School's over...
Summer has started...
And I am watching you work like a dog in this disgusting diner.
I wonder why you have to work so hard Beloved. I know you are doing this to earn enough money to apply to the school of your choice.
But that doesn't matter.
You don't need to work.
You don't need school either because I'm able to take care of you for the rest of your life.
And I have taken note of your change in routine:
6:15AM: You wake up.
6:46AM: You do your morning duties.
7:30AM: You are in a taxi on your way to work.
8:05AM: You arrive at your work place.
8:15AM: You change into your work clothes.
8:30AM: You and the manager start cleaning the dining room area while your other coworkers arrive.
9:05AM: The first customer who is an old lady comes and you serve her the same thing; Iced Tea with a lot of lemon.
9:10AM-12:00PM: The dining room is mostly empty during this time so you are either wiping down the chairs with a worn out rag, trying out the dishes the chief has made or watching TV.
12:15PM: The lunch rush begins.
6:01PM: The beginning of the dinner rush.
8:45PM: You clean up the place.
9:00PM: You are on your way home.
9:55PM: You are taking a bath with your favorite shampoo and bath wash.
10:05PM: You are spreading out your futon.
10:16PM: You are sleeping.
Wednesdays are the only days in the week you aren't working so you spend most of the day grocery shopping or reading manga in your safe haven.
It's frustrating watching you work so hard but at least Gwen isn't here to see you which I am happy about.
I have been harnessing my powers for the past few days, Beloved, and you have been of much help. Every picture of you, everything you do, every breath you take fuels me. It gives me power beyond my imagination.
I am really curious to know what kind of power I'll have. Maybe I'll transform into something magnificent or have the powers of a Dark Lord...
For now, I can only heal myself and create weapons out of nothing. However, that doesn't give me the excuse to ignore the skills I was taught during my years at that boys camp.
But for now, I'll watch you until the time is right.
July 11th
12:00AM
I came to your safe haven really early to ask you if you wanted to come to the play on your favorite fantasy series.
As usual, you showed up just in time, but we didn't meet since the owner gave you the latest volume of the manga 'Attack on Titan' instead.
You thanked him and asked him why he was giving you for free and he said something along the lines of 'you being his favorite customer.'
Then he started asking you how your day was and how your work at the diner was faring.
Wait, how did he know where you worked?
Did you tell him?
I felt sick just thinking about it.
Then he started asking you why you were into that genre of manga and you told him why which he found weird.
'Teenagers like you shouldn't be reading that,' he said.
And you shrugged in response with a smile on your face.
This angered me.
Then you told him how you didn't like the highschool romance genre because it was filled with cliches but one broke that by making you cry so you stayed away from that genre completely.
Then he asked you about your plans for your future. You told him you wanted to be a doctor but the tight schedule wouldn't let you spend time with your family so you decided to be an engineer but changed your mind after asking someone who told you about the stiff competition in the work force. So you are settling to be a Guidance Counselor since it gives you the benefits of both worlds; you work and spend time with your family and help children in need.
I think it is a reasonable idea, but the idiot said you should be a doctor.
'A smart girl like you shouldn't waste your intelligence studying such a useless profession my dear,'
The leer in his voice and the smile he gave you made me want to get you the heck out of there but I kept my cool and watched you talk and help out at the store until the sun set.
Once you were outside, I wanted to give him a few choice words but someone else walked in so I had to leave.

I knew it!
I knew there was something strange about that man.
The way he looks at you, the way he talks to you...
It was all strange.
I have been watching both of you for the past few days and when I saw that sadness in his eyes when you left, I got suspicious.
Unfortunately, I found nothing on him on the internet except his personal information.
Name: Jokichi Aishi
Age: 52
Born 1971, attended Akademi High in 1987 and graduated 1989.
While he doesn't have a degree, he has work experience from working for a company; however, a note under his personal information which says he shouldn't be hired until he's cleared of previous scandals.
Something about the former owner of Saikou Corp covering up for him or his wife and the man was in jail for embezzling from the country.
I did some more digging and discovered his wife was once accused of a series of murders at the same school back in the 1980s when she was in highschool but was acquitted in court because of lack of evidence and defending herself without an attorney.
But that kind of attention could be a blot on someone's reputation. Besides, the rumors about her Yakuza dealings make her sound like a shady bitch.
And the idiot took his wife's last name further adding to the suspicion.
His only daughter, Ayano Yamada, was a positive thing from his family tree. She was the one who exposed the shady dealings occurring in a company called Saikou Corporation, and became a 'hero' of her school.
Ha!
It's absurd how they would call someone a hero for exposing an embezzlement scheme that has been taking place for years.
And how was she able to do that in one day?
It all sounds like a load of bullshit to me.
It's no wonder he's depressed and smokes a pack of cigarettes a day.
But I can't ignore this disease-carrying parasite.
Despite being in his early fifties, he still looks young and charismatic. All he needs to do is exercise, learn how to use a sword and grow his hair and he would be the perfect man for you.
Ugh!
Just imagining him in that image makes me sick!
And he hates his daughter for some reason.
