The basement was a horrible place, if I had any memory of who I was prior to this game… I could definitely say I was someone who was REALLY scared of basements… They’re just oddly unsettling, like anything and everything can be down here. Lost secrets, memories someone wishes were gone, so many things. But despite my fears I had to be strong, I’m supposed to be watching over the two ladies in our group. Even if little Lari seems to be very fearful of me for some reason… I hope I wasn’t someone bad.

“Fast… Dangerous…” Lari told us just as the sounds grew louder, William grabbed the girls and pushed them gently towards a small opening in the wall. It was dark and they could hide, he handed them the Axe and now that left us to this. We- Wait, hold on.
“Wi-William… Why aren’t we hiding?”
“We’re men, we need to defend the girls. Especially Lari since she knows what we have to do in order to get out of this, meaning if we want to win-”
“We have to get the attention of whatever is down here… I-I'm not cut out for this Will.”
“Neither am I but it’s not like we’ve got a choice in the matter, possibly damned if we do. Definitely damned if we don’t.” There was no choice in this matter, which means whatever is down here is something we’ll have to go with. The footsteps grew louder and closed in, soon we were looking right at it. Some creature completely covered in dirty bandages, it had to be impossibly large for human standards.
“Gah!!”
“Augh!!!” MY EARS!! MY EARS!!!
“AUGH!!! STOP!!!” Suddenly the creature stopped its roaring, the silence ensued and- GAH! William?! I-I can’t even yell his name! My ears hurt so bad. William I’m coming!
“ !” I don’t know if William is even speaking but he’s being attacked. Doing my best I swung and struck the creature in its leg, swinging again and again as hard as I can but the darn thing won’t budge!!
“ !” I fell over i-it was knocked back? I-I huh-? Spiffy? X? Ouch… Wait up? Up! Get Up!

“X! Any plans here?!”
“Keep running. We run out of places to run or we run and escape this thing. There isn’t much more than that leading into this.”
“It has echolocation, the reason we can’t escape this thing and why its speed barely runs low is because its roars bounce off the walls and bring it back to it. And it hurts to hear, the water splashing makes us targets. We gotta keep it’s attention though because if we don’t they’ll have two creatures to deal with!”
“Two?! There’s another one down here brat?!” I can’t believe he didn’t tell us about the second one down here!! What the heck?!
“Hey! Why am I a brat for that?! We’re running! I was focusing on that until he told us he didn’t have a plan!” This little- ARGH! Screw this!

“Stupid thing!!” If it uses echolocation then I’ll just keep making everything nice and loud for it! So I kept shooting and shooting!

“Ho-Holy crap… you just saved my life. Thanks kid… X are you seriously clueless here?” I know our plan hinged on this kid getting that buff or whatever that was again but so far he seems tame and pretty unbuffed. Seriously this is the most confusing game ever?
