Chapter VI: Misunderstandings, Part 1
At school, Kota goes to school and after the morning session, he and the Brotubers chat again. Akiko passes, and Enmei talks to her about Avenge of the Titan and some other anime, like Legit Skating and My Sister is a Demon. Looking at the flirty-like attitude of his, Kota is feeling something unnerving. Asahi also interjects their conversation and talks about some RPGs and an American historical musical, in which the way he speaks to her is similar to Enmei's. Since they have many things in common, Kota feels left out and a bit of jealous.
Looking at a troubled Kota, Akiko also suggests him to watch the American musical though Kota is very fond of history. Very fond in fact, he almost memorized the main events in World History, even in local history. Although, she doesn't suggest to watch anime since he's not like interested with it. The teacher comes in again and class starts.
In the afternoon, Kota asks Akiko an irrelevant question pertaining about first crushes. She answers that she had one back in grade school and the most embarrassing thing is that they kissed on the lips, although this was unexpected back then. Kota looks troubled again but Akiko comforts him to forget what she said. Kota then gets upset for no reason although the promise stated in the chat, he stills reveals that he also loves her. Tears then run down Akiko's rosy cheeks and also says about they are just friends. She also tells him that she is up every night to come up with the exact words she'll say to him the very next day. From this, Kota feels bad about this and composes a parody of a song by Smore, a famous artist at that time.
Hearing this, Akiko's face lightens up and smiles, and tells him that he is very cheesy in making songs. They reconcile as they hug. Glad only a crowd of 5 people surrounded this including a nosy and bubbly girl. After class, Kota walks to the dike again and frankly bumps again to Akiko. However at this point, they only chat and she does the thing to him again. While she is going away, speaking in a humble voice, Kota admits that it was his fault which is why it needs to turn out that way and she also accepts it.
