Senshi groaned and sat up her eyes widening as she looked around frantically at the familiar warehouse. “W-wait but I was just...” she trailed off confused.
“My precious warrior....” a beautiful and calming voice sliced through the air and senshi whipped around to lock eyes with the queen and prince. “M-my Queen? What are you....” she trailed off looking at the prince and frowning “you...” something in her voice changed when she glared at the prince.
He smirked and glanced over at the crystal on the pedestal, the queen smiled softly “join us...we’ll have a banquet for your return...” she said kindly, senshi looked at her hesitantly and almost believed it before she remembered how she died and she backed away.
“No. You guys aren’t real.” She said tears clogging her throat making it raspy.
The queen raised an eyebrow “why what do you mean?” She asked, senshi’s back hit the wall and she slid down to the ground “Im dead...there’s no way we can return home...” senshi choked out as the tears began to fall.
The prince watched curiously before walking towards her gracefully, his huge pixie wings dragging against the floor “sen...” he said smiling. Senshi looked up at him as he held out his hand for her to take, “come home...it’s not that hard...” he said.
Senshi stared at his hand and her breathe caught before she reached to take it. She stop midway when she heard jayden’s voice in her head, “senshi! Wake up! I need you to wake-“ it stopped abruptly and she stiffened.
“Join us” the queen and the prince repeated and senshi growled and looked at the crystal “no.” She spouted out her voice changing tone again before she grabbed the princes crystal the images filling her head before she held it up in the air.
“You think this is some kind of sick joke?” She asked glaring at the prince, his smirk was wiped clean as for the queen’s calming smile. “Well guess what. I’m not laughing.” She glared something about her changing slightly as she threw the crystal to the floor, the princes eyes widened as it shattered and an object rolled out from the shards.
The queen and prince’s images glitched and disappeared before a black smoke filled the room and started towards senshi, her eyes widened and she jumped towards the object before landing on her shoulder and wincing as her fingers wrapped around it.
The smoke devoured her and the warehouse and then her eyes fluttered open again to the real world.
She gasped for air as she sat up quickly and grasped at her heart in panick, she took shaken breathes before catching sight of an identical body of Jayden as the others slowly started walking towards a girl on the ground in the distance.
Senshi’s eyes were still foggy but she stood slowly and blinked trying to focus them before her eyes widened and she remembered the crystal, ‘the prince will kill me!’ She thought before hesitating and looking at the others before starting to power up her wings when something in her throat started to sprout.
She fell lightly before coughing, her whole body shook violently as she coughed and Jayden whipped around “senshi?” He asked, she held up a finger her eyes filling with tears as she noticed the cherry blossom petals on the ground mixed in with blood.
“Are you alright?” He asked glancing at the other girl as nu helped her and senshi held in her coughs before standing slowly and wiping the blood and petals from her mouth as she turned towards them “I’m fine, fine. Who’s this?” She asked putting on an act hoping they wouldn’t notice the flowers and walked over to look at the girl.
“I think she said her name was magpie...” he answered with sudden concern in his voice, she raised an eyebrow “we should get her somewhere safer...” senshi said trying to hold in another cough.
Jayden nodded as vandal picked up the girl and nu followed them as they started to walk, senshi followed but a bit farther behind in case she coughed again and glanced at Jayden.
Senshi stopped the lack of footsteps from her grabbing jayden’s attention, “you sure you’re okay?” He asked. Senshi frowned and fidgeted with her fingers before she looked at him “sorry...” she mumbled.
“Huh?” He hummed confused, “sorry...I didn’t mean to pass out like that...” she bit the inside of her cheek waiting for a response.
He just stared at her and she glanced at him again but then back at the ground.
