Alex yawned as he set down his satchel and sat under the trunk of a willow tree, it was getting late and soon it would be day 3 of his adventure.
He still hadn't found anything and he was staying as close to the ocean and river as he could.
Alex pulled out his guitar and plucked a string gently before looking at the starry sky, he smiled and strummed his guitar gently.
"Soaring through the fading sky… I almost think I see a life full of fireflies~
Kingdoms covered in moss and ruble, covered with history and our trouble
We bring them back, and sort out our facts for we… are heroes~
Of our own story~
Our own life…
Of fireflies~"
Alex exhaled gently and sat there with his guitar resting in his lap, when something in the sky flashed.
He groaned and pulled his hood up over his head, thunder.
He froze when he looked up and saw a line of light shooting up into the sky, not one light but 13 more in the distance. This one though was closer.
He jumped up and grabbed his satchel, he ran and then dived into the water.
After a few minutes of swimming he had found out. He stopped and let himself float as he stared at the massive kingdom, blues and whites and silvers of all kinds glimmered as the moon shone of the water.
He stared and fish swam past him, he Somersaulted and he laughed grabbing onto a pole.
He chuckled at the sight, a gorgeous castle sat deep In a crevice of rocks and a large town sat below it. Houses were everywhere and shops too all shimmering like they were brand new.
He smirked before his hand slipped and he fell slightly, he latched onto it again and stared.
He raised an eyebrow.
This wasn't a normal pole… not one you'd find as pollution.
The shaft was long and slender and white leading up to a spike as blue as his hair at the end. Silver seaweed patterns swirled around the shaft and then stopped.
His brows furrowed and he glanced up at the castle again before his hand slipped, he fumbled grabbing the trident again only for the base of the hilt to hit the ground.
The ground rippled and Alex moved away swiftly, staring down at it as it rippled to the center of the kingdom's PLaza. The lights lit up and fish turned into civilians bringing the Atlantis to life, His eyes lit up and sparkled with joy.
He wrapped both hands around it and pulled, it didn't budge. He yanked on it and it slid. The wet sand fell away slightly and he pulled it from the sand with ease.
His breath hitched, the other end held three spikes almost like an oversized fork.
A Trident.
He ran his fingers over the spikes wiping away the residue from the wet ground before turning back to the castle.
He smiled to himself as he held the Trident in his hands before chuckling.
He had found a literal Atlantis.
"I think I'll name you Oceannia. " he spoke quietly to the castle, fish swirled around him and he froze when he could hear what they were saying.
Bubbles floated upwards from underwater geysers and he chuckled swimming to the group of citizens that waited in the plaza, as he landed on the stone a girl with blonde wavy hair and blue doll eyes, she smiled through her bangs the white gown she wore swirled around her gently as she handed the trident to him.
He hesitated and took it, their fingers brushing, she smiled and curtsied before rising again, he smiled at the trident then his people before tendrils of blue and gold light swirled up and around him. 181Please respect copyright.PENANAkCI6rvQNF3
His eyes widened and he watched as his tunic and pants turned into an almost pristine white and teal Cassock, it had billowing sleeves. His boots grew taller and and stopped at his mid-thigh, his hair grew longer down to his waist and his fish-like ears became larger and decorated in silver piercings.
He gasped when small rune-like symbols appeared tattooed on his wrists and hands.
When the light disappeared he landed gently on the ground. The people around him smiled and clapped or made dolphin-like calls, The blonde In front of him smiled and pointed to his Trident then the water's surface and she gestured at throwing it.
He nodded slowly and pulled his arm back before throwing the trident, it flew through the water gracefully and surfaced.
Alex chuckled fins growing on his boots and shooting him upwards towards the surface, when he did surface he did a flip and grabbed the trident.
Dolphins shot up out of the water and did the same before diving back down again, he laughed and swam alongside them before holding onto one's fins and letting them pull him along.
They swam in groups and towards the castle before dropping him off at a balcony where a short chubby man awaited him.
He kissed the dolphins skin before letting go and gliding to the man, the man smiled.
"Welcome to your new home, dinner is at 6, and until then we will gladly take you around the castle and answer any of your questions" the man said, Alex landed as the man opened the stained glass door.
"Thank you" he replied walking through.
The man smiled.
"No, we thank you"
