"Hey Void! Where did you put the pickaxe? I was gonna go mining for a bit! " Alex called out, Void looked up from the flowers he was planting.
"It should be in the chest by that tree!" He called back, Alex nodded and opened the chest looking at his reflection for a few seconds before returning to the mines.
"Void~! " Endorria sang, he glanced over to see the now finished white building sitting by the water. Their camp sat next to it but was now covered to shelter from the rain, their sleeping bags replaced by pillows which Alex had sewn a couple days before.
"Wow! It looks great!" Void said as he stood to look at the building, "what's this building for?" He questioned, Endorria smiled.
"For the travelers who want to stay-" she said, He raised an eyebrow.
"I actually don't know… for some reason my body just.. Built it" she finished confused at her own marvelous build.
Void shrugged.
"Either way, now we have a place to sleep when it's cold" he chuckled, she grinned and handed him some seeds.
"Here, lily seeds" she said "for Alex"
Void nodded with a smile and went back to planting when Alex returned from the mines.
"Hey guys… " he said, Endorria was next to him within an instant as Void wiped off his hands.
"What? "
"There's this weird book in an almost tattered box down there… " he said hesitantly.
Endorria blinked "a what? "
"A book" he repeated, Void cocked his head and followed Alex and Endorria down into the mines.
Alex kicked a pile of rubbish away and revealed a book crushed under some wood. "I can't get the wood up though" he said, Endorria crouched down and picked up the wood with ease, setting it aside as Void took the book.
It glowed a seal with wings appearing on the cover, Void almost dropped it.
Alex stared "what is it… ? " he questioned.
Void opened a page "it's.. A journal… for me? " he said, almost confused, Alex blinked.
"How do you know? " Endorria asked, Void shrugged.
"It says it on the cover"
"It doesn't say anything-" Endorria said, Void raising an eyebrow.
"My name is on the cover. How can you not.-..? " he stopped before looking at Alex.
"This island… "
"Magik." Endorria said, startling them, Alex nodded.
"That's why there was war… "
Something flashed and Alex flinched and pulled the book called 'Theorium' out of his bag only for it to now be replaced with his name and a seahorse and Trident on the front.
"I don't get it… where's mine? " Endorria blinked, Void and Alex exchanged glances before shrugging.
She sighed.
"Whatever, let's get back to it, the sun is about to go down. " she said almost bummed out, Alex and Void nodded as Alex shoved his book back into his bag and grabbed his pick.
Void left, returning to the flowers he was planting.
Endorria kicked a rock as she walked up a section of old crumbling steps, she stopped when something caught her attention.
She looked into the cave next to her spotting the spots of black and purple specks floating around it, it hissed gently enough for her to hear and she walked towards it.
"What… " she stopped when she noticed a pedestal sitting in the middle of a pitch black room. It glowed a brilliant hue of reds and oranges and purples… Like a rainbow. Floating atop the pedestal was an orb. It was beautiful and looked almost opalescent, she teleported to it and raised her hand to the orb.
It started to pulse and she pulled her hand back, she stared at it before biting her lip.
She shook her head and teleported back to the entrance, she stared at it for a few before tearing her eyes from the orb and returning to scouting out the area.
She sighed.
"What was that… "
