him and admiring him, he does it...He kissed me. My eyes went wide in surprise. He lets go of me and I stand there just wide eyed. He smiles at me and pats my head “Love you pup” He says winking and walking away leaving me standing by the tree. I shook out of the daze I was in and walked over to the group. “So what's everyone's plans for this afternoon?” I ask as everyone looks at me.
“Uh, I thought we could go to your house again.” Marissa says fidgeting with her fingers a bit, i knew something was up, was there something she wasn't telling me?
“Sure i guess, but what’s the catch Mars? You're fidgeting again..” I say, Mars usually fidgets when there's something she’s not telling us. Last time she fidgeted this bad it was about a guy. “Oh...umm...It's this..guy..I was wondering if you’d like to meet him.”
“Mars do you remember the last guy we met?” I ask, looking at her seriously. The last time she brought a guy to my house she got broken in so many ways. She spent most of her days and nights at my house crying, sometimes even throwing things. That's why everyone has always just talked about moving in with me, I just let everyone in no matter what. That is why I sleep on the couch, but I'm nocturnal anyway so I'm mostly asleep in the day besides when I'm at school so I try not to sleep during classes, Especially math. She kept looking at me with those pleading eyes till I finally agreed. Suddenly I hear a voice behind me “Hello Marissa” I jump and run behind Z looking at the person who scared me. Marissa, who was beside me before I ran, just full on slaps the dude with her drawing pad. She also turns to see the figure and starts apologizing a lot. “Oh my god, Fell, I'm so sorry!” She keeps saying till Jaden just covers her mouth. “Sorry for her, now Fell..i'm guessing, how do you know our tiny muffin- OUCH!” Jaden says till Mars bit him for the tiny muffin part.
“I'm not y’alls tiny muffin.” She says pouting, “I'm not ANYONE'S tiny muffin.” She says staring at Fell in particular.
“I didn’t call you tiny muffin Sweetheart” He said, his voice very deep. He walked to Marissa and hugged her. “Besides, It’s alright. You can’t hurt me even if you tried.”
“Shut up” She puffs, letting go of Fell and blushing. “A-anyways, this is...the guy.”
“This tall, red eyed, white hair and sharp teeth dude wearing mostly red and black?” Z said, pointing at Fell like he was an abomination. Marissa nodded while Fell just glared at him. “Ok, cool. So how did you meet M?”
“We just sorta bumped into each other at Grillby's and we kinda became friends then.” M said, but Fell was quietly laughing.
“Marissa, you full on ran into me while walking in there and we both fell to the ground. That’s more of crashing into each other then bumping into each other.” He said, putting his arm around M. She was blushing like mad. I actually never saw her this way before. Sure other guys she liked she was nervous around, but with Fell she couldn't even talk, let alone say things without stuttering. Fell sees this and this surprises me. He was blushing now too. He took his arm off of her and moved away just a bit.
“So...M was hoping you could come to my house and hang with us.”
“Yeah, I actually asked if that would be good and she said maybe.”
“Yeah, I mean I knew you might say yes, not because of him being a guy of course, but he’s like you foxy. Well, not you know what of course, but he’s a mons-” Fell covered M’s mouth, stopping her from talking. We all know once Marissa starts talking, she won’t stop saying things she shouldn’t. That’s why I always have Monster and Takis at home to bribe her to be quiet when this happens more than 5 times a day.
“Not yet…” I heard him whisper to M.
“What do you mean, ‘not yet?’” I say observing Fell a bit. He looks back at me, a bit of worry flashes on his face but only for a fraction of a second and he goes back to normal...He’s hiding something.
“Nothing, it’s nothing.”
“I hate liars” I say, starting to walk back to my house. I look back to see if they're following.
“Hey, I just don’t feel like telling you all yet. I don’t know if I can trust ya. It took me a while to tell Marissa.”
“Mars, you're still not off free for telling him my secret without my permission.” I say looking behind me at her, my eyes glowing a light red.
“I-I’m sorry…” She put her head down like she was gonna get yelled at.
“Mars,calm.,I'm not gonna yell. I'm just not gonna trust you for a bit. You know I love you sis.” I say walking back and touching her shoulder lightly, “Let's just get to my house before they kick us out.”
