"Wow, look at you such a genius." Alex said sarcastically, Void glared as he set two sticks with chicken on them above a fire.
"I'm going to strangle you" void deadpanned, Alex smirked and crossed his arms.
"Do it, I dare you"
Void stared before laughing, Alex joining in.
As they sat quietly and ate Void tossed his stick into the fire watching it turn black.
"So… How are we going to do this?" He questioned, Alex poked the fire with his stick.
"Well… I mean, we could lure him into the End. He plans on opening it anyways" he said, void frowned.
"Too risky"
Alex shrugged.
"What if… We kill him, but like how Endorria was transformed into a dragon we combine our magic and trap him as something else… ? " Void suggested.
Alex bit the inside of his cheek as he stabbed at the fire, steam rising from his skin.
"How would we even get near him though?"
"It's your castle, just walk in and kill him. "
Alex glared at Void.
"Right. A water king versus a fire king, let's see how that goes. " he said, Void shrugged.
"Water puts fire out"
"And fire vaporizes water, void. "
"So then you're easily matched," said Void, Alex groaned.
"No. "
Void frowned.
It was silent for a few minutes before Alex sat up straight his ears twitching "I think I have a idea"
"Oh?"
"Okay so, what if I challenge him to a duel, whoever wins rules Oceannia. While I'm fighting him, you can use a spell that takes his powers momentarily. While he's useless we can team up against him and trap him as his worst fear." He said, Void's eyes brightened.
"A monster"
"Exactly"
Void nodded thinking it over, "where am I going to find a spell like that?" He asked, Alex frowned.
"Maybe the gods book would have one?"
"That involves going back to where we started… " Void said, "that makes this a little more complicated" he stated.
Alex shook his head. "Not if I tell him we're dueling there instead of in an arena" he said, Void bit his lip.
"I don't know… it's seems risky"
"You say that about everything" Alex groaned, Void glared.
"Yeah, because I don't like blowing things to ash like you do"
"I do not blow things to ash" he snapped, Void smirked.
"Thats not the case when you fucked dove" Void said, Alex froze. Void cringed at his own words "sorry uncalled for" he said, Alex blinked.
"No, it's fine. I just… how did you know him and I fucked?" He questioned, void tensed.
"I'm going to sleep"
Alex stared in disbelief as Void bundled up in his wings "VOID" he said, Void chuckled.
"You creep," Alex hissed with a smirk.
Void sighed and let his eyes flutter shut, Alex laid back on the grass and did the same.

"Welcome back" Alex said as they swam to the castle of Oceannia, Void smiled.
"It hasn't changed much"
"Yeah"
Alex landed on the platform just outside of his old room, "wait up at the shore, when Sora agrees to the duel I'll come up and let you know" Alex said, Void nodded and swam back up as Alex pushed into the room.
Nostalgia hit him hard but he shook it off and changed into something more formal before trudging down to the office Sora had taken over.
He slammed the door open and Sora's head shot up a look of shock turning into something smug and sinister.
"Alex, is there something I can do for you?"
Alex rested a hand on his hip, thinking for a moment.
"Actually, yes. I've come with a proposal" he said, Sora cocked an eyebrow.
"Oh?"
"Tomorrow, we meet at spawn at approximately one o'clock for a duel. Whoever wins gets full control of Theorium. " he said, Sora thought for a moment before leaning forward against the desk.
"You know, if I didn't know any better. I'd say you were trying to get me killed. " Sora said, Alex weighed the words and shrugged.
"I mean… it's a duel, pretty self explanatory" he said, Sora chuckled.
"Fine. to the death. "
"Deal?"
"Deal"

Once Alex was gone Sora tapped his pen against the desk before standing and opening the door to see Jord in position to knock.
"Jord. I need your assistance"
Jord frowned "yes?"
"Does Alex have any weaknesses?"
Jord blinked.
"I'm not sure what you mean sir" he replied, Sora scowled.
"I'm asking if there is a way to kill Alex" he snapped, Jord sighed.
"Yes"
"Good, show me."

"He said yes?" Void questioned as soon as Alex surfaced, Alex grinned.
"Yep"
"Perfect, let's get going. We still have to find a way to summon the book" Void said, spreading his wings.
Alex nodded and removed his Trident from his back in one swift movement and twirled it.
"Let's go then"
Void nodded.
