"This is wonderful, thank you Alex" Void said placing the mask above his face, Alex smiled.
"It looks good" he said, Void chuckled.
"Y'know… you're a really good friend" Void said, Alex chuckled, washing the paint from his hands.
"So are you" he said, Void smiled.
"I'm serious. If you hadn't been there to pull me out of that situation I'd be as good as dead" void said, Alex frowned.
"Let's not talk about that anymore. Let's talk about something better, like the future. What do you envision happening in the future? " Alex asked, sitting with Void again.
Void smiled "I don't know. Maybe you and I part ways to create homes but still keep in contact? " he said, Alex smiled.
"Tell ya what. I envision people, new people staying here. Having fun and making friends and building kingdoms and relationships. I envision peace and happiness, sun shines and rainbows" he said with a slight chuckle, Void grinned.
"I like that better than my own idea"
Alex chuckled.
"How's your wings feel? " Alex asked, Void sighed.
"Better, not like they're on fire" he chuckled, Alex nodded.
"Wanna try walking again?"
Void nodded and Alex stood helping him up.
"You can do it I believe in you" Alex said, Void chuckled and nodded and then… took a step.
A step that would leave a mark on the world forever.
