Dani: "Kayla, what's up? It's been so long since we've hung out together."
Kayla Goodman: "Awake, sleepy head? How long do you think it's been since we last talked?"
Dani: "Well, sure, it's 2010, and I apologize for losing touch in the last year or so."
Kayla: "Dani, to put it nicely, did you ingest something? It's 2007, and we talked yesterday."
Dani: "Seems I'm having a hard time concentrating and remembering a number of things."
Kayla: "Speak, Dani. Did you overdose and suffer brain damage? And who is your new friend?"
Dani: "Really sick I am, as Yoda would say. Funny that I can recall irrelevant Yoda speech."
Kayla: "Your friend said I shouldn't take you to a hospital. Are you having criminal problems?"
Dani: "I'm partially, mostly, returning to my senses. Still, what do mean by 'new friend'?"
Kayla: "Latina like me, or a Southeast Asian woman maybe. I don't know how to describe her."

Kayla: "She's more android than Indian."
Dani: "Kayla, knock it off. Why are you driving us to what looks like the ol' neighborhood?"
Kayla: "Your recently-acquired friend said I should drive you home so you can see your family."
Dani: "No! You have to stop the car! I can't interact with my parents. It's complicated."
Kayla: "Aurora said that you shouldn't interact with them. Just watch them through a window."
Dani: "Unfortunately, I don't understand."
Kayla: "Neither do I, Dani. Neither do I."
Dani: "I get it now. How bizarrely nice. Wait, hang on a sec. Aurora's not in the backseat?"
Kayla: "No, speaking of bizarre, I wouldn't let her in. She's watching over a boat near a park."
Dani: "We shouldn't leave Aurora alone. I don't think she can't handle herself at this time."
Kayla: "Is your new friend high-end Asperger's like my cousin? We'll get back to her in just a bit."
Dani: "Aurora's smart. You're right. I've changed my mind. She will be fine. I'm sure of it."
Kayla: "Remember your old tree fort we built in the third grade? Let's do reconnaissance there."
