Dani: "Aurora, why do you have blood on your knuckles and dress? Did you hit -"
Aurora: "Yes, C, the slave from the year 2088 we brought here. She would not listen to me."
Dani: "So then you hit her? That's sic. That is so kick-butt, Aurora."
Aurora: "It was only one punch to the nose."
Dani: "That took her out? Did you learn hand-to-hand combat while in the military?"
Aurora: "In the navy I was a codebreaker, Dani. I had training, but never resorted to violence."
Dani: "Let me know why you hit her. If it's she was just a pain in the rear, I understand."
Aurora: "I really regret what I did to her. C is out of her time and maybe not mentally well."
Dani: "Again, why did you end up hitting her? Right between the eyes, as they say."
Aurora: "She threatened to take the biological sample and rule over one of the parallel Earths."
Dani: "With Murakami's DNA? No, that's to undo things. That's not how the process works."
Aurora: "You will have to tell me someday - the mechanics behind everything."
Dani: "Yes, in case I become permanently incapacitated."
Aurora: "Oh my goodness. I cannot fully contemplate that potentiality too."
Dani: "Have faith that everything will work itself out, okay? I'm ill, yet I even believe that."
Aurora: "Dani, I am feeling a strong urge to row back to the shore..."
Dani: "That's a negative, Aurora Jones. We have to get further out to sea before starting -"
Aurora: "I have to do this. I would feel better if I apologized to C."
Dani: "No good. She may have even taken a risk and alerted the authorities. She's a freak."
Aurora: "Never have I struck a person in anger before."
Dani: "Okay, great. You can tell me all about it at our next stop in 1971's New York City."
Aurora: "There was a period in my life when I struck a boyfriend once. Out of love."
Dani: "Fascinating. I mean it. You need, though, to start the prime-numbers sequence."
Aurora: "It seems like a lifetime ago, and still it has only been a few years..."
Dani: "Aurora, snap out of it! Your mind is uncharacteristically drifting."
Aurora: "Sorry, you are correct, of course. I will concentrate. Two strokes port, three strokes -"
