Senshi paced back and forth in the bedroom as she tried to keep her thoughts in check, it was hard to be out in the other rooms cause it felt like she was being watched but she found it more comforting and quiet in this room.
She walked over to the huge window on the left wall and opened the curtains before noticing there was a balcony, she raised an eyebrow and turned the knob when it got stuck.
“Dammit. Why does everything have to be so hard!” She growled as she messed with the knob before it finally opened and she walked out into the fresh morning light.
She sighed and spread her wings wincing a bit and let the breeze hit them gently making them sparkle in the light. She looked up into the sky and frowned “your majesty...I wish I could be there in Avalaria with you again...even if you can’t hear me...” senshi mumbled as the door to the bedroom opened.
“Hey senshi do you- senshi? Where’d you go?” Jayden called. Senshi stiffened something kick starting her heart and she growled biting her cheek ‘i can’t go through this again.’ She thought in agony.
Jayden moved the curtain and spotted her before struggling with the door and joining her “I didn’t know there was a balcony here...” he said, senshi didn’t speak and kept her eyes glued to the ground.
“Something wrong?” He asked, senshi’s cheeks warmed and she felt tears coming on as she remembered how she died “I...i need some fresh air...” she stuttered which wasn’t normal and left the balcony to go outside of the hotel.
“Fresh air? But you were literally just outside....” Jayden watched her leave genuinely confused.
Senshi kicked a rock down the gravel road towards the warehouses as she kept wiping tears from her eyes, she frowned and made her way to the warehouse she was in and looked at the now stone and floral cobra sitting in the middle of the floor.
She looked at it before looking around and stepping through the hole to the corridor that she fought the statue in, she stiffened when she noticed something glowing in the back of the room on a pedestal.
“No...how is that here...” she mumbled before walking towards it, the whispers started as they drew her towards it.
The crystal of Alavania was the prince’s source of power, he never let anyone touch it but senshi. Senshi choked on air as she got closer and recognized the whispers as the prince’s own voice.
She bit her cheek before touching it gently and then everything went black.

“Your majesty, another group of bandits were spotted around the border. What would you like our course of action to be?” Senshi asked as she stood in her respective spot by the left side of the desk.
The queen locked eyes with her and smiled “bring them in” she said, senshi nodded and looked towards the right side of the desk before raising an eyebrow at the prince’s absence. “Is the prince well?” Senshi asked.
The queen frowned “yes, I think he might’ve slept in late...will you have the guards bring the bandits in and then check on him please?” She requested.
“As you wish your majesty” senshi said before leaving and sending in the guards and the three bandits before making her way down the corridors and then up three flights of stairs up to an attic type room.
She entered the room always awed by the beauty of it, the ceiling wasn’t the plain boring washed out white but more of a mural of purples and pinks with stars and constellations. The walls were painted black and there were gold accents all over the room along with the princes astrology equipment.
Sure enough the prince was asleep and senshi smiled to herself, her cheeks growing warm as she walk towards the bed before noticing the crystal by the bed. She raised an eyebrow
‘he never leaves the crystal out of its glass casing...’
She shook his majesty awake and he groaned before sitting up. his hair was ruffled and brown, his eyes a bright blue like know normal hue of blue, he was fit and handsome and had the cutest smile with dimples.
He looked up at senshi and sighed “I slept in again didn’t I?” He asked, his British mixed with French accent made senshi swoon and she blushed uncontrollably.
“Senshi?” He said confused, “ah, sorry your majesty...yes, you slept in again. The queen sent me to wake you” she said, he nodded and got up before looking at the crystal “dammit...I forgot to put it away...” he mumbled before going to change.
Senshi picked up the crystal and set it on it’s beautiful golden pedestal by the bed and placed the glass over it, “are you hungry your majesty? I can call the maids if you are” senshi said.
He walked out from his bathroom and grabbed his blouse and pulled it over his head, senshi got a full look of his abs on accident and bit her cheek.
“I’ll be fine, but thank you” he said before leaving with senshi to the queen’s parlor.
That night senshi stayed awake and alert in the princes room watching the crystal closely as she always did as the prince pressed a button on the wall.
The ceiling opened up and the evening breeze drifted in as the stars shimmered brightly. Senshi watched curiously as he looked through his telescope at the constellations.
“Senshi, what is your zodiac?” He asked in curiosity giving her a sideways glance, senshi’s eyes widened in shock “what do you mean?” She asked. “Your zodiac. What is it?” He asked, she stared.
The prince had never asked personal questions about her in the 7 years they knew each other.
“Ah, oh...um...The zodiac of the ram...” she replied, he smiled and waved her over to them, senshi walked over keeping a short distance between them and he chuckled “come closer” he ordered gently.
Senshi blushed madly and got close enough that their shoulders touched “look up there...see that star...the one that’s brighter then the others?” He asked, senshi nodded.
“That’s the beginning of the ram constellation...” he explained looking at senshi as she looked away from him quickly, he raised an eyebrow and moved her face towards his with the palm of his hand.
“Why are you avoiding my gaze?” He asked, senshi tensed and she bit the inside of her cheek keeping herself from letting him know.
“Senshi.” He said, senshi snapped out of it and blushed realizing their faces were only inches apart. She should be used to this since he loved to tease her like that but this was different.
Something in her heart stirred and she mumbled something under her breathe, “what was that?” He asked his curiosity rising.
She hesitated before biting her lip and avoiding his eyes before frowning “I....” she started hesitantly. “I...i...i love....you.....” she said.
The prince stopped and stared blankly before pulling away from her like he had just touched a roach. “Leave.” He demanded, his tone had changed into something dangerous and she nodded before stepping towards the door just as her breathe caught and she coughed violently.
The prince growled “why are you still here?!” He shouted whirling around towards her just as she collapsed and flower petals of a blue lily were spread about the floor.
He stiffened and his eyes widened before his breathe caught and he ran over as she coughed up petals violently. “Senshi? I’m sorry I didn’t know...I...HELP” he shouted, senshi growled as she coughed up another petal along with some blood “don’t...don’t call for help...” she said pressing her lips against his before going limp in his arms.
The guards ran in and he tensed as she laid there in the petals and blood, he stared in fear and horror as he just lost his friend. He didn’t return the feelings she had for him...and then...he lost her.

*end of flashback*
Senshi gasped wrenching her hand from the crystal as thick tears poured from her eyes and she fell to her knees sobbing loudly. Something moved and she coughed before continuing ignoring the movements prescience.
A spider the size of a dog jumped from the ceiling and eyed her as if she were lunch and she wiped her eyes not moving one bit. “Go ahead...” she whispered to it, the arachnid made its way towards her, it’s fangs moving in and out of its mouth in hunger just as a bullet shot through its head and it fell writhing in pain.
“Senshi?” Nu said catching sight of her sitting by the crystal with tears pooling from her eyes, she was vulnerable but senshi didn’t care how people saw her anymore. Vulnerable or cocky...she didn’t care.
“What happened...”vandal asked joining her as they made their way towards senshi, senshi hiccuped as she balled her eyes out and curled up into a ball underneath the pedestal.
“Don’t....don’t help me...”
