Beth: "Another good morn'. I'll ask you again today 'Did you sleep well, Dani?'"
Dani: "Sure. Please untie me from this post. And, one cup of cold soup isn't enough."
Beth: "You mean you want less than one cup of soup a day for all your meals?"
Dani: "I apologize. Beth, since you're out of the shower can I take a shower too, please?"
Beth: "Instead you’ll polish my aching digits. Meanwhile, I'll tell a tale about me."
Dani: "That sounds great. I'm not being sarcastic. Anything about what makes you tick."
Beth: "The only response I want to hear is when I pause, you say, 'Don't stop.'"
Dani: "Sounds good, Beth. Let's light this candle."
Beth: "In between the wars, a musician moved from Yonkers to Paris."
Dani: “And I should be saying, 'Don't stop.'"
Beth: "After the Nazis took France, he started providing them with information."
Dani: "An American man collaborated with monsters who held scary racist ideas?"
Beth: "You see he enjoyed suffering. As a child he played the clarinet until-"
Dani: "Don't stop."
Beth: "His mouth bled. As an adult, he saw women..."
Dani: "Don't stop."
Beth: "Still, even if he offered female Yanks anything, none were willing to go as far as he wanted."
Dani: "Oh boy. To borrow a line 'It looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.'"
Beth: "Yet, he found women in France who weren't reluctant. Some of these Frenchies liked it."
Dani: "The midcentury modern equivalent of Borg Queen cosplayers I gather. Don't stop."
Beth: "Then, during the occupation the Nazis gave him a Swiss woman free of charge..."
Dani: "Don't stop."
Beth: "... so he gave the Nazis information about his acquaintances in the Resistance."
Dani: "Out of fear, I use a defense mechanism where I allude to stuff you can't even know."
Beth: "I was dispatched and turned him into a double agent. He started spying for Britain then."
Dani: "Can you stop the story please? I'll triple my enthusiasm for the manicure if you do."
Beth: "Once hostilities ended, he wasn't useful at all, so I got permission to beat him to death.”