“K’ay!” She said, her bright smile back as she ran. I swear she is the whole life source of the group. She is like the kid of the group, that's why she is a part of everything, she keeps the group...alive. What makes it weird though is she is so alive and she has a very bad past and...other stuff like that. Most of the group has had a bad past, i don't know about Jaden but Z and I have a bad past we went through together.
“Mars! Wait up!!!” I yelled as I ran after her. I easily catch up to her and we talk and laugh along the way. Z comes up behind and grabs my hand and I stop talking and start madly blushing. Everyone laughs, everyone besides Fell anyway, and starts mocking us which makes me blush even more. Then I just see Fell disappear.
“Z...did you see that Fell guy disappear?” I ask him and look up, cause I'm short, and see Z frozen in pure shock. I looked at Mars and she seemed normal with it.
“Oh, he can do that.” She looks around to see if Fell’s around.” Don’t tell him I told ya...but he’s actually one of the monsters who came to the surface. He’s able to turn into a human and he likes no one to know unless he trusts them a lot. Just pretend like you don’t know”
“Mars, it was quite obvious, WHEN HE FREAKING TELEPORTED.”
“He meant to do that when no one was looking.” She turned around and looked at her phone, walking to my house.

Marissa’s POV

Well...this is kinda going according to plan. I mean they met Fell...but i don’t know if they like him or if he even trusts them one bit. I’m the one who made the plan for him to meet my friends and the first thing I did when he came was freaking smack him with my sketchbook like he was a spider. I felt so bad. Also it’s not like I was planning on telling him my feelings…
I look at my phone to see he texted me. He basically said that he teleported to Foxy’s place, waiting for us. I had to smile at that. Then I saw he asked if my friends saw him teleport. I lied to him saying they didn’t cause I didn’t hear “ WOW He turned invisible or HE JUST VANISHED”. I finally made it to Foxy’s. I saw Fell was sitting on the steps, just waiting and looking at his phone. I tried to sneak over to him but he knew I was there.
“Don’ you even think about it Sweetheart.” He said, looking up and putting his phone away. “You can’t scare me.”
“Coming from the guy who got scared of a kid dressed as a ghost for halloween.”
“We agreed not to talk about that day.”
“Ehh, sometimes memories need to be remembered.” I laugh as I sit down by him.
“Yeah, but not that one.” He whined. “ It makes me feel…”
“Like a Spooky Scary Skeleton~.” I laugh again at my own bad joke. I fell on my back because I was laughing so hard.
“I hate how I showed you that pun and you use it against me” He said,
“Yeah yeah whatever” I say as I see Foxy and them literally Naruto sprinting to the house.
“MARS!” I heard him yell as he ran to me. “ Fireball ju-” He tried to say before he fell on his face. I laughed more on the ground. This day just keeps getting better and better. Then Z runs up to him and yells “Healing jutsu” and Foxy leaps up wiping his face like nothing happened and keeps running.
“They’re weird.” Fell said as he got up. I saw him look at me on the ground. I swear I saw him blush as he helped me up. Well, basically picking me up.
“You get used to it. With us you can be yourself.” I said, trying to secretly tell Fell that he is safe.
“I guess so.” He said, just staring at me. I stared back, feeling my face heating up. I’m still in his arms.
“Mars, stop thinking about kissing your boyfriend and come hang with us before I freeze jutsu you!” Z yells smirking. Fell lets go of me quickly, his face red.
“H-he’s NOT my b-boyfriend!!!” I say, my stuttering coming back. I love Z, but he can be a jerk and an idiot sometimes. Yeah, he’s like a big brother I never had, but seriously I didn’t need him to call out what I...uhh nevermind that.
“Sure strawberry short cake.! Now come bully Jaden.”
“Oh you mean Spring Jeffy Jaden??”
“I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT TINY MUFFIN!!”
“AND I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME TINY MUFFIN! JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE OVER 6FT DOESN’T MEAN I’M SMALL”
“Uhh it kinda does Sweetheart.” I heard Fell say. Oh jeez.
“Oh shut up.”
“She says he aint her boyfriend but you see what he calls her.” I hear Z whisper to Foxy and Foxy coughs trying to hold back a laugh. I walk over to Z.
“I heard you~” I whisper. “ We call each other nicknames. He calls me that because no one has ever been nice or sweet to him. K’ay?” And maybe that he has a crush on me but I don't really know.
