I was beaming by the time school was over.
By the time I was out on the court yard,Anwen and Eris came running up to them.
I sat on the curb stone of the huge fountian and looked up as Eris hovered above me.
"Um,yes?"I asked.
"We are really sorry for what we'eve done,"Anwen started.
"We can make it up to you,"Eris said,"Anything."She added.
I looked at them in suprise,did they mean it? They had been acting weird latley. By the looks of their faces,I knew they meant it.
"But,why?"I asked standing up,"What's so important of apoligizing now? Why were you mean to me? And my last question,what happened to you guys?"I asked looking over to Alis,she had a hurt look as she watched us,she quickly ran towards the bridge as she saw me looking at her.
"Because,"Anwen started.
"We understand what we did was cruel,the only reason why I did it was because I didn't want Alis or Anwen to hate me. I just wanted friends,plus I never meant those mean words I said."Eris said.
Anwen looked over to Eris,"You know I never or ever would hate you."
Eris sighed,"I know,just my worries,I guess."
I sighed,"You guys mean it? For real? This isn't some mean trick?"
Eris looked suprised,"Of course not,we left that life behind,we are truly sorry."
"Are you going to forgive us?"Anwen asked akwardly shifting from right to left.
"Only if you tell me what happend between you and Alis."
Eris and Anwen shared their two sides of being forced to do stuff they didn't want to do,treated like Alis's slave's,spying on me and Dwyn.
"And...that's pretty much it."Eris said finishing the story off.
"Oh,wow. Um so,do you think Alis actually posted the video? Wouldn't I or you guys have seen it aready?"I asked.
"I don't know,we saw her post it,I wonder if she deleted it."Eris said.
"Maybe....but that's not like her."Anwen said.
"Trust me,people can suprise you."A vioce said from behind me.
I twisted around to see confused Dwyn.
"Why are you talking to them?"She asked.
"Dwyn,they were apoligizing,come on,give 'em some slack."I said grinning.
She smiled knowing they meant no harm,"Well,okay~Wait,who are we gossiping about here?"
"They were just telling me their story,should we accept their apolgy?"
Dwyn moved to the side and studied Eris's and Anwen's facial expressions.
Anwen looked down,not saying anything. Eris looked past us at the ocean veiw.
"Well,okay."Dwyn decided after a few minutes.
"Yay!!"Eris said flinging herself on Dwyn.
Dwyn laughed at her response and hugged her back. Anwen stood there akwardly staring at me as if I was judging her.
"Come on Anwen,bring it in."I said smiling and opening my arms.
She looked suprised and took the hug in.
"Hey,I have a idea!"I said as Anwen peeled herself off me.
"What?"Dwyn asked as if we had talked for hours.
"How about Anwen and Eris come shopping with us?"I asked looking at all three of them.
"Oh my word! Yes!"Dwyn said jumping up and down.
"How about it?"I asked.
"Sure!"Anwen said grinning.
"If you really want to."Eris said shying.
"The it's settled!"I said.
"Eeeh!"Eris said jumping up and down.
I laughed.
"Oof,got to go,bye!"Anwen said.
"Bye."I said.
After Anwen and Eris had left,there was only me and Dwyn.
"I have to go."She said looking at her phone.
"I thought you didn't have any work?"I asked puzzeled.
She rolled her eyes jokingly,"Aneira,we'ere not 5 anymore,we have homework and my Mom wants me to help her with something."
With a wink of her eye and a cheery goodbye she disapered around the corner.
I smiled. Mysterious Dwyn.
I made my way up to my front door. I went inside and set my shoes down.
"Mum? Dona?"I called walking into the kitchen.
On the table were some crepes,some money,and a sticky note.
I picked the sticky note up,in fast cursive,was Mum's handwriting
Hi Honey,sorry I couldn't kiss you goodbye,I had to take Dona somewhere. The money is right on the table. Call me if something's wrong. And dear,could you ask Dwyn's Mum if you can have a sleepover? Me nor Dona will be home tonight. But late tomorrow afternoon I'll be back. Don't ask where I am,no biggy. I'm in no danger. But I don't feel safe with you alone. Have some fun with Dwyn,dear,and no matter what you do,don't come back home until tomorrow afternoon.
From Mum.
I shivered. I looked around the house. It suddenly didn't feel safe anymore. I shoved the note in my pocket and ran upstairs. I grabbed clothes and a few essentials that would last me. I ran down stairs and out the door.
Only a few more minutes,I thought.
A few minutes later Dwyn and her Mom pulled up.
Dwyn looked at me like I was crazy,"What are you doing outside? It's like 30 degrees!!"
I jumped inside the car,"My Mum and sister weren't here,and I needed some fresh air. Um,Mrs.A,may I sleep at your house tonight? My Mum or sister won't be here."
Mrs.A looked backed at me through her mirror,"Sure,honey."
Dwyn studied my face,"What's up with you?"
"Nothing!"I said defensively.
She held her hands up in surrender,"Okay,okay."
