Alex sighed softly as he sat in Dove's old bakery, it was empty and the furniture was covered.
As Alex opened the door to the entrance he walked out and frowned, his people were depressed and slow.
He went to walk away when he ran into the blonde he had met when he first showed up. The girl who gave him the Trident.
"Oh my- I'm so sorry" she gasped, picking up the coral she had dropped, Alex smiled and handed her a pink one.
"You're alright" he said, she looked up and smiled.
"I've never seen you around before…" she said with a small smile her waves hair surrounded her, Alex smiled.
Right, she wouldn't recognize him because of his hair.
"I'm Alex.. " he responded, her eyes widened.
"I- oh my- I'm sorry heh, I'm Loralie" she said her voice suddenly going quiet, Alex raised an eyebrow.
"Is something wrong?"
She shook her head with a small smile "no, it's just. You've been missing for a month and when you show up you declare to marry me. " She said, '' He froze.
"Wait, you're the daughter?"
She nodded and he chuckled.
He sighed and looked her in the eyes. "I apologize for the abruptness… Trust me, I hate arranged marriages. But-"
"It's for the good of the kingdom, it's understandable don't worry, I just hope we can be friends. " she cut him off.
Alex smiled.
"Of course"

Alex chuckled as Loralie twirled and handed him a piece of cake with a curtsy, she smiled and he took the cake.
"Thank you"
She grinned "anything for my future husband" she teased, he laughed so did she. "So, even if we do get married, what does it make our relationship? I mean we just met" she said, Alex took a bite of his cake.
"Just think of me as your friend. Others will see us as a couple but the us were friends" he said, she smiled.
"I like that idea"
"I do too" he said, as they walked they joked and played before they made it to Loralie's home. It was large and extravagant, he bowed gently and she smiled.
"I'll see you again, shall I? "
She giggled "ooo~ so formal" he smirked and she disappeared into the house.

Alex hummed as he flipped through the papers in his small bunker not too far from the kingdom, he took a bite of toast as a piece of paper fell from the stack. He cocked an eyebrow and picked it up off the ground,
It was old and cracked but the ink looked brand new, freshly written. It was a series of numbers…a location. He frowned and flipped it to look at the back before tossing it to the desk, he grabbed his journal and a pen and flopped down into his bed.
The candles around him flickered gently as he wrote when a dolphin squealed outside, he looked up and spotted the dolphin sitting out by the door. He hopped up and went over to see a roll around the sea animal's neck, he undid it and then tossed a small fish towards the dolphin. She squealed happily and caught it before swimming off.
He kicked the door shut and ran his finger over the edge of the cylinder, it popped open.
Inside it held a parchment, a flower, and a pin.
He dropped into the chair next to the door and picked up the pin.
It was a broach, it was silver and circular with a dolphin in the middle and a diamond for its eye. He set it to the side and picked the parchment from the cylinder.
He unrolled it and started to read.

Alex,
I know by now me getting ahold of you is maybe a little hypocritical, but this is an emergency. I dont know whats going on with you but right now i need you to come to Flora for a meeting with the other kingdoms.
We’ll discuss the issue there, wear the pin so as to not get rejected and accept my flower as a token of apology and peace.

Alex turned the flower by its stem between his smooth manicured fingers, it was a Lily of the Valley. A smile tugged at his lips as he placed in a case full of roses next to him, he looked back and eyes the pin.
As he flipped it in his hands he let his mind wander before he came swimming back to reality.
A meeting with the kingdoms.
He had met a few of the kingdom's rulers but never bothered to keep in touch unless it was Florian or Void.
He sighed knowing the meeting was probably the best way to get out of the chaos in his own kingdom and a way to make amends with Void.
He pinned it gently to his baby blue tunic blouse and pulled his black boots over top of his Navy slacks. He wasn't sure how formal he needed to be so he threw a silver scarf around his waist and tied it into a small bow before braiding his hair.
He looked at his reflection and frowned.
He might need a haircut now that his hair is returning to its normal shade of black.
It made sense now how Ren was his shadow. He always did feel empty like something was missing.
Now he knew. He knew that even when they were in ploriian Ren was the only reason he hadn't broken down and lost all emotion because Ren was his emotions.
Ren was his emotions, his memories, his soul… while without him Alex was an empty shell. I mean he could still feel, but not as intensely as normal people do.
He fidgeted with his earrings before shaking his head and leaving the small room in his base.
He grabbed a satchel and slung it over his shoulder before he froze, he frowned and stared into his room where the lily sat alone amongst the roses. He returned to the room and removed it before placing it behind his ear, if he saw Florian he'd have him cha get it to a small flower crown.
He sighed and went to the door, pushing it open he glided out and snapped a finger. The door shut and his Trident appeared in hand.
He pulled his arm back and threw it, seconds later he was on the shoreline making his way to Flora.