“M-mars...people don't randomly call people sweetheart...i mean..umm..nevermind” I hear Foxy say quietly but immediately shys away and backs up and trips over Jaden.
“Yeah...but I guess I really mean something to him. I mean I am the only human he met that doesn’t hate him or try to...ya know.” I do the stabbing motion from the Shining. “Ya get what I mean?”
“Yeah…” Foxy says trying to get up, but he seems lost in thought. Foxy is a great overthinker.
“Good.”
“What secrets are you weirdos telling over here?” I heard Fell say behind me.
“How Z might be gay.”
“Might be?!” Z says running over, “Im gay as gay can be! Im gay~” He starts singing.
“I can tell.” Fell said, smirking. I could tell he was trying to hold in laughter.
“Do you watch Zack Efron movies every Saturday?” I said, That's when Fell finally lost it and just burst out laughing.
“Yep! And normal self expression doesn't suit me either, that's why my degree is in musical theater! Im so gay man!” I laughed at Z finishing the song. I looked and Fell was just dying on the ground cause he was laughing so hard.
“Z...Why does Fell look like a flopping dead fish?” Foxy says like a child, oh lord...it's afternoon, 3 year old Foxy is coming out.
“Cause all of you are funny!” Fell managed to say. He got up, trying to steady himself by placing his hand on my shoulder.
“Sir, are you okay?” Foxy says walking up to him, Wow child Foxy is really coming out today.
“Yeah, I just haven’t laughed like that in a while.”
“Yeah, my puns that I make aren’t that good, even though he is the one that made me start saying them.”
“Just need to have good timing.”
“Marissa! Your puns are very humorous!” Foxy says jumping up and down.
“You bet. I am a purr-fesional.”
“Ok, that was actually good.” Fell admitted.
“Very punny, if i do say so myself” Z says joining in.
“Let’s go inside.” I said, wanting to sit on the couch and draw on my phone.
“YAAAY INSIDE!” Foxy says sprinting inside as Z chases him yelling at him to calm down, I feel bad Z has to babysit the child just because Foxy is just so exhausted by this time he becomes so hyper. I looked up at Fell to see he was still holding on to my shoulder.
“Uhh, are you sure you're ok?” I asked.
“Yeah...they are just..different..”
“We all are. That’s what makes me and my friends a family.” I smile at him.” And you're a part of that.”
“But they just met me”
“Well...you are a part of my family at least.” I say, blushing a bit. He smiled at me, his face turning a bit pink. He turns to me and holds my gaze for a moment. He leans down and kinda hugs me, “Thanks sweetheart, for everything.” I start blushing like crazy till Z bursts out the door holding Foxy back from whatever he was after, I just see him struggling. “Come on guys, before I explode because of pup here!”
“O-ok!” I say, trying to get out of Fell’s grip but he wouldn’t let me go.
“Promise me that you’ll never leave.” I heard him whisper. I look up at him in shock, but I smile and whisper back “I promise.” He lets go of me and patted my head.
“Thanks Sweetheart. What would I do without you?”
“ You would be-”
“I already know the pun you're going to say.”
“-BONELY”
“MARISSA I COULD SMELL THAT BAD PUN FROM HERE!” Jaden yells out the window.
“SO?!” I yell. Fell actually smiled and walked in the building. I followed him and walked into complete chaos, Z was trying to put Foxy to sleep and failing miserably. Jaden was trying to play FNAF and...failing miserably, he was literally screaming at Bonnie and Foxy for no apparent reason. I give Z a tea that actually makes Foxy sleep.
“Use this and Jaden” I look over to him” What FNAF game is it?”
“Four” Jaden says angrily as he starts back up, I see he is only on night 3.
“Make sure to keep turning back every 5 seconds to check the freddles and 3 for Chica and Bonnie. Foxy you can check every 20 minutes.
“...Okay...i'll try it.” Jaden says focusing back on the game. Foxy comes running out of his room, “I WILL NOT TAKE THAT DEMONIC LIQUID!” He yells down the stairs and stops by Jaden, Jaden was checking on Foxy in the game right then, “Thats me! Thats me!” Foxy says laughing.
“Foxy! If you drink the tea and sleep, I will do one thing for you. Your choice!!!”
