Aurora: "You want facts? Wait, while I lower myself... Now listen, I will stipulate to some facts.
I have just come from a meeting with a novelist named Ursula K. Le Guin. She was friendly and accommodating. She provided me with a biological sample from her stomach region.
Regardless, I asked you for a sample from an area on your chest and you said that you wanted $1,000.00 for the inconvenience of this request. Well, the woman I am traveling with was correct. She had said that you would likely ask for nothing less than $1,000.00 in compensation.
Until recently, my colleague and I would have had the ability to pay you that sum of money. However, the problem began when I was meeting with this other novelist earlier, my partner paid a female hotel concierge to go out and buy new clothes and shoes for the both of us.
Before the concierge left, the woman I am traveling with told her: 'Don't let the store clerks Pretty Woman you.' When the concierge asked what that meant, my colleague said it was a joke about a yet-to-be-released film - one that would be 'the feel-good hooker movie of the year.'
The concierge likely felt insulted because when she dropped off the new clothing, she found my partner asleep, and presumably left an unsigned note stating that prostitution was a serious matter. The note read that the living conditions of ladies of the night should not be joked about. Plus, all our money was missing when my partner awoke. I was furious when I learned our entire purse full of money had been stolen. Not simply because the woman I am traveling with had fallen asleep, but also because she had facilitated it with the odd sense of humor she employs.
To continue, I demanded of my partner that she start acting more seriously and that she tell me any other information she may have been holding back during the time I have first met her.
She told me she had someone in her life-let us say it was her biological twin-who had an identical health condition to hers. She told me that her twin had recently been kidnapped, and that her twin's medical condition had become exacerbated because of her being denied food and water for a time while in captivity.
My partner further told me that her twin had been able to get food and water by cooperating. More precisely, she also had to beg her captor in order to be provided with food and water again.
This gave me an idea on how I could acquire the next biological sample from you if I didn't have any money to pay you for it. I thought maybe if I begged for the sample you would agree.
Well, here I am, genuflecting before you on a sidewalk close to the building where you reside. Meaning my knee is sore already, and it appears I have dirtied my new white dress. Tell me, what person would thoroughly degrade themselves like this unless to show how serious they are?
You said you wanted the truth before you would agree to this request. I have not provided the 'whole truth, and nothing but the truth' as eyewitnesses must swear in a courtroom from what I have read. Yet, everything I have said so far is true, so please let me have a hair from your chest.
