Every minute of the ride to the church Peter tried convince himself that it was all a nightmare. But nightmares don't involve seeing chard remains on your church's walls. Or a sign saying don't enter on the door. He had never seen anything like this before. 

The police said that a brick was thrown through the window and damaged a gas line. They were searching for the person who did it but that could take a while. Sarah held tight to his hand, How is this happening? What are we gonna do?" 

"I don't know honey, I have no idea."

It was the same drive everyday, Chase Young would drive the car that contained three of his children, Aiden, Baahir, and Gamal. While his wife dropped of his other three children, Lillie Anne, Henry and Jake. And assuming drop of wasn't busy, they would drive 40 minute drive to Denver, where they would each go from being parents of eight kids, two of whom were now adults and out of the house, and become renowned doctors. Chase was an oncologist and Amanda was a neurosurgeon at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Pueblo. 

Only today was going to be different, instead of having lunch with fellow doctors or his wife, he was going to drive the hour long ride to Denver to meet with his brother, Peter. It wasn't that they hated each other, they just didn't get along. Amanda and Peter's wife Sarah were sisters so there wasn't a close amount of privacy between the two families, Peter and Sarah had Rachel and Eve, who happened to be fraternal twins. 

Chase and Amanda had Maverick (Rickie) and Aleah, they were identical twins. Maverick worked with doctors without borders and Aleah, worked as a E.R Doctor in Washington D.C. After they both were born they waited at least eight years and they had Lillie Anne. she was sixteen now and about to start driving. Two years later, they were blessed with Henry. He was fourteen now and already showing athletic traits. 

After Henry was born they decided to wait a little bit before having kids, that turned out to be a very wise decision because Amanda and Sarah's dad had recently died leaving them New Beginnings Church in Colorado Springs. So they all went down to Colorado Springs to check out the church, he had been to that church many times, heck they were married in it. 

It was a nice sized building only the basement and the first floor. It was built by Amanda and Sarah's grandparents on a huge lot of land, the church was very popular for being such a small church. But Amanda wanted the church to be bigger so of course she starting contacting contractors to get their opinion on how to make it bigger. After that then they gradually added a second floor and began to add more rooms and walls. 

Of course, Amanda and Sarah didn't want a complete stranger to be the pastor of their parents church. So they managed college with rotating as pastors. That worked for a while but then Amanda graduated Medical School and by then they had Maverick and Aleah, so Sarah took over as Pastor. 

While over in Denver, Peter and Chase's parents also had a church so Peter took leadership of that church. The decision to adopt was truly an idea from God. The offer came from Amanda's mother, Clair. She come across an christian adoption agency and felt as if God wanted them to adopt. So they adopted Jake. 

A little over a year later, they got a call that a boy named Aiden was up for adoption. Baahir and Gamal were recently adopted from Africa as refugees. Their parents were gone and they were just sweet gifts from God. 

So as he made his way onto the highway he thought about what he was going to say, his father's church was destroyed. He looked up at the signs and turned into the exit, they were meeting at a cafe near the University.

He saw Peter and walked over, "Well, this is an interesting turn of events."