“...Anything…?”
“Yes!” Foxy immediately calms down and walks up to his room drinking the tea, soon we hear his slight breathing as Z closes the door. I walk over to the couch and jump onto it, relaxing. Fell sits by me.
“You ok?”
“ I feel like I'm their mother.”
“I feel like i'm the father or bigger brother sometimes” Z says as he walks by with a lot of pain reliever in his hand. “But this is a problem..” He holds out his hand to show exactly how many there were, there was enough to fill two or three bottles.
“Whose are they?” I say, although I know I sometimes use those to get rid of my memories of the past.
“Found them in Foxy’s drawer..”
“Jeez,” Crap...he found mine. Z puts them in a plastic bag and puts them in his pocket before turning around and speaking once more. “What will we do about it? Knowing Foxy he is most likely to OD.”
“Yeah… I guess we watch him more carefully. I take that job “
“Okay, good luck in the afternoons.” Z said, as he went into the kitchen to get a drink. I sighed. I can’t believe he actually let me watch him. Foxy and I do that and we keep it a secret. I'm actually surprised Foxy lets me with how much he cares. I guess he just gets so down he just doesn't care anymore. I look at Fell and he is trying to read my face. Crap.
“How long has Foxy done that?”
“Uhh...i don’t know.” I tried to keep a poker face since Fell can tell if people are lying or not.
“You sure?
“I'm sure, this is my first time even hearing about this.” Fell kept looking at me. He finally sighed and scooted closer to me.
“You don’t have to lie to me Sweetheart.”
“I'm not lying…” I say looking up at him with innocent eyes.
“Yes you are Sweetie.”
“How so babe?”
“Uhh...w-well...” He started to blush madly and looked away. I knew it would work.” Your v-voice changes j-just a bit and… I-I don’t remember n-now.” He was stuttering a lot. I laugh and lay into him.
“You have a weakness~”
“N-now you s-shut up.” I laugh at him being flustered for a bit.
“Nah. I kinda like doing that to you.”
“Oh really~. What if I call you Cutie, Doll, Princess…” He leaned over and whispered to me,”...My Queen~” My face was burning. I put my hoodie over my head to hide my face.
“Y-y-you s-s-suck…”
“Payback” I felt him lay back, accepting his win. I fall asleep on his shoulder till I hear a yell coming from Foxy’s room “GET OUT!” was being repeated by Foxy
“What’s the yelling about?!” I said, sitting straight up as soon as I heard it. I look and Fell was still asleep then I realized I fell asleep on his shoulder. I get up and go to Foxy’s room, my face still red. I knock on his door and walk in, i see him huddled on his bed his head between his legs and hands over his ears. At this point he was almost in a slight whisper, “Get out, get out, get out.”
“Foxy…” I walk over and sit by him, wrapping my arms around him.” You're ok. Calm down.” I feel hot tears running down his face and falling onto my lap.
“M-marissa?” He asks like he couldn't tell I was there.
“Yeah, it’s me lil bro. I’m here. Nothings going to get you.” I tried to comfort him the best I could.
“T-the V-” He tries to finish but he yells in pain “GET OUT!”
“Foxy...It’s alright. Here.” I quickly grab his headphones and hook them up to my phone. I play a song I love and put them on his head.
“T-thanks..” He says calming down, “Sorry for waking you up” He leans on my shoulder.
“Don’t worry. You know I usually have trouble sleeping anyway. I’ll stay here with you, k’ay?”
“O-okay...please keep them away..i beg you..”
“I promise.”

Fell’s POV
I don’t know what to even do right now. I’m with Marissa’s friends who actually make me happy. I haven’t felt that way in a long time. I had a little bit of happiness spending time with only Marissa. She actually is my world. It’s actually funny how we met.
I was sitting at Grillby’s, thinking about my past in the Underground when Grillby came to me.
“Sans. You ok?” He asked me. I just looked up at him.
“I can’t do this anymore Grillbs. Every human and Monster I meet hates me. Every time I try to even make any kind of small talk they always think I am threatening them. I’m just done.”
“Sans…”
“I think I should go. At least I could say goodbye to paps.” I said as I got up and started to walk to the door.