Why would you love a man who hates his own child?
Thank God you are on to him.
One day, you asked him why he was so considerate to you.
The fool was tongue-tied.
He couldn't talk for a while, so he changed the subject and asked what university you planned to apply to, but you politely walked away.
I am sorry darling but I want you to stop seeing that man.
But killing him is a disastrous idea!
The suspicion of his murder would further cast suspicion on us since we are his only customers. However, what's even worse than being suspected by the police is being suspected by you.
I know everything thing about you Beloved and some of them is you do not believe lies and you do not hesitate to dig up the truth, forcing me to take make decisions I don't want to take.
But there is a silver lining.
I snuck into his family home and discovered he has an unstable relationship with his wife because he is afraid of her.
Which is a positive thing.
Perhaps if I play my cards right, I can use that to threaten him to stay away from you.
Two days later...
The time was 8:30 AM, and Jokichi Aishi was rearranging the manga on the shelf when he thought about the last conversation he had with Emma.
'Why did I present myself as a creep?' He muttered.
This made him take out the pack of cigarettes from his pocket and light a stick. Blowing smoke in the air, he thought long and hard about how his life had taken a turn for the worst.
Born an orphan and raised by his aunt, Jokichi vowed to build a life of comfort for himself, but that changed in high school due to his lonely lifestyle. After a year of watching students transition from friends to lovers, he longed to be with someone and was on the prowl for Ms. Right. Fortunately, his dashing looks and charisma are enough to win over almost any young lady, but if she approaches him, something seems to happen that makes her disappear from his life.
Little did he know an underclassman would be the one responsible for the damage to his reputation. Now both she and their child are responsible for his current misery.
He blinked back tears and sighed again.
Why did he agree to do this?
Why?
Good thing she didn't interfere with his work at the manga store.
This was all her idea anyway.
But who reads manga when you have the internet?
This was a terrible idea.
At least Emma was a breath of fresh air; she had emotion, ambition, dedication to work, everything! While he didn't like her taste in manga, he could put one bad habit aside over his daughter's growing list of bad habits.
He chuckled and smiled. 'I wonder if she will come today?'
"Ahem,"
Fear gripped him and he quickly looked to the right to see a boy wearing a black jacket staring at him.
"Can I help you?"
He grinned, "Aren't you going to ask how I got in here?"
Jokichi panicked and dipped his hand into his pocket to get his phone, but a hand stopped him.
"Relax. I'm not here to rob you," he said.
"Th...then what do you want?"
He smiles and shows him a picture on his phone. "Do you know this girl?"
It was Emma. "What about her?"
"I want you to stay away from her,"
Jokichi's eyes widen in fear as he takes a step back. "What?"
"I know what you are about to do Mr. Aishi and I have to admit you are one shady guy."
"I...I don't know what you are talking abou..."
"First thing I saw when I broke in was a cup of tea and benzodiazepines. Next to it was a box large enough to hold a person and there was rope inside."
Fear tightened its grip on him.
"Honestly, what were you trying to do Mr. Aishi?" He moved closer and whispered into his ear, "Don't tell me you were planning to kidnap her were you?"
Now Jokichi was shivering as a hand was placed on his shoulder.
"What would your wife think? She'd be so angry if she heard her husband was trying to kidnap a highschool student."
Now tears were flowing down his face. "Please,"
The boy took a step back with a smile on his face.
"Please don't tell my wife I beg you," he said. "Please,"
He said, "Where's the fun in that? I'm going to tell the police. Maybe you can explain why you're trying to seduce a high schooler."
"I wasn't trying to seduce her, I swear!"
"Then what were you trying to do? Those things weren't stashed there for nothing now were they?"
"Maybe she..." Jokichi quickly covered his mouth. "Crap!"
"Maybe what?" asked the boy. "Perhaps she snuck in and left them there? Maybe she was trying to frame you?"
There was a pause. "Maybe your wife kept them there with the intention of kidnapping her?"
Jokichi's heart skipped a beat twice and his legs buckled under his weight.
"I know what she did."
Jokichi dared to look up and could see the boy towering over him with a smirk on his face.
"She's a shady bitch, I've got to admit." He lowered himself down to Jokichi's pathetic stature, "I'm only going to say this once: stay away from her. I don't care if you stop talking to her or just close the shop. If I ever see you near her again, I'll get you reported to the police."
He showed him his phone again this time revealing he'd been recording him all this time. "Understood?"
Jokochi didn't reply as the boy walked out, this time through the front door. Sitting on the floor for a few minutes, he heard a voice that sent shivers down his spine.
"Darling,"
His blood ran cold.
"Are you alright?"
Tears ran down his cheeks as he gave a wiry smile.

I am an idiot!
A cock-sucking, egotistical, emotional, stupid idiot!
I just had to go scare her like that!
I just had to react like I did!
Now she's scared of me.
I highly doubt if she would have anything to do with me now!
*sees a picture of Gwen and Emma*
No!
I can't give up yet.
Not while that girl is still alive.209Please respect copyright.PENANAGwi7wVuPTd
