BLAM! CH-CHIK! BLAM! CH-CHIK! BLAM! CH-CHIK!
The battle raged on, the Chimera like creature had engaged in a fight with Xenthos & The Scientist. The Scientist provided cover fire while Xenthos tried to close the distance between him and the monster, the creature hissed and spewed a glob of webs at Xenthos, sliding to a stop he kicked up a wall of rocks blocking the web shot but blocking visual of the beast as well. A crack formed and then two massive talons broke through, Xenthos leaned to the side dodging one and then ducked to dodge the other. Raising his arms he caught the beast’s mandibles as it dove at him to try and bite down on him.
“Xenthos!!” The Scientist shouted in a panic as she aimed at one of the talons and tried to shoot it off, firing at it and chipping away at the armored exoskeleton until she could see the joints. Soon she heard small hissing sounds and summoning a glowing hand she pulled herself away, looking down to see a swarm of small spiderlings from the creature. Landing against the wall she took out a small orb and dropped a small flash with orange liquid inside. “Haaaaa!!” The Scientist looked on seeing Xenthos lifting the beast up and above him by its mandibles causing it to flail and hiss, turning around Xenthos slammed the beast down on its back and leapt into the air. In that moment the scientist tossed the fire bomb down onto the creature and its spiderlings engulfing them in a fiery swirl which Xenthos came down into causing a large explosion of blue and orange flames. The flames dance throughout the cavern creating a momentarily blinding light that, once subsided, revealed the webs had been torched away. Jumping down she walked to the small creator Xenthos had created and looked in, she saw the blue energy emitting from his hands but that wasn’t all. “Are you talking through the hand?!” Xenthos heard Lee shout through the device, he looked at it then the Scientist.
“We found a defender, Xenthos and I are taking her back to the village.”
“We just gonna ignore this?!”
“I only found armor bits after slaying some demons.” Utsukushī responded through her device surrounded by bodies and bodies of various demons. Big and small.
“We’re having little luck, we’re following a- Whoa! Ibaraki!”

“Hey. Hey Sun, wake up…” Groaning Sun woke up and began coughing and choking for a second before looking up and spotting someone nearby them. Asmodeus sat on a tree stump eating an apple or some kind of fruit. He was looking at something, Ibaraki pulled Sun to try and step away from him. Sun put her shoulder on his arm to carry her away.

Sun stepped away again but this time he got closer to the hole and noticed it was oozing Miasma in large quantities, the vast amount caused him to gag and step away from it quickly. “Yeah… Guy seemed conflicted… Told me some valuable information about it. It’s a Demon Gateway, one of the various things tying them to our world… Something is in the gates… Maybe we can close it, we can take back our world. I also found one of the survivors."