“Fell, what about the soul string? You believe in that?” I froze when he said that. I’ve heard of that before. It’s when a monster finds their soulmate. The way you know is that it’s a thin pink string that wraps around the person's ring finger and your ring finger. I turned to look at Grillbs.
“ I’ll never find my soulmate.” I said as I turned back around, exiting Grillby’s. I walked down the city, just trying to remember where paps live to say I am doing him a favor when I got hit by someone, knocking us to the ground. I had opened my eyes cause I hit my head and looked at who ran into me. I was about to yell at them when I had seen it. The soul string wrapped around the person's finger. When I looked at the face it was the only person. The one I’m telling the past about. Marissa. She had looked at me, her face all worried.
“Oh my god, I am so sorry! I was in a hurry to get something for myself and wasn’t paying attention.”
“You're fine.” I had gotten up and walked over to her, offering my hand. “I’m Fell. You?” She took my hand and I helped her up. She looked at me and smiled.
“Marissa”
That is basically how we met. We talked for a bit and I gave her my number so we could talk and hang out again. We’ve been friends for like 2 years. It hurts me to act like I don’t like her but I have done for a while, but lately I haven’t been able to keep myself under control. Any bad pun or nickname she says to me makes me blush and whenever I look at her she looks beautiful every time.
Anyways. I woke up to see Jaden passed out on the floor with his computer open, Z at the table in the kitchen, and Foxy and Marissa nowhere to be seen. I got up and went to the table Z was at, he seemed focused on some paper in his hand. He seemed a bit stressed to be honest. “Yo, what's up?” I say trying to make conversation. Being here was awkward but like Marissa said, they are like her family. “Oh, hey Fell. Nothing much, just trying to figure something out.” He says patting a seat for me to sit down.
“And what’s that? How to get rid of the idiot president?” Z laughed and looked at me.
“I can see why Marissa brought you here. You’re funny”
“Yep, I have funny bones, they are quite humorous.”
“And that’s where it stops. You know where Marissa is?” He asks looking around the room and only seeing Jaden stirring to the sound of another jumpscare of his YouTube video. “Uh, no she was asleep on my shoulder till i woke up and she is just gone, maybe with Foxy or something.” I say looking around as well and see Foxy’s door open.
“Maybe. I still can’t believe that Foxy had those.” Z said. His voice sounded hurt and worried.
“Marissa acted weird when she found out, but yeah. What happened to even make him do that?”
“I do not know…” Z says he seems like he’s hiding something..
“Should we go check or wait a bit?” I say. Z turned to me, a smirk on his face.
“Why all protective of M?” He cooed. I flinched. I could feel my face trunking red.
“I-I’m not.”
“That stuttering says otherwise~.”
“You being over protective of Foxy, from what Marissa has said about you, proves you love him.”
“Me? Loving...him?....Umm..No…?” He says slightly blushing but looking up to Foxy’s room with a longing and guilty look.
“I can tell if people are lying to me or not. I read their facial expressions, their movements and emotions.” I said, sitting by him. “ You can tell me. I won’t tell anyone, not even Sweetheart.”
“Only if you tell the truth to me...do you have a crush on Mars?”
“Umm…” I look down,” Truth or actual truth? One of them you probably won’t believe.”
“..Fair enough...So..why'd you look down?”
“Cause it’s kinda embarrassing to talk about this...so anyways. Truth or actual truth about Marissa?”
“Actual truth…” Z says unsure of his answer but looks at me with full interest like he hasn't talked like this in a long while.
“Marissa is my soulmate. The love of my life. That’s why I'm so protective. So yes, I love her.”
“I knew it, the way you look at her...it's obvious.” He says calmly, he smiles slightly to himself but only for a fraction of a second before going back to his normal face.
“Is it really that obvious?!”
“I'm the only one that is observant, so to me yes. But to people like Jaden, no its not.”
“So...do you know if Marissa...ya know…”
“How can you not tell?! She is a freaking simp over you!” Z says laughing to himself.
“Well, it’s actually hard to read her cause she sometimes hides her emotions, especially about her past...and when I win at something like arm wrestling.” I smile at him. “So how much of a simp is she?” I ask, Z just bursts out laughing hysterically. He finally calms down, “Oh my goodness you have no idea, she loves you to death man...she can’t even focus long enough at school!”
“I don’t know if I should feel happy or embarrassed or scared.” I laughed.
