I dialed my home phone.
"Um.. Hey! Is this mom or dad?"
"Hey honey! Is everything alright at school?" Its my mom's voice.
I hesitated. Should I tell the truth? Will she think that I'm mental? No. I have to tell the truth.
" Mom, I need to go to the police station..."
"WHAAATT!!!" Yup. Mom's famous soprano scream.
People turned around to stare at me. Awkward...
After she quieted down, I told her," My friend just died because of a car crash. I am at the incident site and is probably suspeced for a murder..."
My mom was silent for a few seconds. Then she spoke," Sweetie, I know you didn't kill anybody. I have faith in you. Please prove me right."
Then she hang up the phone.
