Tad sat in Swanford's library, at his usuall table in the corner. Tad was working on his sophomore paper for physics. He was in the honors class at Swanford's only school. He was already 5 pages in, when his class bullies cam up behind him.
"Hey Tad," one of them teased.
"Whatcha doing?" another one asked.
"None of you business" Tad retorted.
"Aww, come on, don't ruin the fun." The biggest one, called Sam, said as he picked him up by his shoulders and shoved him up against the closest wall. Tad struggled, in vain as the band of bully's leader, Dan Alva, came out from behind the bookcase, brown hair swayed to the side. Tad knew he was fucked up when his sister, Mary Alva, joined him. They were the most popular in the entire school. They toured on the most popular magic show in the world, so they usually had their minions do the work. Tad never told anyone because they would have been furious, and they were strong. Tad was usually their toy when they come back, though. He was stuck doing their work most of the time, but that paper meant his life. If he failed it, he would be taken out of honors and put in the classes with THEM. Dan motioned for Sam to put him down. Tad shrunk back as the twins approached him.
"Don't be scared." Mary said, kneeling to his sitting level, her brown hair tumbled over shoulders. She had her school uniform on. Blue jacket, white collar shirt, black skirt, and black heels.
"Our parents discovered our little soiree." Dan said flatly, still standing in his show clothes. Black cape, blue button down, black slacks, and black dress shoes. It was a lot like our school uniform, minus the cape. Tad was a bit shocked by his comment, he guessed this meant he didn't have to do their work anymore. The school would be horrified if their poster twins bullied someone.
"Oh no." Tad said sarcastically, finally having some power over them.
"What will you do if you if your spotless reputation got dirty?" He asked with a smirk. Dan scowled as Tad stood up, a little less scared then before. Mary stood, walked back and shooed the others away. She turned her head back to Tad, her brown eyes glowing blue, Mary was going to use her magic on him. He knew it, he was going to die. Dan held his arm up to stop her.
"Exactly, that's why your not going to tell anyone." Dan stated.
"And if I do?" Tad asked, keeping his smirk strong. It was the first time he could use it, and he wasn't letting them go that easy.
"Then you can be the only person in the entire town not going to our party tomorrow." Mary responded, keeping her magic ready. Now Tad didn't really care for parties, but if he was the only one in town not going, there would be nothing else to do. Not to mention the library being closed. That made him lose his smirk. Dan shoved an invitation in Tads chest, with more force then needed, and the twins stormed off. To be honest, that's the nicest they've treated him.