“Honored...Just dont hurt our tiny muffin, or get ready for a bad tem…” Z says getting serious but making a pun.
“How do you know about those annoying, little temmies that always tried to steal our money in the under…” I stopped myself from saying anymore, but Z just stared at me.
“Oh, I used to buy some of their stuff for fun, they are funny creatures. So when they started actually talking to me with real words I started hanging with them till they stole my Kaneki wallet.”
“One of them is called Bob and he actually sent one of the Tems on fire and said there is no more Temmie, only bob. I got out of there quickly. Now they're back somehow.”
“ONLY BOB!” Jaden yells from the living room, Z jumps badly and huddles down behind the counter. I could hear him counting 1-10 over and over till he finally just breathed.
“You ok?” I asked, laughing at all of this. Z didn’t respond, he just sat there trying to breathe. Till finally, “Yeah, im fine” He says getting up slowly
“Good, now tell me about you and Foxy.” I said, helping him sit in the chair. He was about to speak when we heard people coming down stairs. I turned to see Marissa and Foxy walking down.
“Hey guys! What did we miss?” She asked, looking at us. Foxy flinched when she half yelled it.
“Pup!” Z says jumping over the counter and over to him hugging him tight like he hadn't seen him in years.
“H-hey Z.” Foxy hugged back. Marissa looked at me, came over and hugged me tight.
“Hey Fell. You ok?” She whispered.
“Yeah, im purr-fect”
“Good~.” She says hugging me back, i look over back to Z and he looks worried. Foxy looked exhausted in a way and just plain out mad or depressed.
“You ok Sweetheart? You seem really tired and...not yourself.” I whispered to her. I have to admit my heart was racing.
“Yeah, I'm fine, just stayed up with Foxy too late I guess.”
“Are you sure? I mean you’ve stayed up for a long time before but your actions never changed. You're acting a little different.”
“Im fi-” She tries to say but gets interrupted by high pitched whining. I looked over to Z and Foxy and there was a bright light going on and Z was in front of Foxy. Foxy peeks out this time with fox kind of ears, he seemed more shy and he was still whining a bit.
“What the heck?!” I screamed, letting go of Marissa. “Y-you're not a monster?! YOU'RE A FOX!”
“Mmm…” Foxy groans in pain, he looks at me with a look of confusion and a bit of anger. “Please, quiet down sir.” He says in a dark voice.
“Sorry…” I said, looking away.” I thought you were like me” I mumbled.
“Im sorry, I know how you feel for nobody to be like you.” Foxy says walking up to me. “It's hard, but that's why we’re a family here” He whispers to me and keeps walking to the couch.
“What do you mean like me?” I lie, trying to keep my secret of being a monster. “I’m a normal person.”
“Don’t lie to me bonehead...Your eyes aren't normal for starters...Neither are albinos normal..”
“Could be contacts. What if I didn't like my eye color and decided to forever wear colored contacts?” I try to sidetrack him, but it’s not working at all.
“There is no way that your teeth can be that sharp unless you filed them but that would hurt and be stupid. You know what? Whatever..just whatever” He says his expression disappearing and becoming less depressed.
“Fell…” I heard Marissa say. I look back at her. “Just tell them the truth. They won’t do anything bad.”
“Yeah, Jaden and Foxy won't,” Z said. I saw Marissa throw her sketchbook at him but he just dodged it. ”I was kidding!”
I looked at everyone. Maybe Marissa’s right. I mean Foxy is a hybrid and they are fine with him being that way. “Fine. I’m a monster. I am from the underground and I used to be the one who would judge each human of everything. I killed humans but they were all bad, especially one.”
“Cool.” Jaden says just shrugging, Foxy and Z smirk at each other and also shrug going on with what they were doing.’’
“All of you are ok with that?!”
“I mean yeah, we’re all different in some way, quite normal for us. Also..” They all looked at Marissa.Great.
“She told you already, didn’t she?”
“Yes, “ they all said, but Marissa stood there.
“No.” She said, trying to be innocent.
“It’s fine. Want to see...my monster form?” I asked. I saw Marissa’s eyes go big. She’s never seen me as a monster yet.
“YES!” Foxy says jumping up in his form and running over.
“Ok…” I said, turning into a skeleton. I looked at everyone and they were surprised. “What? Do I still look hot?” I asked, smiling.
