"WOOOOHOOOO" Void cheered as he swooped around the sky in circles, Alex chuckled as he lunged a wheelbarrow of apples to the market place they had set up.
"Are you enjoying yourself up there? " he called, Void chuckled and landed flapping his wings gently.
Alex smirked fixing his tiny ponytail, Void smiled "they wouldn't have gotten better without you" he said, Alex grinned.
Even though they were still a little charred his feathers were growing back within a week and his leg had healed fully.
"I wasn't the only one who helped" he chuckled, Void smiled.
"Speaking of- what happened to Thila? "
Alex shrugged "probably looking for a place to settle down" he replied as he tossed Void an apple.
"Huh, do you think any others will join? " he questioned, Alex shrugged.
"If not, we might run into someone" he said, Void cocked an eyebrow.
"Explain? "
"You haven't noticed the fairly new things that we've found during our journey? There's gotta be other people here" he explained taking a bite from his apple, Void stared down at his.
"Maybe"
Alex shrugged "oh, by the way I was gonna head to another dimension for a bit to find out more about magiks, if you wanted to join you can '' Alex implied fixing the belt around his trousers.
"Sure, I'll join. Besides I think we need some clothes anyways" Void said with a grin, Alex chuckled.
"Good point"

As they walked through the portal in the tree Alex fidgeted with his satchel, the idea of going through a portal still new and a wound to him.
Void eyed Alex and frowned before placing a hand on Alex's shoulder "don't worry I'm here" Alex shivered and gave him a small smile before they exited into the portal hub.
"So where are we going? " Void asked, Alex eyed the portals before dodging a running kid.
"Ardell. It's a famous dimension specifically for it's intelligence and they have the largest library" he explained, Void raised an eyebrow.
"How do you know about this?"
"Thila"
"Oh"
Alex nodded and held out a hand to Void, "so we don't lose each other" he specified,Void nodded and took it.
As they walked they stayed silent, for they didn't know what exactly to talk about.
"Here" he said, Void looked away from another portal and followed Alex into a sparkling wine portal.
When they exited they entered a beautiful city built from glittering gold. 191Please respect copyright.PENANAxKXoh8bRps
"Wow" Void said, Alex frowned.
"Bit overkill on the gold"
"What do you mean?"
Alex shrugged, "Deja vu" he stated, Void blinked as Alex pushed open a large gold building the size of a castle.
"You coming?"
Void frowned "I was gonna look around" he said, Alex nodded.
"We'll meet back here before sun down"
Void nodded and Alex disappeared into the library, Void sighed and started to walk his wings gently dragging against the ground as he did.
Alex hummed as he thumbed through an aisle of books, he sighed.
He wasn't going to get through these before nightfall. This. Place was huge.
He cracked his neck and pulled a book from the shelf, as he read he scowled and put it back before something crashed in the next aisle.
He raised an eyebrow and ducked over into the aisle to see a young boy with curly hair rubbing his head, he groaned.
Alex blinked but made his way over, offering a hand he smiled. The boy looked up, his eyes were a pretty lilac color.
"You alright?" Alex asked, the boy took his hand and stood dusting off his pants.
"Yeah… yeah. I'm good" he said before looking back up at the books above him.
He looked back at Alex.
"I don't mean to be rude, but are you a fish?" Alex chuckled, annoyed at the question.
"I don't- know? That's kind of why I'm here" he said, the boy nodded slowly before a flower popped into his hand magically.
"Welcome to Ardell, I'm Florian" he said, Alex smiled and took the flower gently.
"Alex"
Florian grinned "what exactly are you looking for?" He asked, Alex tucked the flower behind his ear before shrugging.
"Anything about the place I'm staying" he replied not sure himself, Florian cocked his head to the side, his shoulder length curly hair following.
"Do you know the name?"
Alex shook his head, Florian hummed in thought for a moment.
"Anything descriptive?" He questioned, Alex shrugged before tensing.
"Actually. I have this" he said pulling the red fabric from his pocket, Florian took it and eyed it.
"This is-" he whipped around before running to a different section, Alex followed him.
"Hey! " he called after him, Florian turned, placing a finger to his lips as he gestured to the sign above.
He came to a stop slowly.
'Secret Archives'
Florian grabbed him by the shoulder and dragged him into the area, "this area is off limits, so keep it down" he said, Alex nodded as they walked silently.
"Do you work here?" Alex asked quietly, Florian smiled.
"Something like that, it's part time though. Until I can find a place to settle down, you know? " he said before pulling a book from a shelf.
"This is the book you need, it might help. It might not but I can guarantee it will at least give you a name" he said, Alex Nodded and took the book before sitting down at a table.
"If you need me, I'll be in there" he gestured to the side room that was dimly lit.
Alex opened the book and coughed when dust flew up into his face, this place was so dry and he was starting to get itchy.
The war of Theorium, a philosophy yet to be confirmed.
Alex scratched a set of scales.

Void chuckled as he dodged the festival that was happening, people danced and laughed along to music he'd never heard before.
