It was morning, and I felt extremely groggy. I could tell Sierra was still sleeping, as I could hear her snoring in the bunk below me. I climbed down the ladder slowly, careful not to wake her up. But there was Sierra, awake on her bed, reading a book. I started laughing to myself, remembering how loud of a snorer Josh was, and that's probably what I heard. I tapped Sierra, and pulled her out of bed, making her smile. We could tell either Josh or Brittany was making breakfast, and we raced downstairs. We hoped it was Josh. Brittany couldn't cook at all.
By the time we made it to the kitchen, our food was already ready, sitting there on the table. Sierra and I eyed each other, before taking a bite. We smiled at each other, mainly because we could tell it was Josh's; I wasn't barfing and Sierra hadn't turn bright red. We both downed both our meals in a matter of minutes. I went to go put my plate in the sink, when I noticed a shiny ring on the floor. I knew Sierra didn't like rings, and I didnt even own any. I could tell Brittany was watching me, because she bent over and picked it up.
"Sierra, Melissa, you need to know something." Josh came downstairs. He knew what was going on. "Melissa, your older Josh and I.." "Sierra, your older sister Brittany and I.." They exchanged glares. "Are going to get married!" They said in unison. Sierra fainted. "This is our engagement ring!" Brittany says. "Hold up!" I say, "So if you two get married, then Brittany's my step sister, right?" "That's right! And.." Her smile gets wider.
"You're gonna be the flower girl! And Sierra's our ring bearer!
