"I don't know man…I was just alone and then all of a sudden I was sucked in through this… this-" void stopped walking thinking of the word.
"Portal? " Alex suggested, Void looked at him with a slight nod.
"That's a unique name for it…but yes." He replied, Endorria smiled gently.
"What about you Endorria? " Alex asked eyeing her, she smiled as they continued to walk around the crowded space where people exited and entered glowing portals of all shapes and sizes.
"Hm? Oh, heh I was born here" she lied with a small smile. They blinked.
"Seriously? "
Endorria nodded.
"Huh, interesting"
Endorria smiled "that's what I should be saying after witnessing two people fall from the sky" she said with a light and airy laugh, Alex rolled his eyes and crossed his arms before leaning against a market stand.
Void stood there awkwardly as Endorria pulled herself up onto the market stand swinging her legs back and forth playfully.
"So, where are we anyway? " Void asked, Endorria smiled and practically looked down on him over her perfect nose.
"We are in the Dimensional Magiks hub" she said, Alex and Void exchanged looks before she sighed and hopped off the stand doing a twirl her ponytail following her.
"In other words, A Portal Hub. God where are you guys from? Did you live under a rock or something? " she sneered, Alex frowned and Void shifted uncomfortably as she flung her ponytail she was playing with a second ago over her shoulder.
"Anyways! Let me show you around, because I know like every portal here and where it leads! You can almost say I'm a Dimensional genius! Did I mention I'm a born God? " she said as she skipped around Void in circles, Alex ignored her bragging and watched as people laughed and entered portals or hurriedly left them.
"Alex~! C'mon! " Endorria sang, waving at him from a purple portal surrounded by Black crystals. He sighed and jogged towards them as she began the tour.
After a good long hour of listening to Endorria brag and make rude remarks Alex looked her directly in the eyes. "So, what's a born God? " he asked, and she froze in place.
"You don't know what a God is? " she asked, Alex shook his head and Void shrugged.
"I'm not entirely sure what they are either… ``Void said, Endorria frowned, a look of shame crossing her pale features.
"Dear god… you guys really are from a distant dimension… " she said before sighing and pulling Alex out of a family's way. She smiled politely as she did so before letting him go and wiping her hands on her skirt.
"A God is someone at the top of a hierarchy… like kings and queens, you dig? '' she paused and Void and Alex nodded "but they have the ability to control Magiks, there's two ranks of God's. One is the very top and they're a group of powerful gods called the Supreminities, they make sure everything- every server is in check. Then there's the gods below them, the kind that can only do simple things like being the Supreminities watch dogs. '' she explained.
"I am unfortunately just a watchdog" she sighed.
They blinked, letting the information process. "So… what can you do then? " Void questioned, Endorria smiled.
"Watch this"
Alex rolled his eyes as he watched her run off to a little kid who was crying because his parents were missing. She smiled gently and pulled a shadow off the ground letting it form into a black figure with long legs and arms and glowing purple eyes, the creature made a sound before disappearing.
The kid stared in awe as the creature appeared again this time with a quartz rock. The kid broke into a smile.
"See exhibit A" Endorria said magically next to them again "and B" she said gesturing to herself.
"You can-... " Void thought for a moment.
"Teleport?" Alex suggested, he nodded and Endorria eyes Alex.
"So, Alex. Tell me about you" Endorria said with a smile, Alex frowned.
"No."
"Oh come on~! " she urged, he glared and walked away only for him to be yanked to the side.
"Shh!-"
He looked around panicked, spotting Endorria and Void who shared the same looks as they too were being knocked out by sparkling smoke.
Watchdogs.