He grinned as he made his way to a market stand.
"Hey there lad, looking to buy anything?" The merchant asked, Void smiled.
"Uh, yes. Do you have any clothes for sale? Normal ones at least? " he asked, The merchant held a finger up and started to dig through his things before pulling out a light purple and dark blue tunic and brown trousers.
"This is all I got, if you'd like something that's more fitted and suited to your style we have a seamstress down the road" he said, Void nodded handing him some good, the man's eyes sparkled.
"Pleasure doing business with ya" void said shoving the clothes In his bag, The man grinned and nodded.
As Void turned to leave he ran right into someone holding a basket of berries, they gasped and the basket fell.
He dropped down instantly to help them.
"I'm so sorry!" They exclaimed, Void chuckled and handed them a handful of berries locking eyes with them. He tensed when they tensed and it went silent around them.
They were short compared to him, with blue fluffy hair and bright green eyes that sparkled like emeralds. They wore a grey tunic with pants and boots that fit them like a glove but weren't too tight.
He blushed and chuckled. "It-it's fine, I'm Void" he said, the person smiled.
"Im-"
"Katie, stop bothering the poor kid. We got work to do" the merchant said. Void dropped the last batch of berries in the basket and they nodded.
"Right" as they stood, Void smiled and they returned it before taking the basket to the stand. Void watched after them before shaking his head and disappearing into the crowd of people.
An orb sat in the cave as dark as night glowing brilliant hues of colors, it held the balance of all things in Theorium, for if it broke it would cause a plague to sweep through the land. If lost, lives would be lost.
Alex stared at the book before gripping his hair in frustration. "Dammit." He snapped. Florian popped his head out of the room, a pot of peonies in his hands.
"Something wrong?"
Alex sighed, gesturing for him to come over, Florian sat the pot down and joined him reading the paragraph.
"Ah, lemme guess that's exactly what happened? " he asked, Alex nodded. Florian frowned "well, I would say read the prophecy, but anyone who does read it will die, or lose someone they love. Whether it's family, friends… A special someone" he shrugged.
Alex glared "I've already lost all that"
"I see… " Florian sighed. "Tell ya what, I vaguely remember you being a part of it, that and 13 different kingdoms" he said, Alex's head shot up.
"13 kingdoms? "
Florian nodded and sat down with him, "yeah, Theorium used to be famous for its peace and kingdoms, that is until a war happened. People from all over would visit, and then the war happened and it went abandoned. I bet the kingdoms are still there, they just need to be fixed up a little. " he said, Alex stared.
"How?" He asked, Florian chuckled.
"Well, first you need to fix that orb. Can't rebuild something ruined without balance, otherwise it'll teeter to one side and fall to its doom." He said, Alex blinked.
"Do you have it? " he asked, Alex shook his head in denial, Florian smirked.
"Well, I have the perfect thing but we need to be in your world. And we need a good spot to do it. “ Alex looked at the book before sighing.
"What time is it?"
"Almost sundown. "
"We'll leave then" he said, Florian nodded and patted the table gently.
"I was wondering… if you find these kingdoms, what will you do? I mean you're the only one there right? " he asked, Alex shrugged.
"My friend and I are there, and some mushroom healer named Thila" he said, Florian stiffened.
"What?" Alex asked, Florian sighed.
"Nothing, it's just weird how there is already a divine there. " he said, Alex raised an eyebrow and closed the book gently.
"Divine?"
Florian nodded.
"In all the dimensions there's a hierarchy of God's, well unless you're from a dimension that's way in the future. " he said, Alex rested his chin on his hand.
"It's like a pyramid, the top are the supremities, a god council. They watch over everything and make sure everything is in check, then there's the Watchdogs, they basically do whatever the council says. Then the divine, normal people with powers based on their hometown. And then mortals. There used to be a group above the supremities but they broke apart after something corrupted one of the gods and they went berserk" he explained, Alex stared.
"Interesting. So, Thila is divine? " he questioned, Florian shrugged.
"Sounds like it, if she's a mushroom healer she's most likely from Shroomrisn. Their rivals to my homeland. '' he said, Alex nodded.
"Your hometown?"
"Florintine, it's a dimension for people who make flowers, we mess with fertilizers, grow flowers, make dye from the flowers all that. We're good with herbs as well, that's where the rivalry starts. " he said, Alex nodded.
"Because Shroomrisn messes with herbs and fungi, I'm guessing? "
Florian burst into a grin.
"You catch on quick" he said, Alex smiled embarrassed.
Florian chuckled and stood swinging a satchel over his shoulder before grabbing a separate book.
"We should get going," Alex nodded and stood.
As they walked outside Void landed gently on the ground in front of them, his feathers were almost all back.
"Ready? " Void asked, Alex nodded.
"Yup"
"Who's this? ``Void asked, Florian chuckled.
"Florian. Nice to meet you" he said, Void nodded with a small smile.
"Let's get going" Alex said, stepping through the portal, Void nodded, stepping through after and then Florian followed behind.
