"He was your twin, Bill" I said, rising.
"Dad gave you guys his kingdom." I led him away from were people could hear us.
"What!?" Tad exclaimed.
"Surprise?" I ask, forcing a smile.
"Ok, so if you found me, where is Bill?" he asked
"He's here to, I just have to find him again. The party is ending, we have to move fast." I ordered.
"I'll meet you at the library." he called, running back into the party. I followed him and looked for that gold tux I saw earlier. Tad kept the photo to find him. I realized the show was just ending and Dan and Mary stepped off the stage. I couldn't see him anywhere, so I go up to a man who just cam out of the mens room.
"Excuse me, is there a man with a gold tux in there?" I ask with a smile.
"Yeah, the kid's puking his brains out." He said gruffly before walking away, he's in the one place I can't go. I sit by the door until he comes out. That's when Dan came up to me, perfect.
"Waiting on someone?" Dan asked, leaning up against the wall above me. I nod and look away.
"Why so shy?" he questioned with that damn smirk again. It's not like I could tell him Bill was my brother, and your my sworn enemy. So I cam up with a quick lie.
"He's my boyfriend." I said.
"I couldn't think of a way to tell you because you were being so nice." I looked down at the ground again. I could sense he was disappointed as his smile fell, I almost felt bed for him.
"I'll go get him for you." Dan murmured, walking into the bathroom. I stood as he walked out. Bill had his hand to his head and lost his hat and belt somewhere, but at least he was clean.
"Bye, Dan." I said, giving him a pity smile. He turned and walked away as I led Bill to the door
"Where are we going?" He asked, stumbling beside me.
"Shhh, it's a surprise." I whispered as he perked up at that. My phone read 7:50, so it was an okay time to leave the party, I stopped in front of the library.
"What are we doing here?" Bill asked, letting go of my arm.
"We're waiting for someone." I respond, sitting down on a bench. Bill sat down next to me and wrapped his arm around me.
"Then I can wait all night." he said, passing out again A couple minutes later Tad came running up to me.
"You found him!" Tad exclaimed, heaving.
"I think it's best if you tell him, he is your brother." I whisper, smiling. Bill stirred, rubbing his head.
"Who's he?" Bill asked, blinking.
"Your brother." I said flatly.
"I'm still dreaming." He responded, laying his head on my shoulder. I stand up and let him fall on the hard bench.
"I have more proof at my place, if you guys belive me." I said, turning.
"Come on." Bill followed me as Tad walked beside me, thinking. We walk through the western woods and I take off my heels. I lift the latch and start to climb down
"You guys coming? I ask, disappearing down the hole. Bill was the first to follow.
"Nice place." He said, setting his shoes on my wooden floor.
"Cool." Tad said, following Bill.
"Sorry it's so cramped, I'll be back in a sec." I said, ducking into the bathroom as they sit on the bed. I dig through my old books in the cabinet above the toilet and pull out three journals. We all sit in a circle on the floor.
"Fate, our dad, gave me these to give to you. Although it was supposed to be sooner." I start. I give Tad the journal with a golden triangle with a number 2 on the cover, Bill one with the number 3, and I kept the journal with a number 1.
"What is this, book club?" Bill asked, flipping through the book.
"These journals show you a full explanation of all your powers, how we counteract with each other, and the limitations we have." I explain, standing.
"We leave at dawn." I said.
"Why? Where?" Bill and Tad ask in unison. Tad stood to get to my level.
"To Fate's castle. Now that we find each other, the Alva's will be looking for us." I said even more flatly then before.
"But why are the Alva's after us?" Bill asked, standing with us. I look at the ground.
"I'm afraid only dad can answer that, it might say something in the journals." I respond.
"Got it, so were are we gonna sleep?" Tad asked. I gave him a smirk as I walked to the space between my bed and the bathroom wall. I flipped a hidden switch I made with a tree root, revealing a secret room with a bunk bed, and another little bathroom closet.
"Dad made sure I mad a room for you t-" I started before Bill cut me off.
"I call top bunk!" he exclaimed, running and jumping onto it instead of just using the ladder.
"Night bro, sis." he said, blowing out the candle below him. Tad stood staring at me. I motion back to my room. We walk out and I close the secret door behind me.
"I surprised he's ok with all of this." I said, folding my dining table out from the wall next to the kitchen.
"Have a seat." I said, motioning to the chair opposite me. He sat and gave me a puzzled look.
"What is it?" Tad asked.
"I wanted to know, what did Dan do to you?" I responded. Tad looked at the ground, I could sense he knew he couldn't hide it from me.
"he was my boss, and he didn't like me." He responded, before going to the door and leaving into the dark room. I took a shower and put on my PJs, then I climbed into my bed and looked at the clock, it read 9:45. I blew out the candle and fell asleep.
