Dani: "I found morbidly fascinating your story of undercover work during the war."
Beth: "I have a feeling you're going to ask me questions about my profession, my being a spy."
Dani: "Can you tell me how a person becomes a spy? It's up to you if you want to share."
Beth: "Well, you're completely accurate Dani. It's up to me if I want to shed some light."
Dani: "Of course, Beth. I mean, you look like you're in your forties. Yet, the war just ended."
Beth: "You're implying I'm old, but I'm not offended since I'm still effective."
Dani: "I've seen how intimidating you can be. A person's age is irrelevant for most things."
Beth: "I'm going to provide you with the bare bones account of my involvement."
Dani: "That sounds great. Do you want me to respond with 'Don't stop,' like last time?"
Beth: "It's not necessary, but if you're moved to do so, that would be acceptable behavior."
Dani: "Alrighty, Beth. Don't let me stop you."
Beth: "I was recruited by British Special Operations to help with the war effort when I was 19."
Dani: "While still a teenager? How can that be?"
Beth: "I gave clandestine assistance during the conflict called World War One."
Dani: "I get it. WW One, instead of WW Two. The previous war to end all wars. Don't stop."
Beth: "They wanted a woman who was physically, mentally, and emotionally fit."
Dani: "That makes sense."
Beth: "I grew up on a farm. I even knew how to break in horses and use a lasso."
Dani: "I'm following. Please go on."
Beth: "I was dispatched to seduce an aristocratic couple residing in the Ottoman Empire."
Dani: "Did you have like a bright-red-lipstick, eyes-aflutter, Jessica Rabbit vibe going on?"
Beth: "I provided them so-called entertainment. They provided me the Austrian order of battle."
Dani: "Honestly, that's crappy how they treated you. You probably felt like-"
Beth: "It's clear to me I will be better at creating 13 new Earths than the U.K. or U.S. ever will."
Dani: "About that. You've had it tough, but don't need to take it out on everyone, right?”
