“.....” There was an eerie silence within the Scientist’s laboratory which kind of creeped out her current guests, though what was thought up by her #1 assistant was that said guests were the exact problem. However speaking wasn’t something he was too sure he was free to do right now.
“Why the hell are we sitting here just staring at each other’s foreheads? Shouldn’t we be out killing Demons or looking for another shrine or something?” The silence was swiftly broken by Lee’s voice ringing out with a simple question.
“Seems like you actually know how to do your work don’t you Lee?” The Scientist looked up from the floor, no longer pondering and now focusing on whatever Lee was on about.
“Hey I’m lazy, not a bum. I’m willing to work when it strikes me, plus two weeks to read wasn’t too bad. But no seriously, what’s the reason we’re sitting around?”
“It’s funny that the laziest one of us is asking questions that have to do with mobility, got some lady friend you’re trying to meet rookie?” Konkitsu leaned forward, his mechanics creaking for a moment as he watched Lee stretch and lean against the table.
“Could be, couldn’t be. But I’m just saying, it feels like we’re losing just sitting around.”
“Well what do you suggest Lee?” Utsukushī asked, looking up at him as he stood and began to walk out of the room.
“We can just do some spare stuff, we’re a team right but we’re boring as hell. Why don’t we just kick it together, my old gang used to have times where we’d split up our groups. Boys and girls, we’d just take time to our respective genders and do whatever we wanna do for either the whole day or just the night and then we all go back to our regularly scheduled lifestyles. We’d do things that would benefit the group so in our case, killing demons and helping the village and then we’d run it back together and it boosted morale. Showed us what we’re capable of alone and how we function together.”
“That’s… The most ridiculous-”
“I’m actually all for that idea, it’ll give us time to learn more from each other. Open up the kits, plus we can develop strategies that’ll-” Konkitsu spoke up with a chime at the idea before he was cut off by The Scientist glaring at him for cutting her off.
“Okay okay fossil, it’s for fun not for boring lectures. I’ll go get the guys.”
“As they say that’s three down isn’t it?” Utsukushī pointed down the hill, coming up from the village they saw Xenthos and Kenji walking up with Rin beside them. Standing up The Scientist slipped on her flip flops and began to step forward walking over to Rin.
“How much do I owe you?” Reaching into her purse she dug around for a moment pulling out a pouch and rummaging through for some gold.
“Not a thing, I merely want you to keep him out of trouble. Vergil already scolded this one.” Kenji rolled his eyes, holding his sword on his shoulder glaring down at Rin before looking away and huffing. Xenthos looked up at Kenji before turning his head towards his boss, standing in front of him she balled her fist and lifted it up.
“Don’t.” With a thump The Scientist punched Xenthos in the chest which left no reaction from him but the message was clearly received, she looked puzzled by this but seemed to put it off for a moment. “Where are you going?”
“About to set up a hang out night for us boys, give the girls their own space. You in Xenthos??”
“The hell is the point of it?”

“Yup fighting is all you seem to know, got it. We’ll go camping, hunt a demon or two and eat out. I’ll see if I can get Zaibatsu to come along with us. Come on if ya want.” Xenthos shrugged and began to follow him, Konkitsu walking behind him with Kenji in tow. Thus Utsukushī, The Scientist and Rin were all left alone with one another.
“Well this is already going well isn’t it? Shall we gather our things for our own alone time ladies?” With a smile Utsukushī began to strut down the hill motioning her friends to follow behind her.
“Ugh… Fine. Long as we’re getting something sweet while we’re out.” The Scientist rolled her eyes and followed after with Rin walking with her.
“Oh I’ve been dying to bring out the treats I saved at our shop, we’ll gather some more girls and we’ll hang out there.”

“Now if I were a monkey, where would I be?”
“With Ibaraki obviously, Sun’s been glued to her day in and day out.”
“Okay Xenthos, if you were Ibaraki where would you be?” Xenthos looked towards Zaibatsu’s shop just as Ibaraki and Sun stepped out talking to Zaibatsu. Ibaraki seemed to laugh before bowing to him while Sun shook his hand and pulled him into a hug .
“Bingo. Yo! Monkey Man.” Lee called Sun who turned to face them.
“Wassup gang, we’ve got another mission going on??”
“Nah we’re just going out to the desert to camp and kill demons, the influx has grown from there and we’re just about to clear it out and spend time together. You in??”
“I’m guessing board games were off the table?”
“With this group? Seriously Sun?”
“Oi! What’s that supposed to mean? I’m not like these two.” Konkistu steps away from Xenthos and Kenji who both look at each other then them and shrug.
“Anyway I’m down, Ibaraki you comin-”
“No she is not, she’s with us. Come on young lady, you’ve been around enough boys for a while.” Rin came over and gently scooped Ibaraki away.
“Ooooh we’re having a bros night and they’re- Okay okay. Zaibatsu you in? Could be fun.”
“Wait, can you even defend yourself?”

“I’ll assume our last stop would be Tachibana’s establishment?”
“No need.” Rin would look down at her ring and rub it a bit before whistling.
“HM?” Kenji felt a jolt rush through his body and spun around swinging his sword but stopping inches from Tachibana’s eyes.
“Oh? Apologies, I didn’t think my appearance would cause such an issue.” Kenji’s hand was quivering and shaking as if he was still trying to cut Tachibana’s head off but his hand refused to go any further. “Kenji! Dude chill!” Lee watched Kenji’s arm shake a bit before he pulled his blade away and sheathed it again.
“What of my squad, are we bringing them?”
“I mean if they’re guys why not? Know where they’re at?” Everyone discussed their plans, set the ideas, and began to split. The boys went towards the village entrance and looked towards Takata who was currently reading with Goro and Tamaki.
“Boss? What’s up, we headin’ out?” Goro asked as he stood up holding Takata before holding him towards Kenji. Kenji stuck his arm out and Takata stepped onto it walking up his arm to his hair which he rested in and continued reading.
“All of us are, we’re goin’ camping.”
“Is that so? Can we please bring sleeping bags? My hair and filth don’t mix well.” Tamaki groaned a bit as the guys looked around and then all looked towards Tachibana, with a snap he harbored a bag with supplies and passed it off.