“U-uh…” Marissa blushes madly but Z comes up behind her grabbing her jaw.
“Yesh Fell I think your hawt” Z says imitating Marissa's voice moving her jaw to the words.
“Z!” SHe yelled, grabbing his neck to put him in a headlock. He was laughing though while she did this.
“YOU KNOW IT TRU-'' Z tried to say but he was gagged by Jaden. Marissa looked up and gave a thumbs up at Jaden, smiling.
“Dangerous 2!”
“MY PRECIOUS!” Foxy says tackling Jaden and they roll around and play fighting on the ground. Z actually got out of the headlock and picked Marissa up, throwing her to me. I caught her and she looked at Z, giving him the finger till she realized she was in my arms.
“You look nice from here Marissa.” I said, not letting her go. She turned red and tried to get out.
“Fell, keep holding her. I know what she can do when she’s mad or embarrassed!”
“Should I tell Foxy what you say about him?!” She yelled. Z then turned red and ran into the other room. All of this happened because I turned into my monster form?!
“Whatd he say?” Foxy asks, obviously worried.
“NOTHING!” Z said, grabbing Foxy and dragging him away, ears covered.
“Fell...can ya put me down?” Marissa asked, her face all red.
“Oh uh..y-yeah sorry” I say, putting her down gently but quick. “By the way, what did Z actually say of the fox dude?”
“That he was going to ask him to be his boyfriend at the park today and that he absolutely loves him.” She said, arms crossed, her face still bright red.
“Sounds like he has a plan..” I say thinking about doing the same to her, but it's pointless. What is Z was wrong.
“Fell, you alright?” she asked.
“Yeah, just...thinking..” I say smiling down at her.
“About what? Turning back into your human form or about what happened earlier?”
“About you sweetheart..” I saw her turn red again.
“W-why me?!” She asks right as Foxy bursts through the door and runs to us,
“Just kiss him already!!” He says to her. He smiles at her like he had a plan.
“W-what?!”
“Come on! Do it..now! And I'll do you something in return!” He says smirking.
“B-but...what if he d-don’t.. I mean...uhh…”
“B-but you said anything…” He says looking at her with pleading eyes.
“Well i s-should have said with some things not allowed.”“But you didn't…” He says looking like he’s about to cry
She walked over to Foxy,” What if fell doesn’t want to kiss?” I hear her whisper.
” He does...just do it please…”
“B-but...Foxy...can we do it later...like during our little games?
“No! Better to do it while nobodies looking, less awkward..and I'll do anything in return.”
“OK, but one thing… how do i know you're not gonna look?!”
“I like how you two forgot I was here.” I said, smirking. They both jump and Foxy just runs out and says “Do it!” running back into the door Z was coming out and crashes into him sending both of them on top of eachother and Z closes the door with his foot.
“Jeez, foxy.” I heard Marissa whisper. She looked up at me, a nervous smile on her face. “ You didn’t hear anything...did you?”
“I heard everything. You really think I don’t want to kiss you?”
“W-well yeah. I mean you probably like someone else besides me an-” I didn’t let her finish cause I pulled her to me. I leaned in and kissed her. I heard her gasp, but she melted into the kiss. I broke the kiss, looking at her smiling. She had a shocked expression on her face. I laughed at this.
“Sweetheart, your expression is priceless!!”
“S-shut up.” She whispered. I laughed more and pulled her into a hug. “ I love you Marissa. Don’t you ever think otherwise.”
“I-I love you too Fell..” She says resting her head on my chest as I hug her close. We sit there for a bit till Foxy and Z bust through the door. Foxy was blushing so much and backing up fast. He was still in his fox form. “No No No Come back pup, we have to get ready for the park!” Z says, chasing him around the room. Foxy kept backing up, soon crashing on the couch protecting his face. “What does that have to do with my ears?!” Foxy says back.
“I want to pet them real quick! None of us have ever felt them!!”
“Should we help him?” I whispered to Marissa. I didn’t hear a response. I looked down to see her asleep, and she actually looked peaceful. I look and see Z and Foxy looking at us, Z giving me a thumbs up while Foxy is just jumping up and down. I quietly laughed to myself. Maybe being with them won’t be bad. This might actually be my new family.
